Charlie Heggensford is fresh off a farm in Idaho when he stumbles (literally) into the office of Fluffers, Inc., where his natural talents are quickly put to use getting male porn stars in the "mood" to perform. Along with the rest of the gang at Fluffers, Inc., Charlie encamps on a serious of hilarious and sexy misadventures.

If you're in the mood for a seriously raunchy read, this is the book for you. A fuck fest complete with the making of porn, menages to orgies, public fisting, a foot fetish, bondage, glory holes, sweaty jock sniffing/tasting and a train on the MC. The only thing left out is twincest and water sports but, hey, there will be a sequel if you're interested.
Okaaay, I can’t believe this was written by the same person who wrote the Williamsburg Inn stories. I loved them so much and wanted to read something else by the same author. I didn’t hate this book. In fact, by the end I grew to like Charlie and the characters at Fluffers, Inc. it was actually a little bit too much sex for me. There was a story, but there was a lot of sex. I doubt that I’ll read any more books in this series, but I might.
Ridiculous overworked plot. Scenes/lines that are meant to be humorous? Well I think they were....
All of these things had me rolling my eyes and yet I kept reading through the end. Probably just so I could point out how silly (in a sad way) this was. But then it didn't end. There are 2 more books. What is going on with super porn god Rock Harding??? He is obviously in love with Charlie Heggensford and has some kind of weird surveillance going on. Why doesn't he just leave mega villain Cedric?
And so I've been sucked in by another bad book that has a sequel. Somebody stop me. Please
So I’d really call this more of an erotic comedy than a romance, given that our hero was with many, many different guys all throughout, though it seems like there might be hope for a romance in the future. There are more books in this series, so I’ll definitely be checking those out to see what happens next.
Regardless of the classification, though, I was dying laughing throughout most of it. Charlie is hopelessly clumsy, which leads to some embarrassing (for him) and hysterical (for me) moments. I almost couldn’t breathe during the sex swing mishap. There’s a bit of a mystery and a LOT of lighthearted sex, but the humor is what I enjoyed the most.
This was a first read for this author.. A great book of Charlie's adventures in LA and being a fluffer. This was well written and a fast passed story and includes lots of sexy scenes and a touch of mystery as well. Charlie 22 yrs was from an Idaho dairy farm and he moves to LA.. Jobs don't go well and hes running out of money, he goes to Fluffers Inc This is his story of his adventures. The cast includes; Ken is the senior fluffer.. Rock is client.. and seems to be everywhere. Kinitia aka boss lady is fighting off her competition for her business but sinister things are afoot. A mystery man breaks in.. Cedric. (Grrr lol)..is the competition for Fluffers Inc. I loved a scene in a certain BMW, then to find out who it belong to I laughed my arse off..
Fun story with lots of, urhm, happy times! Loved the mc’s clumsiness throughout the book, it made Charlie lovable and downright hilarious. I had to hold in my laughter as it was the middle of the night, and now I have a book hangover to recover from. Great lighthearted escape from reality. Grabbing the next book!
And the Hummer goes to.... I laughed my butt off as Charlie went from one porn scene to another as the clumsy yet talented fluffer. I would have liked more dialog but it was a fun read and I will pick up the sequels.
Not necessarily badly written, but the sex scenes were just never-ending and there was no romance in this. It read like a porn movie, which is ok if you like them, but I like romances and it is too hard to read the main protagonist suck a strangers cock through a glory hole and think that there's going to be a HEA. Yeah, yeah, I've read books with characters in porn before but most of the extra sex is off the page and what counts is what is with the love interest, so no, I couldn't finish this.
Fluffers, Inc. is just how I like my erotica: heavy on the action, low on filler. It's not a romance book by any stretch, and I think it's important to realize there's a difference between the two genres. Don't get me wrong, I love a good romance, but sometimes I want to skip the drama and just read about hot, sweaty fun. Another thing I loved is that this book was written with tongue firmly planted in cheek, which is highly refreshing. It never takes itself too seriously. Can't wait to start the next one!
Whoa! The book had a fab storyline and I really enjoyed getting to know Charlie. He has his dream job of being a porn fluffer. Charlie was very endearing! The blunders and clumsiness really added to his charm. The chemistry and sex in this book is SO hot! Now I need to read part 2...
Porn. Total porn, with a little bit of plot. Actually, there was enough plot that I picked up book 2 as soon as I finished this one. The book is pretty much sex on top of sex, which I totally don't mind cuz I am a smut slut like that. However, this just didn't do it for me. It lacked the sizzle I was hoping for. One thing that annoyed me more and more as I read was that every single person having sex said the exact same thing in the throes. No variation. I would think this many porn stars would at least have their own "thing" that set them apart. Absolutely no character differentiation among the characters while doing the nasty. I still gave it 3 stars since the author pretty much incorporates as many kinks and different sexual depravities as possible. Props for that.
So this book gave me a few genuine laugh out loud moments and I liked the hints of 'something more' between Rock and Charlie, but overall, it felt very unfinished and unsatisfying. The info at the end says the author is/has written two sequels but I'm not sure I'm interested in plowing through that much smut for the tiny nuggets of plot. A good three quarters of the book was fucking and my eyes began to glaze over at the half-way point (and not the good kind of glazing over). Much of the sex was gratuitous, adding absolutely nothing to the story, and the book could have benefited from more plot (which would have rendered a sequel unnecessary).

This story is definitely erotica, but it fell flat for me. The characters mostly felt two-dimensional. There wasn't any variety in speech; every one of them said the same dirty things you might expect to hear in a porno, whether that scene was on set or off. It wasn't the sort of dirty talk that turns me on, so I wound up skipping through a lot of the sex. And there was a lot of it. It is not a romance, it's a free-for-all. There is a small amount of plot wound through it, and that kept me reading. I might read the sequels. I might not. 2.5 stars.
I need to read something else of Hank's to see whether this voice is common in his stories.
OMG! This book. I think if you took out all the sex, the book would only be about 50 pages long, so, there's really not much of a plot, but as silly as it was, I couldn't stop reading it. There was something about Charlie, the sweet, clumsy new fluffer at Fluffer's Inc. and his adventures in the world of porn. There were also some fun supporting characters and a bit of a mystery and lots and lots of sex (I skimmed a lot, I mean there's only so many ways you can describe people having sex before you start having to repeat yourself), so if you want something silly and fun and full of sex -- this is the book for you!
Essentially plotless gay erotica. This is a "story" about Charlie, a sex worker, giving BJs to numerous men, mostly porn stars. His usual job is to give BJs but NOT to the point of orgasm so that the porn stars will be fully hard for filming (a vocation which has been called an urban legend by those in the industry). He also has anal sex with numerous men. Okay for what it is, but this is porn and has little in the way of literary merit (nor was it intended to).
Fluffers Inc by Hank Edwards has one of those characters that sticks in your brain. Charlie is a young farm boy from Idaho who lands in Los Angeles with a job to keep the porn stars ready for filming before and between takes. While the story is full of sex, there is still humor and interest in the way Charlie and his friends carry out their tasks. A light and enjyable read.
I'm in the middle of reading Emma and I needed to give my brain a break. So why not pick up so sexy, gay erotic fluff to counterbalance Jane Austen. The author lives in Michigan and the book wasn't as bad as I thought.
3.5 A ridiculously absurd and hilarious book! I love Charlie but am left with tons of questions. Guess I'll need to read the next book to find the answers! ;)
I got tired of waiting to see if ANY kind of relationship would develop. I'm not sure that there was even a conversation in the. Mostly it was directions, like "Go with him"
