All about relationships that impact on your life no matter what the feelings and what you tell yourself. A large and interesting cast of characters but mainly Beth and Eva's story. In essence a love story. Beth completely messed up in her personal life, her own worst enemy and with a very prickly personality. Professionally successful but unhappy and destructive in her private life. Eva, a different generation but with a very complicated background nearing the end of her life. Surprisingly there seems to be a link. The true tale of Eva and David so different from the official biographies. So many secrets, twists and turns in the history of their lives and romances, all hopefully leading to the resolution of their past and a better and brighter future for some.

I am cheating to say I read this book. I read +/- 100 pages but just couldn't get into it.
