They find the truth about the night Jolene died, they also find evidence a man named, The Priest, who is after Sawyer. If Bane is a world class assassin, then the Priest is a world class torturer. He gets answers no one else can. Max had lost something valuable and he assumed Jolene took it. With Jolene gone, the only one who might know where this item is, is Sawyer- and she doesn't have a clue her mother took the item in the first place. Bane is back and he brings his son Michael to meet Cricket but he comes with more than just a visit in mind. He comes looking for something Orrin was given by their grandfather, a set of matching daggers hundreds of years old. Cricket doesn't have them but she doesn't want Bane to get them either. Who will end up with the daggers and which one of them will end up dead?

I live in a small town in Wisconsin. From my deck, I can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live and nest on the other side. I live with my husband Dave and dog Buddy. My two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. I love to watch people and that has helped me with my writing. I often use people I watch as characters in my books and I always try to give my characters some of my own values and habits.

I love to create characters and put them in a troubling situation then sit back and let them do all the work. My characters surprise even me at times. At some point in the book, they take on a life of their own and the twists and turns they create becomes the story. Of all the stories, I could write I found I like mystery/thrillers the best. I like to keep my readers guessing until the very end of the book.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Calico has finally found not only his daughter but someone else who he loved with his whole heart. The hunt is on for The Hand which mob boss, Leon, has to get back and it seems like Max has already hired The Priest to find it. The Priest is known for his techniques of torture to get the truth out of people and now Sawyer is on his list.

Bane is a busy man because he is also after something that the thinks Cricket knows of. Bane also brought his long lost son along so he could meet his half-sister he has heard about. Let’s just say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree with Michael. Michael made a big mistake by not only kidnapping Cricked but he took Jemmia as well. The hunt is on to see if the MC can get to Cricket and Jemmia in time.

Oh, so good now off to read Raine.

Enjoyed

I have blazed through this series. I thought I would have trouble remembering who was connected and how as the stories developed and layers where added but I have not. Can't wait to start the next series to see what happens.

This is the sixth book and it is not a standalone. While the story brings to a close some of the storylines, there are others that are just waiting to begin. Max is a leader for a branch of the mob based in Rochester, NY. He has hired a man, called The Priest, to retrieve information to lead to the whereabouts of an old treasure belonging to “the family” that was stolen from his possession. The Priest has sighted his mark and has been watching for over a year until he finally kidnaps her. Sawyer knew she was not to go out alone but disregarded her own safety and was taken by The Priest. Adding insult to injury, after many years and believing she was dead, Calico finds Jolee alive. However, there is one big problem, she has amnesia. When Jolee sees Calico, she feels something for him but does not understand why. As if that is not enough for the MC to deal with, Bane returns but he is not alone. He comes back with his son that he never even knew existed in an attempt to, once again, force Cricket to do something she does not want to do. The myriad of characters that the author uses to create her stories each have their own unique qualities that make one fall hard or want to strike out for what they put others through. This book will have anyone running through a gamut of emotion from elation to sadness to feeling gut punched. I highly recommend this book and the entire series.
I volunteered to read and advance copy of this book.

Well now I actually enjoyed this story. There was a whole lot going on, but it was good. The "Priest" was an interesting character I would like to know more about and I think we will too in the future. The author has added some interesting characters into the mix as well as new story lines.

I've mentioned this before and I guess I have to say it again...Sam has once again taken up the mantel of being an ass. Him and his son Deke are two of the most biggest asses. Please read this series and you will see why. They will definitely not let you down on the assery.

Really...Deke's suggestion to lock down the compound is a joke, because every time they've locked the compound down someone was able to get in. What a joke! Completely useless! They might as well keep the gates open and pull out the red carpet for the bad guys to come in. Not only that, why is it ***spoiler alert*** every time the compound goes on lock down the women feel the need to take a damn walk? What the F? Read a damn book, meditate, pray or play a damn game to clear your friggin mind. It's almost like they are completely clueless. Pending danger equals time to walk out in the open away from safety. Just plain stupid.

Overall I would rate this book 4 stars. It has many corny lines and some eye rolling moments, but it's just one of those stories that you must see what is going to happen. Therefore, you continue to push through and enjoy the outcome. I look forward to reading more from this author. Enjoy!

i read this book as part of an arc program. In this sixth book of the Sin's Bastards MC series, we continue the story of Sawyer. Sawyer learns her mother stole something from Max and now a man known as The Priest is looking for her to get it back. The Priest is known for being ruthless and he kidnaps Sawyer to learn information about the missing item. Leon Vincinti and Calico want to get Sawyer back, and when The Priest contacts Leon to tell him he will recover the missing item, he agrees to give him three days. The Priest has an attraction to Sawyer and she feels drawn to him also. Bane also comes back again with his son Michael to visit Cricket so Michael can learn about his mother. When Bane demands Cricket return a set of daggers to him that were her father's, she refuses. Raine and Cricket are also getting closer and their feelings are getting stronger. This series continues to be one of the best. I loved this book and the continuing story line. Once i started reading them, i found it hard to put down. Another great one.

Cricket's uncle Bane has returned to introduce her to another family member but what he really is after is some daggers that her father supposedly had. Calico discovers someone he thought was dead is actually alive and it changes everything for him. The MC is in danger again from another threat will the club be able to eliminate the threat without any casualties? This book has characters from the previous books and more to their stories. Each installment into this serious draws you and leaves you wanting more. This is about a group that has settled into a family of their own choosing and how they take care of one another.

This is a well written and very entertaining story. Each new story gives you another aspect at this club and its members. Once I started I couldn't put this book down. I would recommend this to any book lover that loves to lose themselves in an amazing story.

This is the last book in the Sin's Bastards MC series and it goes out with a bang. There is a lot of action, surprises, danger, and some romance. Cricket's story is at the forefront but it is not the only story going on. We get to delve more into Sawyer's life and there's a hint that there's more to come with her. A new group of bikers, the Hell's Fire Riders, are introduced. Sam has more family coming out of the woodwork. Could it be more kids? There is a lot going on but the story is well written making it easy to follow along. If you like MC storylines this series is for you. The mob is also involved, especially in the last few stories, so people who like mob stories should check into this series as well. I can't wait to start in on the next generation of Sin's Bastards and see where some of these storylines continue to go.

I have just completed devouring Stone Cold by K.J. Dahlen and am in awe of this superbly crafted book. Within these amazing pages you will find plenty of drama as well as addictive characters that you meet and are updated on along the way. This MC has high moral standards and this is a Brotherhood that is definitely closer then a blood family. There is everything to love about Stone Cold. Riveting... Yes. Drama/Intrigue... Yes. Straight up lovable characters... Yes! I highly recommend reading this series in its entirety. K.J. never disappoints and will have you just as hooked as I was/am. Going to read Raine now.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Stone Cold in exchange for my honest opinion and I couldn't recommend it more. I am now a fan of K.J. Dahlen's for life

Sin’s Bastards MC

I must say, I am really enjoying this series. I’ve read plenty of MC romance series and I love every word every dramatic event good and bad. While reading this series I realized it’s a lot different then what I’ve read from other authors. With Sin’ Bastard, you have a main couple but also there are multiple stories that have developed with each book. Wow. It’s was fun and fascinating, kept me interested, of course the sexual chemistry of the main couple was off the charts. This particular book had me in tears. I find myself on edge just thinking about what’s to come in the next series of books from the next generation. Bravo K.J. Dahlen, job well done. Thumbs up to you.

Cricket's Uncle Bane has returned to introduce her to her half-brother, his son. The problem with this is Michael is just like Bane and Cordy. He has no actual soul, and feels entitled to taking over for Bane. When Michael kidnaps Cricket and Jemmia to force her to give him a family heirloom, all hell breaks loose.

While this is happening, Calico's daughter Sawyer is also kidnapped by The Priest. While the Priest a world renowned interrogator is one of the most dangerous men in the world Sawyer feels a connection to him. He also feels one to her, so strong he debates giving her back.

What a ride!! Bane is back, and we meet Calico. Bane wants something from Cricket, and when he kidnaps her and a baby she is forced to help him and the step brother she thought she would never see again. Calico hasn't see his daughter in 20 years, but one call from Sam is all it takes when she shows up in his town battered and afraid. It will take the MC and the heads of the 5 Families to save sawyer, and bring home the shock of Calico's life. I loved this wild ride of a story and I think you will too!!!

So much action, so many secrets and loyalty beyond your imagination. This is book 6 of the series and just as good as the other 5. I have been so enthralled with this series and each time I start to read one of the books, I can't put them down until I'm finished. They are so easy to read and the characters are so well developed that you feel as if you know them all. This one had a few more errors in the grammar but I can look beyond that. Great series and I am looking forward to the next book that will spin off from this series. Enjoy

I was provided an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.....
You know in horror movies when the silly girls open that door, and you’re screaming at them not to open the door??!!?? In the Sin’s BastardsMC series it’s “DON’T TAKE THAT WALK”!! Nothing good ever comes from that. This was probably my least favorite of ten series and I would rate it at 3 1/2 stars. A little too predictable and not as well paced as the other books, but it wrapped up some stories and started some new ones. Let’s see what happens next.

While this book wrapped up several storylines, it also showed a few new directions some of the characters could go in. I'm also hoping it was introducing a new series with Sam's old marine buddies.
I must admit the flow of the stories was a bit choppy go back and forth between Sam, Sawyer and Cricket's stories. There were also some noticeable editing errors that at times frustrated me.
I love this author and always enjoy the her books. I'm sure there are more to come and I can't wait.
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.

Bane has returned and introduces Cricket to her cousin Michael, her uncle Bane’s lost son. But if truth be told what he really wants is a pair of daggers that had been passed down through his family which should be his but were taken by her father, Cricket is given an ultimatum to find them. We also hear a little more of Sawyers story, the Priest and a kidnapping, plus and a new group called the Hell’s Fire Riders are introduced.
Yes there’s still plenty of action and drama to come in this terrific MC series, and some steamy scenes too. Awesome reads!

This poor MC has got it rough. Every time they get settled down, something else comes up. Bane is back with a new price for their peace, but he’s brought along Michael, his long lost son. Sam’s in for a surprise or two himself, but things could be better than what they seem. Maybe one day the Priest will get what he’s wanting most in life, whether he realizes it or not. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

***Read in Order*** Loved that this book gave us a glimpse into Sam's background and explained a little of why he might have been the way he was. Loved seeing Calico and his family be reunited. Definitely hope to see "The Priest" in future books and hope to see him and Sawyer happy. This book definitely made me love Cricket more and I loved how she was able to read through her half-brother no problem. Great read!
