Kate is ready for a lifelong commitment with her fiancé, Julian, until Sam came along. He's immature, promiscuous, and unreliable, among other things. She is well-aware that he is wrong for her in every way but there is something about him that just makes her want to get closer. Since she's always been faithful, she tries her best to resist him but an insane idea pops into her head. What if she indulges in a little fun before marriage and throws herself an extended bridal shower, but with only one guest? Sam. Just to see what it's like to not always do the right thing. No one ever has to know. She will keep it short and end it just before it gets serious. After all, who in her right mind would let herself fall for the wrong guy? Others, probably. But definitely, not her.
