Dakota A stereotypical starving artist in New York. Barely able to pay her rent by the pencil sketches she draws on weekends, terrified to open her student loan bills. When she meets Alec, a highly skilled Wall Street trader, she's intrigued. But when she's hit by ball of light and drops unconscious on the streets of Manhattan, she's pulled into an ancient struggle and soon learns she's the only one who can stop it. With Alec and her sister by her side, she must embrace the gifts she's kept hidden from everyone, including herself, or the world will fall under the spell of a madman.
Another great novel by the author. Just a little anticlamatic being Dakota's friends&family weren't apart of her escape or the evil woman caught. But it was still a great thriller!
omg that was a rush like a ride from Kay hooper's bishop series or heather grahams Harrison investigations if you need the suspense this is it. if you need a little romance this is it great mix. just when you think you know what's gonna happen oops!!! lol
