When T found her on the side of the road, the last thing on his mind was love. As Sergeant at Arms of The Lost Brothers MC, it is his job to protect his brothers as well as those of the community outside the club too. Being a guardian is his nature and he’ll help someone who is in trouble without a second thought. Therefore, when he sees something fall on the highway there’s no doubt in his mind about stopping and checking it out. T isn’t one to believe in love but when she opens her big brown eyes, his world shifts and won’t be the same again.
Life has not been easy for Molly. When she was little, she got sick and never got better. She knew her life wasn’t like everyone else’s; after all, she dressed differently, didn’t go to school, and was still under her parent’s thumb at the age of 24. But on the side of a road in the cold of night, scared and alone for the first time, her whole life changes. Molly is no stranger to passing out, waking up in a room full of men, however, is a different situation all together. Looking around, she can’t help but be scared until her gaze meets the deep blue eyes above her. From that moment, she knew that, no matter what happened next, she would be okay.
The night T and Molly met; they were in very different places. One thought he’d lost the ability to love while the other never thought she would get the chance. Together can they prove themselves wrong? Can Molly escape from her protected world? Can T let go of the past and take down his walls? Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
Even though it's a MC book there's absolutely NO ow drama. I love how from the moment he saw her fell for her. Heroine went from being weak to being strong. Her parents were awful people. The way they'd treated her since she was a kid.
Hopefully Dom's and lizzy's book will be safe from ow drama too. If it is I'll read it.
I thought this was a good debut. Kept me interested from start to finish. Loved how the hero knew he wanted the heroine from the first moment he saw her and never wavered. Also liked that wasn't any OW drama which is rare for a MC romance. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
HEA Cheating/OW/OM Any push/pull Any couple separation Angst Level: Low Heat Level: High
So, I'm in a bit of a quandary about this book. On the one hand, this book needs some work. The editing is ridiculous. I have since seen on the author's facebook page she is re-editing it and putting it back out. I'm glad...it desperately needs it. The writing itself needs work. I realize this is the author's debut novel so I'm going to cut her a little slack there.
On the other hand, I did like the overall storyline and kudos to her keeping me invested enough that I HAD to know what was going to happen and how all this played out. I also liked that as far as the club goes, even though they were not saints by any stretch of the imagination, it was low key. No club whores hanging around causing drama (they are mentioned but no appearances) and no ow/om either. There is some pretty gruesome violence though at the end if you're squeamish. I loved how T was smitten with Molly right away since I'm an INSTA kind of gal. And as I said before, the actual storyline involving Molly and her parents was different. There were just so many things that needed working out that could have made it a better story in my humble opinion.
So, 2 stars because it needs an editor and beta reader and I'll add another half star for keeping me interested but I'll round up because I want to encourage the author to keep trying.
I enjoyed how different this story seemed- even with the same typical MC elements involved. I'm glad the author gave a medical history to the h that was one I had never heard of before. It was definitely interesting. I loved Ant with Molly, and T with both Molly and Ant. I loved Spike, and I liked Wiz and Peeler.
I didn't mind the fast claiming and relationship. But I didn't always like how fast it seemed Molly changes as I didn't think the time jumps were done well. I also felt like parts of the story had been told and maybe I had missed out- but nope- as this is the first story. Maybe we will get what I felt was missing in other books. My only other complaint? Even though I see there was an editor - it still had editing issues. Which is plausible as not all errors are caught by authors when they go back through to fix these mistakes. Still- it did bother me.
Otherwise- I enjoyed this story. I look forward to knowing more about the MC brothers and T's sister.
I am really picky already and the book slump that has plagued me this year has been really bad but I have found some good ones as this year is coming to a close.
The heroine is named Molly aka Tiny. She is someone that is very sheltered and doesn't know much outside her family rules and their home. She ends getting left behind by her parents one day after being sick and tries to walk back home. She falls out and is found on the side of the road by the hero "T" aka Andrew. He takes her back to his club and helps her get better and show her a life without her parents strict upbringing.
This was MC book that had some criminal activity but also had some really sweet moments too. It didn't have any OW or OM drama. The hero was never portrayed as a man ho. It was good in that it did make you want to know the club and the other characters in the book. It had a balance in that it had some drama but nothing ott either. I liked the couple and loved that it was low angst and a good insta love book.
Highly recommend for those into MC books and insta love and who don't want a lot of angst.
I enjoyed the face paced insta love relationship. I liked the mystery and storyline. Even the H having a past wife wasn't a deal breaker it was done really well. But I felt like there were some character gaps that needed a little more development but I'm looking forward to reading more in this series
I love my MC books as a Biker myself; this book broke my heart, the things that Molly went through where unbelievable, at the hands of parents that are supposed to cherish their children. She is a sweet kind hearted young woman who has lived in a bubble of abuse. T the hard enforcer of the biker MC Lost bothers, see’s something fall down on a dark stretch of rd and investigates, what turns out is Molly, totally unconscious, taking her in his arms he takes her back to the club, the instinct to protect her kicks in. but why no one apart from his son stirs these feelings, the story from this point is a complicated web of deceit lies and disloyalty, can they work through her sickness and his need to be at the club, to stay together, can she accept what the club is and what they do to stay with him. Such an amazing story, that deserves to be on everyone’s TBR list. A truly heart-warming story of trust and loyalty, that T and Molly have.
Heroine was just too naive and sheltered for me. It was a sweet book but I did not connect to the MCs and had a very hard time understanding the hero's interest in the heroine.
Good story, interesting twist with heroine's sickness, but needed editing. The plot was good but it felt like some things were glossed over and others were too quickly over. Author shows promise.
It was a great story and it’s obvious you edited it or had it edited but you forgot to fix said edits. That made it hard to read, like really hard. Honestly besides that I would give it five stars. It was different and I liked it
A really good example of a MC book that is balanced. It still had a good relationship building and characters who seemed more than their tough guy personalities. The story line was paced really well and I fell in love with the heroine and the story behind her life.
Really wanted to like this one but I'm struggling to connect to the characters, I'm not really captivated by the story. Needs more character development, more meaningful pov's to help you connect and feel what they're feeling. DNF 31%.
This was just too fast, without enough context into each characters life, everything was pretty superficial and it was just not good. Didn’t even contain enough smut. Story was bland.
This was an ok read for me. I've read a lot of MC books and this one was quite tame to be in this genre. I'm use to more drama, club whores and lots more blood and gore. I will continue the series with Dom and Lizzie's book but I'm hoping it is a bit more put together.
I really really really enjoyed this book! There isn’t one thing that I dislike about this story, I was instantly gripped and soon found myself in love with every single character, except happy – he was a douche canoe. I devoured this book in one sitting and couldn’t put it down; I stayed up all night just to finish this book and was still left wanting more. I will definitely be reading this book again and again in the future. This story is easy to follow and a gripping read. I liked the instant chemistry between T and Molly, I loved that T had two sides, one side: T: was a mean and violent when needed. He was a take no messing type of man. And then there is the side that is Andrew: Andrew was the softer side of T, the loving father and boyfriend side. But despite having two sides he was still a tough biker. Ant is so cute! I loved the bond he quickly formed with Molly. I cannot wait for more from this series, I want Dom’s story now!
Whilst riding back to the clubhouse T spots what he thinks is an injured animal fall over and despite being knackered he stops to see if it is ok. What he doesn’t expect is for it to be a young woman. Not being able to just leave her there, he takes her back to the clubhouse and soon discovers that her name is Molly and she is older than he thought. Despite being alone and scared, Molly feels safe around the tough men she wakes up to find staring down at her. T has a gut feeling that something is wrong with Molly’s parents and her home life, that feeling is confirmed when he takes her home only to have Molly’s parents act like they don’t even know her. Not wanting to let her go, he takes her back to the clubhouse with him and is determined to look after her and get to know her, it isn’t long until T and his brothers discover that Molly is seriously ill and doesn’t know anything about her own illness. Although T has been hurt in the past there is something about Molly that calls to him and it isn’t long before he is announcing his claim to her. But with trouble happening in the club, Molly’s illness, a mole in the club and Molly’s parents T’s life is becoming hectic and it isn’t long until he discovers what Molly’s parents are up to that he can sort them out. Saving not only his club from the ongoing trouble but also keep Molly safe.
This book was a good read with an interesting plot and health issue. I enjoyed the story and T and Tiny were a cute couple. My only complaint is that it definitely needed another edit. There were quite a few misspelled words, wrong words used or grammar mistakes, however I will be looking forward to the next book.
This was a good book with a very good story. I enjoyed reading it, and here is the BUT. It could have been excellent. So many words in the wrong place and words missing. Maybe a few more read throughs by Beta readers will help with the next book. If these problems are fixed the next one should be 5* .
Loved this book. Biker romances are my favorite. Loved reading Molly's story. Would love to know what happens to them! Being a nurse loved the perspective on Molly's illness, so this makes me remember my old ER days.
