"You don't know me yet," he says softly. But I'm a man of my word. So as much I want to f@#k the way you deserve to be f@#ked, I'm going to keep my promise. At least for tonight."

This is the second novel I've read by Melody Grace and it definitely didn't disappoint. The book takes us back to the lives of the residents of Oak Harbor, one in particular, Delilah. If you've read Heartbreaker which if you haven't I highly recommend, you'll remember her as Eva's best friend. She seemed highly strung and charged. I got to see a more in depth description of her character in this book. Like most people Delilah has issues, and there's always a reason.

I absolutely loved Will Montgomery, he came into Delilah's life like a storm and she had no choice but to follow his lead and finally allow someone into her heart. Will wasn't completely care free though he has some painful secrets from his past, secrets painful enough to pack up and leave his bachelor pad and high paying job and settle down in Oak Harbor, all because of the way one woman spoke of it. That woman being Delilah.

Like the previous book in the series, there were some sexy moments, sweet ones too which I am coming to realise are trademarks for Melody Grace. As with all secrets they have a way of creeping up on you and exposing themselves. Delilah and Will have to deal with the results of their secrets being exposed. This book was pretty low angst so conflicts were quickly resolved, although I do feel like Delilah may have overreacted in some instances. But like I said. Issues.

I can't wait for the next book in this series, especially since its about the most secretive Oak Harbor girl.

Title: Reckless Hearts
Series: Oak Harbor #2
Author: Melody Grace
Release date: June 27, 2016
Cliffhanger: No
HEA

After reading and enjoying Heartbreaker, I knew I had to continue the series with the new full length novel set in Oak Harbor. This book is about Eva's best friend Delilah from the realty company where she worked. The heroine took me some time to warm up to. She's a woman who holds her father's betrayal against her trust close to her heart. After many years, she is permanently changed when his lies and dishonesty cut her so deeply. If the man who raised her and was supposed to cherish her and take care of her couldn't be trusted to keep her heart safe, how was she ever going to put her faith in any other man? So she made herself the good-time girl. The one who you can call for some no strings attached fun. But try to get close to her emotionally and she's running scared.

The one thing I've learned about guys is the good times never last. Commitment, relationships-they all fall apart in the end, ruined by cheating or lies, or just the ordinary grind of everyday existence. I've seen it happen too often to keep believing in that happily-ever-after.

I'm not saying that her actions were unrealistic or that they weren't plausible for her life experiences. They were. I just had a hard time connecting to her personality and her unwillingness to see past her prejudices about men. He was just the most delectable, patient, and sexy man and she was fortunate to have him in her life. From their first meeting he was respectful and appreciative of her and her needs. I was #TeamWill from the start.

Will had moved to town looking for a major life change. He was at a crossroads in his life and he met Delilah at the junction. He was unhappy with his job, and his lack of passion for his success on Wall Street finally took its toll after a bitter breakup. After one chance meeting and an impulsive kiss in the rain, she hadn't seen the last of him. She just didn't know it yet.

Their brief meeting spurred him to take action and shed the life that was weighing him down. He was determined to break through her tough outer shell and make her see that taking a chance on him would have rewards that were worth the risk.

Call it chemistry, call it fate, I don't need to know the name. It's the one damn thing I've been sure of after a world of confusion and doubt. I need more.

Will pursued her with a gentle, single-minded determination. He valued her as well as her goals in life, and that broke through to her like nothing else could. He treated her like she was the most important thing in the world to him, like she mattered. And she could no longer deny how much she wanted him to be different. To have someone to comfort her, someone she could depend on when she's lived her life expecting to be disappointed. If anyone could make her let go and lay her heart on the line, he could.

There was an intensity to his stare that makes something twist, an ache deep in my chest. Nobody's ever looked at me like this. Nobody's ever made me lose control, taken over my body with such command-and tenderness too.

One thing I have to applaud this author for is that she knows how to write some damn fine passionate scenes. She never disappoints in creating some incredible sexual heat and chemistry and these two were no exception. Will may have been a sweet hero, but when it came down to it, he could keep anyone's temperature rising with his confidence and wicked words.

This book was pretty drama free which I liked. It was a straightforward and realistic look at a woman who had to learn how to forgive in order to heal and let love into her life. This was a solid four star read for me and I will happily be continuing the series. I'm really interested to see who Eva's sister Lottie ends up with.

2.5 a-little-less-gentlemanly Stars

This book is super sweet. Like, my teeth hurt, sweet. It was a little too much sugar for me (2 cubes, please), but a lot of people will probably love this story. If you’re looking for a cute beach read, this book is for you.

Will & Delilah….

Delilah & Will….

They were cute. Their meet-cute was cute. Their conversation was cute. Ok, I will admit that he has some dirty talk going on, so that was niiiiice.

Will was an adorable, sexy, gentleman….I just prefer my men a little less….gentlemanly.

I would still recommend this book to readers who love a sweet story. There is nothing wrong with it. There just wasn’t anything that stood out to me.

It just wasn’t my cuppa tea.

"What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you fly?" ~Erin Hanson

When I read a Melody Grace romance, I know it is going to be a special story. One that makes my feelings flutter. My pulse pound. My soul soar. A romance where my heart both hurts and heals its way towards happiness and that much anticipated happily ever after. Reckless Hearts is ALL THOSE THINGS. Spellbinding, smoldering, and sweet, Reckless Hearts is story of fast and fierce love that latches on hard and never lets go. A little bit reckless, a lot romantic, and oh so right.

Reckless Hearts embedded itself deeply in my heart from the very start, never releasing me until the end, where I did not want to let go. Passionate. Poignant. Powerful. Perfect. From the very first page of Reckless Hearts, I was transfixed. Transformed. Totally smitten.

I lived and breathed this soul-wielding and sensational story. The words are so detailed that they painted a vivid picture. I saw the quaint waterside small town. I smelled the ocean. I melted like a hot summer day. The characters' chemistry and love radiated from them to me. I felt every word I devoured as this book, Reckless Hearts, breathed life into me.

"I am a modern woman, hear me roar."

Deliah Morgan is a beautiful blonde, blue-eyed, and curvy spitfire who dishes out sass for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She is strong and smart, and so fiercely independent. I LOVE HER!!!

One night while on business in New York, she meets a gorgeous dark-haired, hazel-eyed, tall, and muscular stranger who saves her from a disastrous night. A real-life Prince Charming rescuing his Cinderella. Impulsively, Deliah kisses Will Montgomery, a kiss she still tastes long after it is over.

"He'll always be the gorgeous guy who helped out of a rough spot---and who kissed me on a rain-soaked street corner so hard, I forgot my own name."

That kissing scene on the city street in the rain with Will and Deliah, strangers with sizzling chemistry is straight out of a Hollywood classic romance movie. Swoon! My heart pitter pattered with the rain.

"From the moment I saw her on the sweet that night with her whip-smart mouth, teasing blue eyes, and infectious laugh, it's felt like we were always going to meet. It's inevitable. And totally unforgettable."

Sometimes you have to live for the moment. Grab life by the balls and shake it up. Will uprooted his life for a woman he helped on the street, a stranger, but whose kiss still lingers. Will is impulsive, intense, and invigorating...and I love it and him.

"The hottest man I've ever met just up and moved halfway across the country---for me?"

Deliah doesn't do relationships and is thrown for a loop when Hurricane Will sweeps into town for good, threatening to sweep Deliah off her feet if she doesn't keep them firmly planted on the ground.

"I was right there on the edge, ready for a push. And man, did Deliah make me fall."

Oh. My. Swoon. Barely into Reckless Hearts, and I'm claiming Will. What man would uproot his life for a stranger he met on the streets of New York for mere minutes?!? I'm smiling as I'm swooning.

"The man's a walking temptation---and I'm a girl with zero self-control."

Control is slipping away for Deliah. The walks around her heart are crumbling as Hurricane Will is breaking them down, piece by piece.

"When you're ready for a real man to show you what it feels like, you just let me know."

Oh how is Will raw and real. As much as Will's beautiful words shot swoon darts straight to my heart, his dirty words awakened lower places, causing some seriously involuntary thigh clenches.

"Oh baby, you're going to have to beg a whole lot louder before I let you come."

Oh dirty and delicious Will, I need you now too.

"You want me to talk dirty to you, sweetheart? Because I can do it all day long. How my cock's going to own every inch of you, fill that sweet pussy until you don't think you can take it anymore. But you will, baby, believe me."

I'm. On. FIRE!!! Scorching from head to toe, Will's words awaken my wanton woman.

"You're going to be mine."

I'm DONE!!! Those five words are the most poignant and possessive, so dominant and daring. I want to be owned by Will. SWOON. SCORCH. SMILE.

Deliah is done too. Hot Hurricane Will has swept her up in his vortex, the tunnel of love. This handsome man with a huge heart and a magical mouth has turned Deliah's carefully carefree life upside down.

"Just a taste isn't enough. I need all of him. And I've never needed anyone before."

Will has willed his way into Deliah's life. Her head. Her heart. I LOVE IT!!! I've been cheering so hard for this crazy couple. Though as much as my heart soars, oh does it fall.

"It takes two seconds. Two seconds for my new beginning to shatter, and the life I've been building here to crumble to ash."

My heart is wrapped in a warm and cozy blanket and it is pounding with pleasure as Reckless Hearts has stolen it and every ounce of swoon from my body. Reckless Hearts hit my heart, striking me like a lighting bolt: fast, hard, and straight to the soul.

Melody Grace's warm and wondrous words cast a magical glow, bathing me in a warm bath of nostalgia as they lit up the story with love, hope, and happiness. I LOVE how Melody connects her books of the past to those of the present, giving readers a reunion, a gift of former greats. This author's stories always pull me into a vortex of intoxicating and immense swoon and satisfaction. Melody Grace's powerful and poignant writing is memorable and magnificent, and all of her books from Beachwood Bay to Oak Harbor spark ALL THE FEELS. Simply unforgettable.

What a good summer read! I really enjoyed this one. It was sweet and steamy. Which is usually right up my alley.

Delilah is your resident realtor in a small town. She loves living there because everyone knows everybody. She has high hopes of becoming the owner of the place she works and nothing is going to stop her ambition. Delilah also has commitment issues due to her family drama in the past.

Will is a Wall Street financial guru that after a chance encounter with Delilah drops everything and moves across country to seek out a slower pace of life. He has hopes of winning Dee's heart regardless of how many walls she puts up.

Let me tell you I LOVED Will. He knew what he wanted and went after it. Even though it wasn't going to be easy, Dee's heart was what he wanted.

My issue was Dee. Let me tell you she was stubborn. I like strong women in books. However I felt her strongness was a front for what her heart was telling her and she refused to follow it. I wanted to shake her. The "drama" was a bit silly on her side. She blew it up when I really think she should have moved past it quicker.

I also kinda wished we got more of Will's background. His family is vaguely mentioned but never talked about in depth.

I liked this one way more then the previous one in the series. Will is such a swoonworthy guy.

I recommend this one for readers that like low angst and a go getter guy.

4 stars!

The beginning of Reckless Hearts had me hooked! That first kiss had me smiling with happiness at the level of balls Delilah had. I mean come on, a sexy man helps you out and you kiss him?! I want to do that!!

Delilah is trying to keep her heart intact after her father had cheated on her mother years before. She has major trust issues since then and won't open up to any man. Will is running from his life in New York, and we don't know what that life is until almost the very end. And boy, what a doozie!

Will had me from the moment he moved to Oak Harbor based on Delilah's description of the place. I just knew he would be a man easily fallen for. And I did. Or Delilah did, okay we both did. Ha!

The side characters were intriguing as well. I especially took an interest in Sawyer....he seems like he would be a hoot!! I'll be going back to each book and reading that's for sure!!

I'm so glad I took a chance and signed up for Reckless Hearts, it was a well written book with good steam and very likable characters.

Scrolling through my kindle in the weekend as there wasn't much to do except read as wasn't feeling 100%, I came across a Melody Grace book. I always find her books nice and relaxing to read as similar to Abbi Glines's series where the characters tend to crossover, so do the characters of Melody Grace's books. This book starts with Delilah aka Lila having the worst day of her life and ends with her purse going missing which had her whole life in it including her car keys. She is trying to break into her car when she meets a good samaritan Will Montgomery who helps her out of her jam. Will hasn't met anyone so full of life and shazam - he is captivated by her. The pair share a brief kiss and go their separate ways. A few months later, Lilah is surprised to see Will in her smalltown of Oak Harbor and even more surprised when he said he has moved here for her. Lila isn't the type of girl who settles down and is in for real "relationships", she is your "fun times" girl. Can Will prove to her that he loves her and isn't going anywhere? What will happen though when Will's ex turns up in town and wants Will back? Find out whether Will and Lila will get their HEA in Reckless Hearts. Also, the crossover of characters includes the Callahans from the Beachwood Bay series. For your cutesy feel-good summer romance reads, check out the author Melody Grace and her variety of series.

ARC received for an honest review

I have not read the first book in this series, but this did not affect my enjoyment of Reckless Hearts.

William Wyatt Montgomery takes the bull by the horns when he has a chance encounter with Delilah. He makes a life changing decisions, seemingly on a whim, and from that moment on things are all the more better.

Delilah works her butt off to advance her career, but she plays just as hard in her down time. But it is all not strings attached, commitment free play.

I adore the spark and the banter between Dee and Will. They are smart and sassy, feisty and fun. But right from the start, you can feel there is more.

But the course to a happy ever after is not an easy one, and Delilah sure does make things difficult! Although I could kind of understand her reasoning, I wanted to slap some sense into her and tell her to pull her head out of her backside to see what was right in front of her.

Will is just swoonworthy! From the first word to the last I wanted a Will of my own!

There are some great secondary characters, some that I can go back and read and some that I am hoping for more of in the future.

Reckless Hearts is sweet, summer (or winter for me) read that I really enjoyed.

I can't wait to see what Ms Grace brings us next.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. I really enjoyed this one!! Will has taken residence right below Emerson on my fav MG characters. Who doesn't like a man who's good with his hands???

Delilah works hard, and plays harder. Being betrayed by the most important man in her life, Delilah steers clear of relationships. Delilah's words to live by: "Keep things simple, keep it fun, and nobody has to tell any lies. After all, if you’re not expecting happily-ever-after, then you don’t lose any sleep when it all comes crashing down." "Promises you never make can’t be broken, and that’s just easier on everyone in the end." She loves her job, and she love men, as long as they don't get any ideas about happily ever after.

Will is on the fast track to success. When he catches his fiancé in bed with another man, he stops to take a long look at his life. He realizes that all the money, fancy NY home and 80 hour work weeks aren't what he's about. He's a simple man, who wants a simple life... And to find a woman and live happily ever after.

A stolen purse, a chance encounter, some light B&E and one steamy kiss has Will packing his bags and leaving the rat race behind. Destination: Oak Harbor. He can't get that kiss out of his mind, so he's going after more. He thought Wall Street was a tough gig, but getting Dee to agree to a date makes Wall Street seem like child's play.

Will is determined to make Delilah his, and Delilah is determined to keep him at arms length. Slow and steady wins the race, a race for Delilah's heart. “But sooner or later, you’re going to realize I’m not like the other guys. I don’t play games, I don’t run scared because a woman wants to call the shots. I can give you everything you need. Everything,” he says, his eyes flashing with sensual promise. “So you just take your time,” Will says, sliding his thumb over my damp, open lips. “And when you’re ready for a real man to show you what it feels like, you just let me know.”

Delilah decides to finally let Will past the walls she's built around her heart, but when Will's past shows up at his door, Dee's world comes crashing down. She has a big decision to make, does she walk away from the love of her life or "Can you just replace the broken pieces, and have the scars painted over, better than before? Or do those cracks last a lifetime, shadows of the damage that went before?"

Melody Grace is brilliant. I'm trying to form the words to describe how much I enjoyed this story. It had ALL the FEELS.

This is the story of Dee (Delilah) and Will Montgomery. Dee is a take-charge, modern woman who is building a name for herself in the real estate industry. She's a small town girl with a big heart. She's never allowed room for relationships, and always kept the strong belief that it's better to live in the moment than let anyone in. She's always kept herself safe from a broken heart by sticking to the heat of the moment and one-night stands. I adore this character and I think we can all relate to her in some way.

Will Montgomery is the big city guy who is new in town. He seems to have everything figured out, but there's an air of mystery surrounding him. He knows what he wants, and he has his heart set on Delilah. He WILL make her his own.

If you enjoy a sweet romance with HOT scenes, a very intriguing plot, all the FEELS, and a smoldering book boyfriend, then Reckless Hearts is the book for you. You won't be disappointed and it will keep you turning the pages, especially once the secrets are spilled!

Well, hello Will!! Not only is there a gorgeous man on the cover of Melody Grace's new book, but the way she describes him is sultry and sinful. He's a mystery, one who's fighting his own past.

We met Delilah in Heartbreaker as Eva's spunky BFF. Delilah is fun and energetic, but behind that facade is a guarded woman who has been hurt deeply.

They meet by chance and sparks fly. From the very beginning, you cheer for them. They're dynamic and passionate.

Sexy, fun, and gripping. Melody's newest book keeps you flipping the pages, begging for more Delilah and Will!!

Review

This book.

I wasn’t expecting this book. Seriously. Holy book devour, Batman. I don’t think I’ve read a book quite that fast in a while.

Thoroughly engaging, with characters, that while at times, I wanted to hit with their own book, I also sympathized with and seemed to understand, falling in love in a way that seemed almost too sweet and perfect for words.

And the love scenes. God.

Anyone that knows me knows that love scenes don’t sell a book for me. I enjoy ones without them just as much as ones with them. It’s not about that for me. In the end it’s about the love story taking place between two people (even in erotic romances…I’m weird I know). This book delivered on that.

The scenes here, they were so beautifully driven by love, but in the steamiest kind of way. All of the buildup leading into the first, and then every subsequent one after, it was like, I felt every emotion involved for both characters, and the scenes, much like love making between two committed people in real time, bonded me. I couldn’t walk away and I think I fell just as hard as they both did for each other.

I was swept away by Will. As far as hero’s go in fiction, he was tops. I don’t think for the first half of the story at least, I stopped swooning. He just swept me up in him and then in his courting of Delilah. He was an incredible character. One with faults and flaws just like the rest of us but one that also had no fear in owning his mistakes. He was just…god. I`m swooning again now.

I have to admit that I enjoyed Delilah at first, but then my enjoyment did begin to wane a little deeper in. I felt that there was a bit of an overreaction to something later in the story, even though deep down I did understand at least in part, where it stemmed from. How driven she was by instances of the past that she was a part of. But as the story progressed, that unease I felt, wafted away.

I am a sucker for a growth story after all and this story, well it was Delilah’s, and there was no one more perfect for her, to help her grow than Will.

I have to admit that there was a moment while reading this, that I thought the drama level was going to be off the charts in terms of other characters appearances here, but it turned out to be very low drama wise, which I enjoyed immensely. Making this story a refreshing change of pace.

It was a love story to be sure, and one heck of one, but it was also a story of growth, change and accepting that we`re all human and we make mistakes. But it`s in the learning from them and moving on to create something stronger and better, where true healing and happiness can begin.

I can`t wait to see where the author takes the other characters in this series next and I`ll definitely be going back and reading book one now that I`ve fallen head over feet for this one.

My thanks to the author and all others involved in letting me read this story before it`s official release. Will and Delilah`s journey was one I was so glad to be a part of.

Blurb:

It should be the offer of a lifetime: sexy craftsman Will Montgomery wants to rock my world, and boy, does he know what to do with his hands – and that filthy, delicious mouth of his…

Only problem is, I don’t believe in relationships. And Will has ‘boyfriend material’ written all over his chiseled, hunky abs. He was supposed to be an impulse fling, but now he’s shown up in Oak Harbor, NC, to put down roots, and he’s determined to make me com…mit.

Love always ends in tears and tequila, but Will seems different. He’s charming, and funny, and did I mention that miraculous mouth of his? Despite all my better judgment, I’m falling. Hard. But can something this good turn out to be true? Or will old scars keep us from building a future together? For the first time ever, maybe I want to be proven wrong...

Review:
“When he kisses me, there’s no escape. Will’s lips explore softly, his steady hands pin me down, and something in my chest finally snaps, unravels. The knot of sadness, that angry, bitter place, it all unspools as I sink into the tenderness of his embrace.”

5 reckless stars!!! Another great book by Melody!!!

Delilah doesn’t do relationships, she had her heart broken once before and she’s not doing it again! That all changes the minute she sees sexy Will Montgomery. Their journey together is tumultuous and sinfully sexy!! I’m a huge fan of Melody Grace and now I love her even more!!! Great series and I need more!

“Call it chemistry, call it fate, I don’t need to know the name. It’s the one damn thing I’ve been sure of after a world of confusion and doubt. I need more.”

“In an instant, I’m surrounded by him: his scent, the whisper of his breath against my cheek, the heat from his sun-drenched skin. It’s an avalanche of sensation, and god, it’s too good to be true. How can someone just holding me feel so right?”

“There’s an intensity to his stare that makes something twist, an ache deep in my chest. Nobody’s ever looked at me like this. Nobody’s ever made me lose control, taken over my body with such command–and tenderness, too.”

Told from dual points of view, Reckless Hearts follows the story of Will and Delilah. Will and Delilah meet in a moment of chance. Will rescues Delilah from being locked out of her car and the two share a magical kiss, only to say goodbye moments later. Delilah never thought she would see Will again, but won’t deny that the kiss they shared, marked her. However, fate decided to intervene and brought Will back into Delilah’s life. At first, it seems too good to be true. Why would this amazing guy turn his life upside for Delilah? And would Delilah be willing to open up her heart and take a chance on love? Well, there is only one way to find out….

Small town romances were never on my radar until I discovered Melody Grace. There is just something about her writing and the stories that she tells. They just pull you in from the very first page. The characters are so real and so intriguing, that you just can’t look away. You want to know more about them and before you know it, you’ve devoured the entire book. Reckless Hearts is no exception. Now, I have to tell you that Reckless Hearts is a case of insta-love/insta-connection, but in this case, it works extremely well. The connection between Will and Delilah is strong and extremely palpable. The two of them are like magnets. No matter how much they try to fight it or try to stay away, it’s impossible.

Reckless Hearts is a fantastic addition to the Oak Harbor series. The story-line is fun and enchanting. The characters are easy to relate to and connect with. The writing is very easy to get lost in. Reckless Hearts is a wonderful summer read. It’s fun. It’s sexy, with just the right amount of steam. There’s a super hot, alpha male who isn’t afraid to go after the woman that he wants. The story has just the right amount of angst and drama. And the characters are ones you just can’t get enough of. I enjoyed everything about Reckless Hearts and can not wait to see where this series will go next!

I dove into Reckless Hearts headfirst and completely blind. This was my first tango with Ms. Grace, and I’d say we made pretty good dance partners.

I absolutely loved the beginning scene…

Picture it:
Girl doesn’t get job.
Girl goes into bar to drown her sorrows in a glass of something –anything – with alcohol in it.
Girl’s purse is stolen…
Along comes boy, a complete stranger, to save the day.
And then the police arrive…
It’s fun. It’s endearing. It’s real.

Hey, it could happen.

Then things got a little crazy.

Will (the knight in shining armor) up and moves to Delilah’s (the girl who needed rescuing) hometown, because she happened to mention it was an awesome place to live. A bit creepy, if you ask me…

Anyway…

Will is running from something. I’m sure you deduced that. We don’t find out what until the end, and of course, Delilah has an issue with it. She’s pretty headstrong and independent. It was a nice change of pace to have a heroine anti-relationship, rather than always having the hero more of the commitmentphobe. News of the what didn’t go over well (naturally) and there’s trouble in paradise.

Reckless Hearts follows the same formula as most romance novels. Nothing wrong with that, it’s just a bit predictable. Sometimes predictable is good, like when you’re sitting on a beach somewhere with a fruity umbrella clad drink. It’s not a heart wrenching, gut pulverizing novel, and it’s also not an overly light and fluffy piece. I think this story is somewhere in the middle. It didn’t blow me away, but I wasn’t let down either. Melody Grace can count on me reading another of her novels, so I’d consider this one a win.

I have seen Melody Grace’s name on many books that I thought would be great to read, unfortunately for me, I never pursued it until now. Let me tell you, as soon as I picked up Reckless Hearts, I could not put it down … it was that good. I felt like giving myself a kick in the you know what, because I have been missing out.

I loved the character of Deliah Morgan, as she was a strong female lead, who has seen what infidelity could do to a relationship, as she watched her parents marriage fall apart. So what is a girl supposed to do, why swear off men of course .. except for the one night stands. However, when she bumps into Will one terrible afternoon and then again a week later, he has a way of changing everything that Deliah has ever thought. Can one person change the course of your life?

Let me tell you that Melody Grace knows how to right a story …. and a damn good one! I loved both Will’s and Deliah’s characters and enjoyed the interactions between the two characters. The storyline felt very real and Melody never once strayed from the storyline or was untrue to her characters. Melody Grace’s ability to write a love scene is amazing, as she can draw you, making you want more … and let me tell you, more you will get … She is not a prude!

I definitely would recommend Reckless Hearts for anyone who is looking for a hot, romantic read. Melody Grace does not disappoint with her latest release and in fact you will be treated to a gem of a book Make sure that you add Reckless Hearts to your To-Be-Read shelf and I promise you that you will not be able to put it down. Highly addictive!

This story starts out
laying a beautiful foundation.
Setting the pace for a perfectly pitched Grand slam!!!
I raced through the first 4 chapters dying to see Will and Dee make a go at.
Will, the mysterious and sexy newcomer
in town crossing paths with Dee at every point in her life in this small town.
Dee being ever the cautious one,
is protecting her heart from even the tiniest scratch.
Will is very hard to resist.
He is absolutely Blissful,
Hot and almost to good to be true. However the tangled web of bliss they have starts to unravel
at record breaking speed.
I couldn't and you won't be able to either, put this book down.
I couldn't concentrate on work all I could think of was what's going to happen next with these 2.
I love a book that can be
sweet and swoon worthy and then turn sizzling hot and onto to dramatic and start the cycle all over again.
It's like getting all worked up and then splashed with cold water
only to heat back up
and EXPLODE!!! I
mean detonate like a bomb and then be pieced back together ever
so delicately and
worshipped. I had never read any of Melody's book but when
I read the blurb I was intrigued.
Then I opened my kindle
and the rest is history.
I couldn't have been
more happy delighted about this
heart warming story.
This is the perfect
summertime read.

This is my 2nd book to read from Melody and I'm loving them.

Stranded after losing her car keys, Delilah never thought she would be rescued by the gorgeous and handsome stranger Will. Knowing she'll never see him again, The two share a mind-blowing kiss that leaves her weak in the knees. What Delilah didn't expect was to see Will turn up in her hometown permanently. Can she put her past heartache behind and let Will conquer her heart?

What I love about Melody's books is that they are not hard hitting, and so easy to read and still have a very enjoyable storyline and this was no different. Delilah appears as a supporting character in Heartbreaker and Reckless Hearts continues on from that. Melody not only creates great main characters she also gives us great supporting characters my favourite being Lottie. Lottie was also a supporting character in Heartbreaker and I would love to read her story.

Delilah is a very strong character but also has a vulnerable side which makes her so easy to fall in love with. Will is smokin hot and makes you go all gooey on the inside and weak in the knees.

A Sexy, easy reading story that's not hard-hitting and a guaranteed Happy Ending.

Such an awesome read! I loved it so much I don't even knot where to start this review!
The second in this series, which can easily be read as a stand alone.
Written in the first person, with a few chapters in dual POVs. The writing style is exquisite. I honestly always love Melody Grace's writing style. It's so unique and beautiful. I quickly and effortlessly get so emersed in the story that I can't put it down. Every time.
The characters are so well developed and real, it's so easy to fall in love with them. The secondary characters are just as awesome and always add to the storyline. The chemistry between the two main characters is smoldering! Their love scenes are steamy without being over the top. It's all such a perfect mix.
Some of my favorite quotes:
"if you're not expecting happily-ever-after, then you don't lose any sleep when it all comes crashing down."
""And when you're ready for a real man to show you what it feels like, you just let me know." He releases my wrists..."

Another wonderful book set in charming Oak Harbor. This is the 2nd in the Oak Harbor series and follows Delilah's journey through past hurt and forgiveness in an effort to realize love is worth the fight.

In today's bookstore full of predictable girl meets boy, boy and girl fall in love and live happy every romance novels after this book stands apart from the rest. Melody Grace gives you characters that are dealing with pasts that have wrecked them and have left them feeling gun shy. Her character background and development leaves you feeling as if Delilah is your sister or best friend and can feel her emotions right alongside her and want nothing more than for her and Will to get their Happily Ever After. As someone who grew up in Small Town USA these characters are relatable and lovable. The story is one that will have you reading a bit faster because you can't wait to see if they make it.

Melody Grace delivers another book that you won't want to put down! I can't wait to see what the future holds for our beloved characters of Beachwood Bay and Oak Harbor.

Reckless Hearts is book two in the Oak Harbor series by Melody grace. This is Delilah Morgan's story. We first met Delilah in Heartbreaker where she was the best friend of Eva.

Delilah doesn't do or believe in relationships. She has major trust issues, so when she met Will Montgomery, he knocked the wind right out of her. This man had it all, looks to die for, personality in spades and just plain goodness. He would be the perfect boyfriend, only Delilah doesn't do boyfriends. Delilah fought as hard as she could not fall for him, but she fell hard.

This was a very lighthearted and fun book to read. I loved Will and his determination to win over Delilah. She is feisty and doesn't make it easy on him. I fell in love with the fact that he can give and take and he teaches Delilah that true love is worth fighting for.

Even though this is book 2 it can totally be read as a standalone. From page 1 was I hooked. Delilah does not believe in relationship after she saw what happened to her parents (and its different than what you think). She meets Will when she’s locked out of her car in the city and he happens upon her. Will helps her by “breaking” into her car so she can get home. Delilah tells Will about her small town and Will is intrigued. He’s had it with the city. He decides to get the hell out of dodge (city) and move to the same town. Delilah sees Will and immediately thinks boyfriend material so not for her. Will on the other hand isn’t afraid of a challenge. What follows is a wonderful love story with its share of up and downs granted but well worth the read.

Now talk about plowing down walls with a hammer. Will had his work cut out for him but he succeeded in getting Delilah. Yeah that was easy and it took smooth talks and showing her cared but winning her back will take a village and some help from outside of county limits.

This was a sweet second chance romance within a romance that was supportive, uplifting, and sexy. I adored Will and Delilah because they lifted each other effortlessly and aided when doubt crept in. I wanted more because I am greedy but was happy for the closure in which Dee received from the source that caused all her doubt to begin with.

This is a light sweet read that will have you cheering and believe in a fresh new beginning, somewhere else.

Awwww Melody Grace has done it again. The way she writes theses small town romance books will having you dreaming of packing your bags and finding your own small town adventure. Will and Delilah were perfect!!!!! He adored her so much and was willing to take that big leap just to have her. Once Delilah got over her issues and finally opened up to him, it was watching a great movie where the guy gets his girl and the girl finally gets her happy ending. This book had it all.....charm.....romance....sexual tension....drama....a dirty talking man....hot sex!!!!! Loved every minute of this book and was sad to see it end.

This is book 2 in the Oak Harbor Series! Although, it could be read as a stand alone, book 1 was so good...why wouldn't you read it first!? The cover alone should suck you in....I know it did me!

“When you’re ready for a real man to show you what it feels like, you just let me know.” This made me fall in love and want Will myself..LOL!! What a guy!! Delilah would be a fool not to take him up on his offer!! However, she doesn't do relationships. Will is such a great guy, how will she be able to resist him?

I love Melody Grace's books! They always have me captivated from the beginning, holding on to every word!! Another great book by her!

The second installment of the Oak Harbor series was great, sweet and entertaining I was captured from the very first moment-- wanting to laugh at the ridiculous predicament of our heroine having a really cruddy day-- I was swept up in the magic once again, of the sweet story of a man trying to find himself and a woman fighting the pains from her relationship with her father-- learning that all men are not the same and sometimes true love really is worth fighting for. Melody Grace did an amazing story that is perfect with a cup of joe or a glass of wine -- escape for a while in this wonderful story that left me with warm tingles x

Will sometimes just needs to take action, "I hear Will’s voice curse, “To hell with the damn fish.” He throws the rod down and spins me around. I can only glimpse the determined hunger in his eyes before his mouth claims mine in a searching, searing kiss." Will's always willing to give you his opinion, “I kind of like what you’re wearing now. Or, not wearing . . .” Will pulls me closer, sliding his hands over my bare stomach. I laugh, dancing out of reach." I really enjoyed this book, I loved Will.
