My Dwarf Rabbit introduces prospective owners to the various breeds of dwarf rabbit with color photos and profiles of each breed. Monika Wegler, one of Europe's leading pet book authors and photographers, Titles in the My Pet series of pet care books are especially focused to answer the questions and meet the needs of inexperienced and soon-to-be animal owners. My Pet books combine detailed instruction and advice alongside more than 250 color photos, eye-catching and informative sidebars, and colorfully illustrated cover flaps. The text is clearly written, and accessible both to adults and older children.
The book has a very good idea and intention. A big plus is that the emphasis here is on proper housing and perhaps also the fact that the rabbit is not a simple and cheap pet. The sentences sometimes didn't make much sense, but otherwise the book reads quite well. However, there were a lot of things I didn't agree with. And according to my experience and knowledge, there was a lot of information missing. And I'm not sure if it will do anything for a beginner.
This book is very informative. This series is my favorite small animal series out there. It is super descriptive. The pictures are cute, too. I definitely recommend this book if you are getting a dwarf rabbit, or just want to learn more about them.
Excellent book with good emphasis on house-training your rabbit. Rabbits should never be left in their cages or hutches for extended periods of time, and should instead be treated like a member of the family (like cats and dogs are, for example). Great book.
Dieses Buch gibt einen guten Überblick über was man als Zwergkaninchenhalter wissen sollte und ist gerade für den Einstieg sehr gut. Ich benutze es auch jetzt immer wieder gerne zum Nachschlagen.
