Too many people allow themselves to be limited by their ideas about themselves and the world around them. Bob Frissell reminds readers that they create their own reality through their consciousness and that improving this reality and living a fuller life is simply a matter of broadening one's perspectives. In this book, he shows people how to reconnect with their multidimensional selves and remake their lives.
Bob Frissell, the founder of The Breath of Life (Breathwork & Integrative Healing), is the world-renowned author of “Nothing In This Book Is True, But Its Exactly How Things Are.” He also teaches the The Flower of Life Workshop (Sacred Geometry & the MerKaBa). Trained by Jim Leonard, originator of the Five Elements, Leonard Orr, creator of Rebirthing-Breathwork, and Drunvalo Melchizedek, originator of the MerKaBa and Unity Breath Meditations, Bob facilitates workshops and is available for private sessions.
I think that often most of us get a little stuck in our human condition and forget our divine nature. Instead of seeing ourselves as an integral part of the universe, we begin thinking that we need to achieve something, be something, or gain something in order to be significant. Then, when things don't turn out the way we think that they should, we begin the blame game. The world isn't fair. He is the cause of my problems. She did this to me. It's all their fault.
We simply don't see that we are everything we need. We don't see that each day is an opportunity to recognize and embrace the possibilities. We don't recognize that we are an important part of something much bigger.
You Are a Spiritual Being Having a Human Experience looks at several aspects of the human experience. It seeks to remind each of us that we are spiritual beings. It also aims to educate each of us in our responsibilities for ourselves, our world, and our collective evolution.
I randomly came upon this as part of a box of books I purchased on a lark. This was truly different. I don't know that I can agree and appreciate what he's saying about other races. Some of the ideas of energy and thought are similar to other inspirational books about proactive thinking. In this regard, it's a descent read.
I have to say the other parts about Martians, Sirians, and archangels is a little harder for me. Reads a little like fiction, somewhere between Hitchhiker's guide meets Paradise lost, but not quite as entertaining as either.
This book was a great refresher course after reading Drunvalo Melchizedek, and it rekindled my interest in religious mysticism. This book just rings true to me.
Read this book get over the cheesy diagrams of universal configurations and attempts at temporal explanations of man's evolution towards inter-planetary excellence.
Life is a current of cold-numbing water that lulls into docile serentity...
Get over it. That's not the way to live. Stop "going with the flow" ignore the "status quo" make your life what you want it to be.
This book is extraordinarily short-thus, you can skim the extra-dimensional algorhythms and get into the discussion of how to grab life by its love handles.
I never got through this years ago when I attempted it, the reason being that it was just a carbon copy of Frissell's earlier book, Nothing in This Book Is True... Truly, there might have been some different arrangements of words in sentences, but I felt that precisely nothing new was said. That being the case, if you stumble on this one without having read the other one, there's really nothing wrong with it on its own.
