This is a library bounded book and I have only this one the rest are hardcovers and paperbacks, so it was great to have a library bounded book but greater when it was a biography of Desert Fox!

Simply it is a nice book. No bias and no big words. After Napoleon, Rommel took my vast enthusiasm as a favourite in highly disciplined personalities. I really admire both of them for the good works they have attached to them. I know and happily read their downsides too.

The introduction is by Casper Weinberger, a prestigious American lieutenant in WW2 and secretary of state under Regan Era! Highly respected in politics. I think he wrote a very good introduction to both Rommel and why we need to understand and master military not to wage wars but to save democracies in itself from fascists.
