I read this when I was about 9 ( 33 now so quite some time ago) and I still think about how much I loved this book as a child. Definitely one that increased my love of reading at a young age and sparked my love for mild chiller/spooky books like goosebumps!
I found the book can give quite a goosebumps if we do a storytelling with the story. And that's what I did. I did a storytelling but i couldn't seem to get the environment to be as horrifying as it can get in the book. I guess you guys have to read it yourself.
This book sparked my curiosity while reading, though I wished the horror towards the end was longer. In my original notes, I wrote, that the book's ending was interesting, but some became friends too fast (I assume I meant the protagonist).
The actual mystery of the story takes a while to unfold but besides that, it was a really nice spooky read. I also enjoyed the character development in the book.
