I have had great respect for Inter Varsity Press in the past, so I am dumbfounded as to how this book came to be published by them. Theologically, this author is all over the map, favorably quoting liberal theologians to the extent I cannot believe he is a conservative Bible believer. With so many other good book choices available, skip this one.
