Newly Wed and Newly Cooking

Rate this book
"It's much more than a cookbook," said one reader. It certainly is! The 166 pages are packed with 200 recipes, dozens of cooking tips and how to's, inspirational quotes, Bible verses and wisdom from happily married couples. Each recipe is written with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions and includes an estimated preparation time. One feature that sets this cookbook apart from others are the love stories, stories about how couples met, fell in love and married. Newly Wed and Newly Cooking makes a great gift for young married couples who are new to marriage and cooking.

I bought this book because I loved the name, the cover, and the concept of incorporating love stories into a cookbook designed for newlyweds. I've already found several recipes I'd like to try, and I liked the advice for cooking and using certain appliances. The only thing I didn't like was the tiny font of the love stories that made them difficult to read. Also, I think the book could have a better introduction to tie the whole concept together.

This book is simply adorable. As a newlywed (8 months) it has been my go to for meal guidance.
