Sorry to see this trilogy end. Enjoyed the writing but got a bit confused sometimes with the switching of viewpoints and avenues of the war. It is probably best to read these books one after the other and not take too much time over them or you will forget the characters.
The pain, fear, blood, and death these survivors fought through, makes one question if they could do it. If a fourth book was part of this series, I would already be deep into it. You won't regret reading this series.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. The characters were well developed and believable. Makes one cringe at the thought of how quickly mankind devolves without their creature comforts.
Excellent story line. We’ll written. Could not put them down. I’d love to read more and see what happens to the characters. I feel there’s one more story there.
I couldn't wait to see how this all ended up. Just when Erik and Ted think they're in the clear, a group of prisoners invades! The Chinese, the Russians, and the Rebels get what's coming to them, and all the loose ends are tied up. I was sorry to see the story end!
It was very realistic, and as such, was very scary, seeing as how I could see it actually happening. Marcus Richardson is an edge-of-your-seat kind of writer...I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to see what happened next. Great characters, too. I loved Ted and Erik! And General Stapleton!!
However, this entire series is in dire need of a good editor! I'm an English teacher, and I found myself cringing at the lack of punctuation and the poor grammar. In many instances, the errors were so glaring that they completely disrupted the story and broke the spell. When an author grabs his reader, he shouldn't let him go until the last page s turned. Yet the errors constantly dragged me out of the story. He seriously needs to get this fixed before he writes anther novel!
