no connection with this book about kids making valentine’s cards for their friend who moved to japan. the crafts were cute but i wasn’t a fan of the illustrations, kinda creepy. average story line with a cute message.

I'd forgotten about this book. In my undergraduate children's literature class, we had to do a group project for Valentine's Day. This was the book my group chose. And now I'm using it for school age story time.
