Still haunted by echoes of a demonic voice, Elijah becomes a fugitive from his own life. Hostile and reclusive, he discovers the next clue leading to the three missing pieces of armor, but it may be too late. Elijah is trapped. His family and friends don't know where he is, and two from beyond this world are watching Elijah and vying for his soul.

The search for the armor of God reaches a critical point; Elijah and his friends finally discover the shocking truth about the Stallards. And the whole armor, which has moved across continents and through time to an unbelievable hiding place, is waiting to be reawakened and activated.

While reading this one to my students, there was a daily “KEEP READING” shouted at me each time I stopped or was just shy of our designated reading time even when a chapter was done.
I really like how Elijah learns to distinguish God’s voice over that of the enemy’s, such an important differentiation that was helpful to explain to my students especially in the tone conveyed. A continued good introduction to the reality of the heavenly realms and all it contains. Also love the beginning of a missions story beginning to take root in the characters!

My dad read this series first and loved it (he is almost 50). I really loved this series. I would read a chapter or two to my sisters before bed (4 girls, ages 5-12) and they loved the series so much that they want me to read it to them again. It is griping, with a strong Christian foundation. We met the author at the International Conference on Missions (ICOM) last year, she was very nice.

This whole series is really pretty good, not just for a Christian series, but as a whole. Sure, it gets a little cheesy at some points, but all-in-all, it's really good and easy to relate to.
