I still haven't played Dishonored 2 and I really need to. The setting seems absolutely stunning - even if I think I'll prefer Dunwall in the end - and I appreciate this look behind the curtain. I wish, however, that there were a bit more descriptions of the creative process or even of what do some pictures present. Yes, I can see it is an opulent house, but whose house is it in the game and how did that character's personality influence the choices you've made when designing this location? Why does Delilah paint things in such a style?

But still, a very good book, with high quality artwork.

One of my favourite art books ever. Such a wonderful collection of concept art, character studies, environment, and object rendering. I loved the insight of the posters that made up the world and the inspiration for Karnaca and other locations. I learned a lot from this and attribute it to my current art style.

My favourite art book for my favourite video-game-I-can’t-play-because-it-gives-me-motion-sickness-but-I-love-it anyway.

This is all beautiful paintings and design pics, not a lot of text. (I would have liked more text, but the images are so good I’ll forgive the lack of written detail). Karnaca was an amazing achievement from the Arkane team.

A 2020 re-read to reinforce some life goals and remind myself how far I’ve yet to go. (Illustration-wise, not disposing-empresses-wise)

I love this, and I recommend it for anyone who loves the games and wants to learn more about the world and the development of this universe. It's a little different than The Dunwall Archives, since this one has a lot more concept art and designs, rather than excerpts from short stories, letter s and plays.

I loved it nonetheless.

I'm already in love with this franchise for the work and details they put in their story and world building and I am so glad that they put as much an effort into the drawing.you can see all the little details hat make the world that they've built even more believable and lived-in.

Bardzo ładne wydanie — porządne, dopracowane i pełne ilustracji (no patrz, artbook ma rysunki...). Widać, że robiono go głównie z myślą o Emily, ale znajdzie się też trochę o Corvo, mieszkańcach Karnaki i krótkie wprowadzenie o Outsiderze. Dużo materiału o architekturze, florze, faunie, meblach i broni białej. Polecam! 😄

This is such a lovely book, especially if you hold Dishonored close to your heart. I could probably look at the artwork for hours and still find new details, just as it is with the actual game.
