A slayer. A protector. A father.
A new king with the blackest of hearts.

And head OVER heels in love with…
The little princess who owned my twisted soul.

Sometimes the villains don’t just want their happy ending…
They demand it.

This isn’t OVER, baby.
This will never be OVER.

After the way 'This Is Love, Baby' left off, I knew I'd be in for another dark, disturbing read with the next book in the series. With Gabe, again, playing a central role, how could it be anything but deliciously twisted? Rest assured. If dark, objectionable themes are your thing, you're in for a treat!

Alternating between past and present-day, this book provides much more insight into the events that molded Gabe into the villain that we came to know in 'This Is War, Baby'. K. Webster managed to endear readers to Gabe, which was no small feat. I didn't think there was any way that I'd ever see Gabe as anything other than the cruel, sadistic nutjob that he is. I was wrong. While he is all of those things, he is also vulnerable and a victim in and of his own right.

In fact, this time around, Gabe is frequently the voice of reason. Scary, right? Yet, it's true.

As you probably remember, the last book left off with Baylee and War raising a very young Hannah. Meanwhile, Gabe was watching from afar. The book left off with an ominous feeling. It was clear that the young Hannah had captured Gabe's attention and a feeling of dread set in.

Fast-forward more than ten years and Hannah has grown into a beautiful young lady. Meanwhile, Gabe has continued to watch his "daughter's" every move from afar. He's in her life to stay, whether she knows it or not.

One night, Hannah finds herself in a very dangerous situation. Poor judgment and a sense of teenage invincibility make her an easy target for some scumbag rapists. Flattered by the attention of the good-looking older guys at the party, Hannah doesn't suspect their malicious motives.

When Gabe intervenes, saving her from her rapists, the two are bonded. In no time, the two become inseparable. He hadn't planned on making his presence known to his daughter in such a manner, but Gabe is overjoyed at finally having her in his life.

To say that their relationship is disturbing would be an understatement. Right from the start, there was a sexual undertone to their interactions. It doesn't take much time for those thoughts to cross the line into actions.

Moreover, Hannah is quite unstable herself. Her psychotic behavior makes Gabe look like an upstanding role model. She kept Gabe on his toes, for sure. I definitely didn't see that coming.

The only issue I had with this book was the way relationships between the "old" characters seemed to just work themselves out. War and Gabe were civil, if not bordering on friendly, with each other for a significant chunk of the book. That just didn't ring true to me given past events. I had a really hard time buying it.

This certainly isn't a book for the faint of heart. There is sexual violence, murder and even incestuous situations. It isn't a story that will appeal to many readers.

If you're a fan of the dark and twisted stuff, this is an excellent choice. It will leave you squirming and afraid to find out what happens next. It is disturbing and absolutely depraved. I loved every minute!

****Spoilers*****

OMG I can't take any more. This book is boring me and annoying me in equal measure. So many things just aren't working for me.

#1 Gabe is like in his late 50s/early 60s. He is old..... fucking old! I mean come on OLD! So this was what I kept picturing in my mind ....

 photo blueharvest_zpsovcckeed.gif

#2 What the fuck is wrong with Hannah. She is one of the most unlikable heroines I have ever read Evar! I not only am not connecting to her I am finding myself wanting to slap the shit outta her.

 photo tumblr_n8p5dmkUvZ1qzi80do1_r1_500_zpsjecebbeo.gif

I just don't get how the author is trying to blame that bitches crazy on her sweet and lovable father War. War's issues came after that shit with his mom so how did he pass it on when it's trauma based and not hereditary. She didn't get it from her mommy or her daddy she is just a crazy ass bitch period!

 photo 0dce009ab5a178d7146fc2f8c2849bfd_zpsyck1svlh.gif

#3 Unbelievable over the top crazy! The incest like relationship (they aren't related although Gabe thought for a while that she was his daughter) was just so damn over the top. Hell most of the book that I read before I couldn't take anymore was way too over the top crazy. I mean fuck everyone is rapist in this series or everyone one is getting raped.

 photo youngb-hide-your-kids-hide-your-wife-hide-your-husband-cause-they-rapin-everybody-up-in-here-thumb_zpsbhulxnmi.jpg

#4 why is Gabe still alive for God's Sake why won't that man die already???? He was shot, stabbed, beat, had a huge fall, etc yet he just keeps breathing. I kept hearing Austin Powers in my head

 photo 3791531-5752209366-cb7.g_zpsqbyk7mix.gif

Then it was just over the top gross the way he talks about Baylee to Hannah... One comment towards the start of the book really left a bad taste in my mouth

“Baylee Marie Winston was your mother’s name before she married Warren McPherson. Your grandfather is Loveland McPherson. And you, my dear, are Hannah. Let me guess,” he says with a chuckle. “Your mom hates cucumbers.” His laughter is even more beautiful than his smiles. It warms me to my core. I return his smile. “Well, she’s allergic. Dad is too, I think.”-Gabe and Hannah

The over all truth is I'm just not connecting. I'm sitting here bored rolling my eyes, skimming and wishing it was over..... Then I thought I don't have to do this to myself anymore. So For the second time ever I am DNFing a book. Maybe someday I'll come back to it just to see what happens. Not that I think I will magically love it but maybe just to see how it ends. Just not now when it's annoying me.

This was definitely the most f’d up installment of the series so far, and I absolutely LOVED it!! I enjoyed it so much and got turned on so many times I lost count. There may be a visit to a therapist in the near future for me because I don’t even know how I could actually have fallen for a completely deranged psychopath like Gabe, but I did!! K. Webster, again, had me seeing the villain in a different light. This book will give you insights into the man who has been a living nightmare in the previous two books.

We thought we had seen the last of Gabe towards the end of book two, but when we get to the last couple of pages we learn he had been saved by a doctor who lives just down the beach from War and Baylee. He’s been living with this lady for the past two years and all the while he’s also been spying on War, Baylee, and especially their daughter, Hannah. Gabe believes Hannah is his daughter and is biding his time until he can be a part of her life. Nearly seventeen years later he will get his chance.

Gabe may just have met his match. He even seems to be the more rational character as opposed to Hannah McPherson. She takes crazy to a whole other level! These two are a modern day psychotic version of Bonnie & Clyde! There were times I even felt kind of dirty for enjoying the very steamy bits of this story!!

What I didn’t expect was to develop a soft spot for Gabe, but this is his book and we are made privy to all that transpired during his horrific childhood. You’ll understand how the monster was born, and we learn that present day Gabe is motivated by his need for love. I found that I could forgive him for all his past sins and there will be some surprising alliances made.

Hannah, on the other hand, I wasn’t too big a fan of. She was definitely a very unstable young woman and I think that it was Baylee’s horrific experiences with Brandon and Gabe while being pregnant that doomed the life of Hannah. I’d blame that more than her having inherited anything from War since all of his idiosyncrasies developed after he witnessed a traumatic event. His problems were born from circumstances rather than being genetically inherited. I never really felt any pity for Hannah because the girl didn’t have one redeeming quality.

This is a seriously twisted and addictive series! I think it is simply a masterpiece!! After finishing this last book, I know I would read anything by K. Webster. She has brought me over to the dark side and I may never return!!

THIS ISN’T OVER, BABY is available now. If you crave a twisted dark read, then this is definitely one you will not want to miss!!

Gabe is back, and just as sick and twisted as ever! I presumed going into this it was going to be the darkest book in the series thus far. Gabe is the villian, after all. Without a doubt, I was 100% correct in my assumption.

Gabe has been living down the beach from War and Baylee for 18 years keeping close watch over their daughter, Hannah. From the beginning, we can see that Hannah isn't right in the head. She proves to be obsessive and delusional by trying repeatedly to seduce members of her high school's faculty holding the belief that they want her as much as she wants them. While her parents are vacationing in Italy, Hannah decides to go to a college party with the intention of losing her virginity. She winds up being drugged and raped by two men. Gabe intervenes, murdering her rapists, and whisks her off to the safety of his home. This is when we depart on the crazy train, folks!

This Isn't Over, Baby is a story about two deeply depraved individuals doing equally depraved things, while also exploring the theme of nature vs. nurture. It is not for the faint of heart. I wouldn't recommend this book to everyone. This one is truly for fans of the dark and disturbing.

I was really excited to read this installment in the War & Peace series. While I love Baylee and War, Gabe has always intrigued me. He was just so incredibly messed up, and I couldn't wait to get inside his head again. I also wanted to get to know Hannah, and find out what her role was in all of this. All in all, I would say my expectations were met.

I have always been fascinated by what makes a villain become a villain in the first place. Therefore, it's not surprising that one of the things I enjoyed most about this book was learning how Gabe came to be the way that he is. The author allows us to witness Gabe's transformation from victim to predator. By doing this, she manages to humanize Gabe more to the reader. Don't get me wrong, he is still a vile man, but he wasn't always. He was made that way by the man who was suppose to love, nurture, and protect him above all else.

If you thought Gabe was a complete lunatic, you haven't seen anything yet! Hannah is a whole other level of crazy. Not only does she barely have a grip on reality, but she is violent, deceitful, manipulative, selfish, impulsive, irrational, sadistic, and perverse. Honestly, Hannah makes Gabe look almost tame in comparison. He constantly has to calm her down, and reason with her to prevent her from behaving rashly. Hannah only becomes more and more unstable as the book progresses. That being said, if there was ever a perfect woman for Gabe, it's Hannah. She loves him and understands him like no one else ever will. They feed off of one another's madness and obsession. Above all, Gabe and Hannah are perfectly matched when it comes to their propensity for deviant sexual behavior. Be prepared to be uncomfortable. There are definitely some nausea inducing moments between these two.

The reason I couldn't give this a full five stars is because it was totally unrealistic to me that War would just hand over his daughter to Gabe the way that he did. Gabe is the man that Additionally, some of the things Hannah and Gabe say to each other come out sounding slightly cringe worthy.

Despite my problems with this story, it was still a decent addition to the series. I was sucked into the story right away, mostly due to the fantastic, addictive quality of the writing. The characters are shocking, fascinating, and deeply disturbed. The plot is incredibly well paced, never allowing a dull moment, and the ending leaves you hungry for the next book in the series. I will be continuing on with the next book as soon as possible.

OMFG!!! THIS BOOK! AHHH….THIS BOOK IS THE BEST!!! YES, THIS BOOK IS BLOODY FUCKING AMAZING AND TWISTED!!!!! AND OH YEAH, K.WEBSTER IS AN EVIL BRILLIANT GENIUS. ALL HAIL K.WEBSTER AND HER CRAZY DARK MIND. (fyi.. Yes, bold shouty caps are needed in this review)

This Isn’t Over, Baby is not for the faint of heart. This is not your lovey dovey romance. There is no prince charming or white knight in shining armor unless you consider your Prince Charming to be a crazy obsessed killer who loves to whip you into submission. So yeah, even villains need love and this villain known as Gabe needs his own perfect mate. A queen to match his craziness and dark side. Or in this case, a much crazier lover who takes rage and killing to another level.

photo 3e1b8160b506750b7daefd594436b8_zpsafbvn1mh.gif “But everything happened. That night, I transformed. I became someone better. I became my own monster.”

Gabe is one of a kind. He is cunning. He is duplicitous. He is insidious. He is ruthless. He is a killer. He is today’s literary modern version of Hades. And this Hades needs his very own Persephone. And boy oh boy did he find his very own Persephone. This woman who stole Gabe’s heart was everything. She was worth killing for. And of course, Gabe killed for her and fulfilled her craving for the dark side. But in this relationship, it is about give and take and his Persephone killed for him too. Can we say Gabe found his soulmate? Absofuckinlutely.

photo 3e1b8160b506750b7daefd594436b8_zpsafbvn1mh.gif “One look in his protective eyes, and I don’t feel an ounce of fear. He would kill for me. That’s what his eyes say. And he did. Twice.”

I know that I am being vague as to who the heroine is and how Gabe met her. Well, the best part of this book is the crazy messed up ride that K.Webster took her readers on. Literally, she took us down the proverbial rabbit hole where there is only one way out and that is through the eyes of Gabe and his girl. And let me just say, this is one journey that you will need to strap on and hold on tight as you will get assaulted with a bloody mess of craziness. And if you are a dark romance fan like myself, then you will be left begging for more.

#ThisIsntoverBaby1

Was this book twisted? Yes. Was this book dark? Umm, it’s Gabe’s story so of course it was dark. Was this book fucked up? Hell, yes! Was this book brilliant? YES!!!! This book was crazy but I fucking LOVED every minute of it it. And if you thought Gabe was fucked up, wait till you meet his girl. She took craziness and darkness to a whole new level. A part of me feels sorry for Gabe because he has to deal with her but he is truly the only person that can tame and control her darkness.

photo 3e1b8160b506750b7daefd594436b8_zpsafbvn1mh.gif “No, you’re my fuck doll, sweet girl. You’re my woman, my soul, my motherfucking other half. But you need them and you’ll do as I say, or I’ll force them down your throat just like I forced my cock down it.”

#ThisIOver2

I will say this one more time if you didn’t get the message. K.Webster is an evil genius. She has masterfully strung along readers on this crazy ride of mayhem, destruction, and twisted love. With her vivid and stunning prose, K. Webster creates and tells a visceral and palpable love story that will have you on the edge of your seats. So are you ready to discover who is the lucky lady that stole Gabe’s heart, body, mind and soul? If so, get ready because their story isn’t over yet, baby?

photo 3e1b8160b506750b7daefd594436b8_zpsafbvn1mh.gif “My heart is full with this girl. Fuller than it ever has been before. I love her. But she’s making me fucking crazy. It’s time to domesticate my wild animal. I’m going to have to tie her ass up and teach her how to behave.”

This will be a no frills review because either way I try and write it up will divulge spoilers. BUT stock up on wine, go in blind and enjoy this f#cked up mother f#cker of a ride!!

"Gabe is this dark thunderstorm that came up over my horizon, decimated everything in his path, and swept me away with his torrential presence.
Who needs light when the dark nourishes your entire being?”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic “He doesn’t look like he’d be Zeus or Poseidon.
No, Gabe looks like he could be Hades.
Splattered with the blood of his enemies.
Evil and sinister, yet powerful and protective.
Knows what he wants and destroys all those in his path.
And I could be Persephone.
He could steal me away and take me to the underworld where I belong”

The more books of this authors I read I always lose a piece of myself each time as I take steps into the unknown darkness, the sick and twisted minds of her characters leave me numb, but then it never stops me jumping through hoops like an addict to read another of her books.

"I'm not just fragile. I was broken since the day I was born. You can't destroy what's already smashed and fragmented."

3 Ridiculously OTT psychotic stars

WTF did I just read??
 photo whatthefuck_zpsjrhi4kyn.gif
I was going to give this one a 2/2.5 rating but the last 15% was good enough to raise it to 3.

So I started this book and right off the bat I was like WTF!! It was a dark and twisted way to start and I was a little lost trying to remember who Hannah and Gabe were as there was no reminders or recaps from the previous books.

Hannah, lets get this out there now................
 photo crazyevilbitch_zps7qzmqynx.gif
Yes you are Psychotic and need to be locked up!!

At the start of the book she takes herself off to a college party hoping to pop that cherry. She finds herself in a very bad situation and in walks Gabe to rescue her and thats where it just goes down hill for me.
I love a dark twisted tale but it has to be done well, this just crossed a line for me and went OTT so much so it was laughable.

 photo dinolaugh_zpsknjcyp5i.gif

A book for me has to be in some way believable, even if it is horrible things happening but this for me was no way believable. I kept thinking..........
 photo WTFareyoudoing_zpsnbcsdgcv.gif

I am having trouble figuring out what to say on this one as you can tell LOL.

To sum up, the beginning was okay, the middle was ridiculous and the ending was good.

Would I recommend this book? NO

Will I read the next one? Maybe

I absolutely hated HATED HATED HATED the two main characters in this one!

Moreover, I think that the majority of the characters in this book should have been on meds and/or committed to a psychiatric hospital.

Over the top behavior, completely unbelievable so many times.
Crazy talking and acting.

On the bright side, it is nice that Gabe -the Indestructible, the Undying, the Everlasting - has finally found someone who understands him and she is more lunatic than him (yes, this is sarcasm).

On the gloomy side, it is not nice that War and Bay's HEA from the previous book was distorted.

I liked the story, but only as a example of how much the human behaviour can be pushed to its extremes.

I was struggling thinking whether I should give 4-5 stars or just 1 star and just forget the rest of the series, but I have decided that the story is just too unique to be unnoticed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This book is batshit crazy and I loved every second of it.

Another pleasurable Buddy read with Cassandra.

I hate to say I’ve drunk the koolaid but maybe it’s because he thinks she’s his daughter so he treats her so sweetly that makes me wonder if he doesn’t deserve to get the girl. (Shakes my head) Only Kristi is capable of this phenomenon.

Oh man, talk about a full circle when War’s blood saved his daughter.

Hannah really reminds me of Adriel from RIP by Charity B but I don’t think Hannah is schizophrenic. I can’t quite pinpoint what her diagnosis is but I feel like she either lacks a conscience or is able to ignore it when she wants.

I’m pretty sure they’re soulmates if they don’t kill each other first.

This one was like 80% smut, 15% violence and 5% plot but you won’t see me complaining, far from it.

Then it came to a blazing conclusion that totally left me salivating for more. I have no idea what’s going to come next but I know it’s going to be an insane ride.

So... This may have been the craziest K. Webster book I've ever read. Like Charity B level of craziness. (Edit: Cognati is the darkest. This is close second.)

I don't even know where to begin without spoiling it. It's literally a villain love story in all its glorious fuckedupness. However, you do need to read book 1 and 2 to completely enjoy this book and understand the depravity of the male MC.

And the heroine? She's crazy.

The high rating? Because I enjoyed it the fuck a lot.

Disturbingly good. Be ready, because this book is not for the faint-hearted. This story will make crazy with lust, dizzy with all the angst, and desperate for more.

I starling falling dangerously in love with this author's brilliance with the first book and by this third installment of the War and Peace series, I was craving the dark excitement she gives us readers, with every fiber in my body.

Because villains need love too, right?
Well in this book this statement is taken to a whole other level. Gabe who we know as the crazy, kidnapper from the previous books is the center of this new story. We learn more about Gabe's past and about the events that happened in his childhood that shaped him into the man he is. I really enjoyed reading those chapters about his early life because while dark and brutal, they give his character humanity. The guy I had despised in the two prior books was a victim in his own right, and not that excuses him from his foul behavior, but it certainly makes you understand the story better.

Gabe had been living close to his victim for years now, watching her family and specially the little girl he believes to be his, Hannah.

 photo D69F4EB8-1FC6-4F46-B412-CDA417081F54_zpsbkotxaza.jpg

Years later Hannah is almost eighteen, her whole life she's felt out of place and misunderstood by everyone around her. She's not like other girls her age, she's broken, unhinged, the chemicals in her brain make her think and act in very wicked ways.

If Gabe was her mother's punisher in the past, now he becomes Hannah's dark angel, one night saving her from a terrible situation. The brutality of this event bonded these two characters, in what will become the start of a very provoking relationship.

This book had me so twisted that I felt like if I should be reading it in secret, constantly looking over my shoulder, as if I was afraid I'd get caught doing something illicit. The things that happen in this book are very dark, bloody and downright sinful, yet I love reading it so much.

It's very impressive how this author made me love this crazy characters, specially Gabe. I had so much disdain for him, but the more I read, the more I crave his wicked ways.

I will crown author K. Webster the queen of the dark and wicked. Hail to the queen!!!

This third instalment was one very disturbing read!!! Basically, this is the love story of two psychos! I’m not exaggerating! The two main characters were nuts, and took joy and pleasure from pain... whether it be theirs or others. I guess villains need love too; and this is definitely a story for the bad guys/girl!!!

I went into this series knowing it was dark! What I loved about book two was that there was a balance between dark and light! It helped me to enjoy it more and it gave me butterflies and good feelings during parts of the story. With this one, there are no gushy, lovey scenes!!! They are mostly gruesome, disturbing etc. I will admit though it was interesting to hear Gabe’s past, and why he is the way he is. It was great insight into how he became so screwed up. ( Gabe is the bad guy in book one and two!).

Even though this wasn’t my favourite, it was an amazing read. I still am completely captivated by this series! Just know that when it has the warnings that it’s dark... they ain’t lying! The motto of this series should be: “Expect the unexpected!!!”

5 What did I just read stars

K. Webster books are messed up. I thought I read messed up books, but this one. This one is hands-down MESSED UP and you know what?! I LOVED IT!

This Isn’t Over, Baby is the third book in the War and Peace series. This book focuses on Gabe.

I liked Gabe in the first two books. I liked him a lot, not as much as Warren, but pretty close. Gabe is a unique character, he has done horrible things, but he’s passionate. He’s also very passionate about his daughter, Hannah.

Gabe has watched Hannah grow up from the time she was a little girl to now as an adult. The thing that I enjoyed about this book was that there were no rules. Basically whatever crazy messed up thing K. Webster could think of, it kind of went into this book.

We get glimpses to Gabe’s past and he kind of explains why he is the way he is. I still think he’s a bad guy, but I still like him as the Hero in this book, or I guess I should call him the anti-Hero.

But Gabe meets his match with Hannah and what a character she was. I was taken aback by her and I didn’t expect to read the things I read. She’s as crazy as Gabe is and probably more so. I really enjoyed how much Gabe and Hannah complimented each other. He seems to be her Ying to his Yang. I couldn’t imagine a better pairing.

I love K. Webster’s writing style. It’s a no fuss, no muss kind of writing. Everything has a point and there are no fillers. I felt like I got a well-rounded and messed up read. It was exactly I was looking for.

P.S. Love the cucumber and Daddy references, it wouldn’t be a K. Webster book without those.

P.S.S. I’m still holding out on hope that K. Webster will write another book with more Baylee and Warren. They are still my favorite couple.

It's no secret that I love dark romance and especially a well drawn out anti hero. The thing is though on the flip side of that I need the female lead to have some characteristics which I can like or empathise with. I read a story similar to this a little while back and in that book although I couldn't understand her way of thought process she had qualities which made her human and quite endearing even with her twisted logic in her actions. This female lead was horrible she was downright nasty and malicious. I know she was mentally ill but her thoughts and actions were so filled with hate and jealousy that I found her repulsive. I know the male lead was no prince but he had a few qualities that made him feel human, he did love his daughter Brie and even though he didn't love his wife he did admit that he had cared about in his own way (he would have killed her too at some point) I just can't get over how unlikeable this female lead was she was an emotional wreck with severe mental issues but I still LOATHED her and she ruined an otherwise really good twisted dark book.

fuckin unbelievable fucked up shit!!!

I hate that guy...Gabe, i fuckin hate you, you sick old fart...

And Hannah, what the fuck is that? She 's like a freak show on maniacal spree...

I didnt like this book...

Not because of the twisted fuckery and murderous shit they pulled but because it looked so unrealistic and absurd, it became a farse with disfigured caricatures instead of characters

First of all, she had to be fuckin crazy to fall for a twisted old fart like Gabe...i mean really, most of the time i wanted to gag from the thought of an old shriveled dick...(i mean, the guy is like 60 years old and she's barely 18???!!!!, for fuck's sake, i dont buy it even if they are both deeply fucked up...i just dont buy that shriveled up shit!!!)

And they were both so despicable, i ve never read a book where i fuckin hated the main characters...

But the worst part is the actual reference of NATURE vs. NURTURE spreading along the story that just didnt hold the whole theory Hannah tried to slip through...

we are supposed to feel sorry for her ass or what?!

No way, for me she was just sick and she should have been comitted and locked up a long time ago along with the sick psycho creeper Gabe....

Besides her condition wasn't credible as neither nature or nurture issue...she was a major fuck up, even though she could have been a product of conditioning since she saw the effects of her father's disease but it was definitely not hereditory as she portrayed it.

No excuse for her actions on that account.

But for me, neither of the options given weren't credible or valid...and from that point it all went to shit...

Gah, i had so many issues with this story i think i was nurtured into crazy fucked up shit too...

And still, the goddamned mother fucker didnt die...

Un-fuckin-believable!!!

I rest my case...

This Isn’t Over, Baby is not a book for everyone. But it was just the book for this reader. Holy fuck. K. Webster. I don’t know if I want to hug you or question if you need to seek professional help.

When I started book This is War, Baby – I was so torn over Gabe. I didn’t know there was going to be another love interest at first, so I tried to reason that he’ll redeem himself somehow. So it really took me a while to come to terms with my feelings on Gabe. I hated him, but he sort of made me tingle in places. By the time I finished book two, I came to terms with the fact that Gabe was not redeemable, but there was still something about his brand of crazy that made me feel like there was this small sliver of something in him that wasn’t pure evil. K. Webster tried her best to snuff out that sliver though.

Gabe is driven solely by obsession. As we get a glimpse into his early years we see where that monster is created. But we aren’t just a product of how we are raised. We are given choices along the way and Gabe made his choices every single day.

Now, I am not going to dive into who ends up being his love interest. I can tell you it is taboo as fuck and although it was probably not supposed to be hot, it was a little bit hot.

This Isn’t Over, Baby is not a book for every reader. This book is dark and twisted and so fucked up. But K. Webster nailed it. She created characters that you should hate, but yet there was something about them that you just couldn’t fully hate. They aren’t redeemable. There is no second chances for them. But they found a way to live and love in the dark.

Heed the warnings. But if you can open your mind to the idea that even the most horrible and evil of characters can find love; you might just be surprised at what you discover.

I buddy read this book with Trish.

Trigger Warning: This is a dark romance series and there are scenes that will make you cringe. This series isn't for everyone.

WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK. I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I'VE JUST READ.

I don't really know what to feel about this book because it's about Gabe Sharpe, the villain of the series. I hate him with burning passion for all the things he'd done on the previous books. We get to know his past that mold him into a ruthless monster. As much as I want to sympathize with his character, I just can't. He's a total psychopath with desires that are against the norms. He's a sick, twisted son of a bitch Despite of my hate for him, he is an impressive anti-hero.

This is by far the darkest book in the series. His love interest.. omfg don't get me started. They are both villains craving for love. I never thought the heroine will be this crazy and dangerous. Hell, she's DEADLIER than Gabe. So lethal and dangerous, I can't even. Their love story is just INSANE but so good..I'm supposed to hate them right?! The last chapters put me on the edge of my seat. SERIOUSLY. K. Webster is just so bloody brilliant on putting mind blowing twists.

Oh dear lawhd, what did I just read?!?

I knew I was gonna be in for one heck of a crazy train ride with this one, but it’s nowhere near what I expected. It veered off off off left that all I could do was hold on tightly to the sane part of my brain. Mind officially f*cked!

This is after all about the “bad guy”. The “bad guy” in the first 2 books in this series, with no morals and did despicable things. Yet, the same “bad guy” that you can’t help but be intrigued by… say wut?!

It really is best to just dive in and not poke around other reviews too much. From beginning to end, it’s a crazy ride. I know I’ve said that already. I finished this a few days ago and my mind still can’t fully wrap around how crazy this ride was, HAH!

Here, Kristi gave me a better context to the evil that is Gabe. Did it humanize him? I think it did. Did it turn him from bad to at least some kind of antihero? You tell me! Then we meet Hannah. There’s no doubt that she’ll go down in my reading history as one of the most unhinged heroines. There’s nothing redeeming about her yet I can’t bring myself to hate her. There’s definitely something to be said when both H&h(?) are equally crazy. It levels out the playing field somewhat... hmmm...

I had to purposely make myself forget the age of these 2 constantly to make things a tad(?) more palatable. The ending is almost predictable in its craziness. It was interesting to see War and Baylee again. And the epilogue nicely(?) opens up future stories.

Take the warning seriously in this book. There are a lot of triggers here and stomach-churning events. If you’re a fan of really dark erotic reads, this will be up your alley, I think. If you like dark with some kind of threshold like me, this will push your limits. If you’re a fan of crazy reads, then this is definitely for you.

The way I see it, in Hannah, Gabe found his salvation and comeuppance. I’d leave it at that...

Kristi, you are one devious writer!!!

4 Twisted stars.

I belong to Hades.
I am Persephone.

Where to start? I have no effing idea because this book was so... wrong, so fucked up, so dark I didn't know whether I liked it or not half of the time.

So I'll try to go through my mental steps and see if I manage to cover everything.

Writing Style: undoubtedly, Webster has a way with words that is gripping and compelling. I like how she's really focused on the here-and-now, on the actions, but at the same time manages to delve so deep into her character's mind that the reader is unable to extract herself/himself from those dark recesses.

Plot: as plots go, this didn't have that many twists and turns, mysteries or so. It's pretty clear what is happening and the main focus is on the two MCs and their interactions.

Gabriel: I was so skeptical before starting because I hadn't exactly loved him. Or, more accurately, I'd liked him as the bad guy, but didn't see myself falling for him the way I usually do with male MCs. Truth is, I didn't fall for him. I didn't wish to be the h (Thanks Belzebù for that!). But that was okay, because I enjoyed the book for other reasons. Anyway, Gabe's character is complex. At the very beginning we are shown what made him into the damned soul he is nowadays and it was interesting. Besides that, it freaked me out both his age (compared to Hannah. He's like, sixty... and she's barely 18. O.o) and how he was the voice of reason compared to her. Anyway, his was a well-shaped character with enough lucidity for the reader to understand the reasons behind his actions.

Gabe is this dark thunderstorm that came up over my horizon, decimated everything in his path, and swept me away with his torrential presence.

Hannah: she was unexpected. From the blurb, I'd had no clue about what she'd be like, but I was honestly not expecting her to be a psycho, something that is clear from almost the very beginning. I swear, Gabe compared to her is like Saint Mark, or some other Holy something. She's completely off the rail, cuckoo, crazy, wild beyond comprehension. Frankly, she was Gabe's perfect match. Webster couldn't have created a more fitting couple, but I didn't love her. I actually kind of hated her. Not at the beginning, but when she really started spiraling, it all felt too unrealistic. And I know that realism is not the strong suit of this series, but I liked how I could at least relate to some parts of War and Baylee. With her I didn't feel invested in her character and she annoyed me.
Also, it made me sad to think that such a horrible person could be the result of something so pure as War and Baylee's love. Moreover, I couldn't see a future for her and Gabe. Their age gap was too wide for them to have a future together. When he'll be eighty, she'll be in her late thirties. Plus, they can't really function in society. From how she's portrayed, you just know that she'll keep snapping and bad things are going to happen.

War: one of the things that got me so excited before starting this was the prospect of reading something more about my beloved War. Unfortunately, his character's part was minimal and completely out-of-character. His acceptance of Gabe and Hannah's relationship left me speechless, as well as his levels of forgiveness when it comes to Hannah. From her retelling of her relationship with War, she's pictured like his little girl who could do no wrong even if she screws us every chances she gets. And he keeps forgiving her and making excuses for her... I didn't buy all the bullshit about how "he gets her", because War isn't a monster. His darkness is nowhere near Hannah's. So reading about him like this was like meeting a childhood friend you once fell in love with and finding out he's become a totally different person, a shadow of himself.

Baylee: I loved her strong character in the duet and was hoping, as I already said, to read more about her with War. Instead, she's portrayed like this uncompromising, uptight woman in constant struggle with her daughter. Since this book is told from Hannah's POV (besides Gabe), her daughter had nothing good to say about her and even her actions the few times Baylee does something, do not match the woman I'd come to respect and adore in the first two books.

Now, I just realized that I've been bashing all the characters here and yet gave it four start. So why? Because this book was the darkest, grossest and most fucked up book I've ever read and it kept me glued to its pages with its originality. The characters, for how much I didn't appreciated most of them, were masterfully crafted, rounded, complex, their interactions always meaningful and spell-bounding. It doesn't hold a candle to the first two, but only because the love story it's not of the kind that makes you squeal with joy and crush over the H or h. It's raw and unrelatable, but the feelings are all there, perfectly showcased and represented.

So these four stars are for the amazing work Webster did in writing the Villain's story, for how absurd or cringe worthy. Plus, the next book is going to be about Bree, Gabe's innocent daughter, and Ren, Hannah's brother, who I really liked in this book. From the blurb it sounds something similar to a Romeo and Juliet story and I'm super thrilled to see what Webster has in story for us on that front

Holy F**k! I don't even know what that was I just read. K Webster is a master at dark and twisted. I thought she already set the bar with the first two books in this series, but I was so wrong. This one was above and beyond the others.

When this book came out, I saw many reviews where people were falling for Gabe. Gabe! Really?! After meeting Gabe in This Is War, Baby & This Is Love, Baby, I honestly couldn't understand how anyone could do a 180 and like him. He is the bad guy after all. So, I put this book on the back burner. I couldn't read this book until I mentally got ready for it. I thought I was and jumped right in. Once again, I was wrong. I was not expecting this book at all.

So, we know Gabe was hiding in the dark, watching and waiting until he felt the time was right to take what was his, Hannah. He's been watching Baylee and War raise their family for the last seventeen years or so. They now have three children, Hannah, Ren and Caulder. Gabe's watched all of them grow up right under him.

Hannah is about to graduate high school. She decides to go to a party with a friend while her parents are in Italy. Unfortunately she becomes the victim of two older colleges guys who drug her, take her to a house and rape her. Before the night is over, a strange man, Gabe, comes to her rescue, killing the rapists and taking her home to be taken care of.

"This isn’t over, baby,” he assured me. “It’s only just begun.”

Hannah immediately feels a connection Gabe and wants to spend all of her free time with him. Gabe is happy because he finally gets to spend time with his "daughter." He even tells her who he really is and all about his past. We get to know how Gabe came to be the man he is. Hannah becomes infatuated with Gabe, trying to cross a line that shouldn't be crossed. Gabe has to be the reasoning voice in this situation. I never would have guessed I'd see Gabe in that role.

Hannah is crazy though. I thought for sure when Gabe told her who he was, that she'd back off, but this little bundle of crazy only got crazier. It seems fun at first, but Gabe realizes that Hannah needs to be medicated and he can only get the medicine from her parents. This can only lead to an interesting ending.

"I’ll follow you anywhere. Even into the darkness. Especially, into the darkness."

I know this review doesn't say a lot about what's going on, but you have to read this one for yourself. Decide for yourself who's crazier. I can't say I loved Gabe, by the end of this story, but I did feel a tad bit sorry for him. He thought he knew what crazy was before, but he had no clue until Hannah. I'm so torn and twisted over this book. It really pushed my comfort zone at first, but K Webster continued to pull me in until I was the captive of this story. I had to keep reading to see what would happen. I couldn't help myself, I became addicted to this book and if you like dark and twisted tales, you will too.

At the end of book #2 we pretty much know something wicked is coming. It's even worse than anyone could have ever predicted! Unsure what War & Peace did in their past lives to earn this kind of karma...

The Good:
1. This is the most perverse, and disturbed thing I've ever read while enjoying every minute of it! Normally a lot of things explored in this book would earn zero stars, rant-y reviews, or both from me. It might be easier to take because this reads as comic book inspired versus gritty realistic.

description
2. Speaking of that, a lot of this reminded me of the memed version of Harley Quinn and the Joker. This is an epic, but disturbed love story that disavows anything related to the actual storylines in the comics that say different.

3. We finally get Gabe's backstory and it explains a lot. You understand him but there is no attempt to change him into something softer. He is still the same psychopathic alphahole we are still disturbed to find so attractive. The flashback scenes were much more effective this time, giving glimpses of relationships unexplored in previous installments.

4. The kink is next level hot and extreme.

5. I found myself more emotionally invested in this installment of the series. Yes parts of this is almost campy, yet the characters are very well developed. Another part of the magic is how it delves in the dark, engages your heart, but without drowning readers in angst.

6. The writing is way above the expectations of pure book porn. Detail scraps were dropped, picked up, and contributed to hearty plot meals further along.

7. It didn't end in an abrupt cliffhanger. It felt like a new beginning to a previously unexplored story arc.

The Bad:
description
1. This whole series is a trigger warning nightmare in itself. Even if you made it through the other two, book three might do you in. I don't want to spoil too much in my review so keeping things pretty vague purposely. If you PM me, will go into more detail.

Final Thoughts:
It feels like I just got off a roller coaster. My adrenaline is so high right now after finishing this book! This is the exact reason why I became a fan of dark erotica. That being said, this one most definitely isn't for everybody.

3.5 stars

I have no idea what I just read and I'm pretty certain that I'll need to see my therapist stat.

In all seriousness this book is completely fucked up with a capital F. But what did I expect with Gabe. What he thought was going on (even though it wasn't) was so entirely disgustingly messed up.

Two psycho deranged people who are meant for eachother. I had to let go of War to get through this one but it was made easier because he didn't have a big role and we weren't in his head.

I gave it 3.5 stars but I'm not sure that's accurate because wrapping my head around the situation just isn't happening. I love dark romances so it's not that. I have no idea....

I’ll follow you anywhere. Even into the darkness. Especially, into the darkness.

This is a dark readers delight. This was a twisted casserole, everything dumped into a pan melding together in dark deliciousness. I was one of those crazy readers that loved Gabe in all his sick ways, to say I was excited for his story is a complete understatement. I said, oh, Gabe, I love your statistic ways. Please, Gabe, don't mess with War, I might get angry with you. But this story was totally not what I had expected. K. Webster went there, she took a u-turn into batshit crazyville and I loved every single bit.

"LOVE IS A WICKED little creature. It slithers into your life and sinks its teeth into you whether you like it or not. Love doesn’t care about morals or social norms or familial boundaries. Love takes whatever the fuck it wants."

This book is a perfect DARK ROMANCE!! Both main characters are villains... Yet Gabe has this little bit of light in him, I can't help but love everything about him. He's twisted perfection. He's deliciously dark. He's insanely sadistic. He's unapologetic in all ways. He's at the top of my favorite villains list. And he's met his match. He's claimed someone as dark as he is, maybe darker. Most definitely darker. She's gives him a run for his money. I was laughing all the way to the bloody bank. I'm not saying her name because of spoilers. But she's just as insane as he is. These two are one fucked up pair.

“I’m not just fragile. I was broken since the day I was born. You can’t destroy what’s already smashed and fragmented. All I’ve been searching for, my entire life, was someone to hold all the pieces together. Even if they had to bleed a little in the process. I thought you were that person, Gabe.”

“I. Am. That. Person.”

This wouldn't be a K. Webster book without the ups and downs, the twists and turns. Unpredictable is her name, twisting your thoughts is her game. You could probably read this one as a stand-alone, but I recommend reading the entire series, every one is just as good as the next. Deliciously disturbing and completely addictive. I loved it.

Some nightmares simply won’t die. Some nightmares will haunt you until your last breath.

First I want to start off saying I loved the previous books in this series beyond words. As much as I’m not a dark read fan, Kristi made me fall in love with her dark twisted stories.

As much as I disliked Gabe in the previous books, I looked forward to his side of the story. I knew it would be something else entirely.

And I feel bad to say this was a big disappointed. So many things felt off that I just couldn’t get into this story completely.

Due to the previous two books, we get so invested in the characters Baylee and War, and seeing how their little girl turns out, it just fucked with my emotions.

She annoyed the EVERLOVINGSHITOUTOFME Like I swear, she made Gabe look like an angel, and trust me he was the biggest devil in my eyes.

Throughout the book, I just got so disturbed with Hannah. It made it so hard for me to finish. If this wasn’t a KW book, I would have kept it on DNF

I also missed that crazy bastard in Gabe we saw in the previous books. I felt like he did a 180 on us, which I didn’t expect from a strong character such as Gabe.

Not only did Hannah annoy me to death, it was also how the story progressed. There were a lot of moments with revelations that just felt so unfinished. So many times I felt like the book was just scenes stuck together, without a transition in between, which I never expected from Kristi.

Seeing all these 5 star ratings makes me question my own judgement tbh.
I was doubting if I should give this book a rating, but I felt that it wouldn’t be fair. I think my review says enough.

I am still looking forward to the next books in this series, that last chapter did grab my attention and made me curious!
