“Mama said, 'never love a nigga more than he love me'.” All of Chyna Black’s drama started when she was fifteen and it hasn’t stopped since. After a summer love affair that left her feeling defeated; left behind; betrayed and torn, all she wants now is more time. With each drama-filled moment that plagues her sanity, she feels like everything she holds near and dear is slipping away. Once deemed the life of the party, the silence is deafening as Chyna sets out on a journey of self-discovery. She's now in search of balance, success, peace and true love...Or will her past lustful, petty and spiteful behavior get in the way?
Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Keisha Ervin is a prolific writer and devoted mother. Her success has drawn much deserved attention to herself and her hometown. She is the author of the National Best-Sellers Chyna Black, Me & My Boyfriend, Mina's Joint and Hold U Down, as well as the novel Torn and the short story After the Storm, featured in the Street Love anthology.
Good read,, but I'm over chyna. I do not feel sorry for her one bit. I actually did not like her. She was a weak and pathetic woman. She was a whore. She desperately needed to be on someone's couch. She had a lot of issues. It's hard to believe she had a child because she was always focusing on a man. She will never find happiness with anyone because she is not happy with herself. The sad part is the only time she could be happy was when she had a man in her life. A man is put in ur life to compliment u, not define a ur actions and happiness. The fact that she was successful and had a beautiful daughter should have made her happy, she had true friends who loved her but that was not enough. She had to have a man to make her happy. I'm done with chyna please don't make another book. It was a good read but I need a break and I am over chyna black.
The drama never stops. All I want is for Chyna to win but she always gets in her own way. Karma is catching up to her and it is destroying her life. I hate that L.A. could throw their relationship away so easily. I can’t wait to read the next one, I’m excited to see where Chyna ends up.
Keisha Ervin is a genius storyteller. Although I read the series out of order, I enjoyed getting a peek into Chyna's life. It's refreshing to read stories about black people that doesn't perpetuate the typical stereotypical tropes. The story was about a normal black woman and the things she's experienced in her life that led her to meeting her dream man. From the beginning, I was rooting for L.A. as he was trying to prove himself to Chyna. I knew that she was wrong about him, and I'm glad that I was right. It was nice seeing a black man love a black woman the way L.A. loved her. I'm definitely going to purchase the rest of the books in this series so I can read the rest of Chyna's story. I recommend this book to everyone. It was well written. The pacing was just right and the character development was perfect. It kept my attention the entire time, as I didn't get bored reading it. Keisha Ervin did an amazing job telling Chyna's story.
Chyna Black series was so good that I hate it will be ending soon. I really saw myself at times in Chyna for being distracted or blinded by love and not being able to focus. Procrastinating on finishing her books and staying on her grind. And then she wakes up from the mess she’s made of being with a loser way too long and not putting herself first and to stop giving her body away at the drop of a hat to satisfy her inner diva because doing that, you will never feel like a winner when you really sit down and do the one on one with yourself. I’m getting ready to read the last book in the Chyna series “Such a fuckin lady” and I pray that in her last book that she finds the true love that she deserves. I recommend this series. I’m now one of Keisha Ervin’s biggest fans and will be purchasing everything she writes
When will the Chyna Black series end. I am do tired of Chyna's grown immature behind. She is so un ladylike. She's ghetto and rude. She has no class what so ever. Chyna has to be the dumbest person in the world. The worst part is that she hasn't grew up yet. Still playing little high school games, still begging a man to be with her. Just end this series now.
Carlos play too many mind games and that's why he ended up by his damn self(over cocky), Chyna was just looking for love in all the wrong places, but that first time she actually found truth love jealous ass men starting to act worse then females..... Carlos & Ty was some bum ass men.... PERIOD 💯💕💯
Have you ever read a book and you felt like someone was looking through the window of your past!!!! That’s how I’m feeling with this serious. Lord be a fence and help us through it. I’m loving this bittersweet story. Takes me back.
Boy does Chyna get on my nerves! This is just crazy! I really want to ring her neck for making dumb decisions! I still have hope for her! On to the next one! I definitely recommend! Happy reading!
Oh how I love the way the author changed the storyline up. I thought Carlos was the one but he turned out just like all the rest. Mens really act like women when it comes to the heart. What a great series so far. Love your work.
This should of been wrapped up it got dragged on for nothing I like Keisha Ervin books but this should of been done Chyna was doing the same thing in every book
Shaking my head…I know we all want the same thing and that is for Chyna Danea Black to have true love. We thought Carlos was the one but then he disappointed us. Enters>>>LA whom we all fell in love with! LA is the guy that is a real heartbreaker can have any female he want but only has eyes for one, making that lady the luckiest woman in the world. That woman was Chyna but their bliss is short lived and we are left longing for LA just like Chyna. Let’s hope they are reunited in Part 5.
This book dissapointed me. I really love her books but when I found out she was re-opening Chyna's life I was a little apprehensive about reading but I decided to give it a chance :)(:. . . . 1-3 were okay (3 was a straight up emotional rollercoaster) :( I liked the artwork for that one and this one . . . This was so disappointing I felt like Chya became childish and self-centered like her old self !!! . . . Her promiscuous ways, bragging, and praising Beyonce & Blue Ivy got on my f**king nerves !!!!. . . Okay we get it Keisha you love Beyoncé!!!!!
I wanted the best for Chyna but how can you want the best for someone who's only worried about revenge and getting their "back cracked" . . . Chyna really has issues & this book did nothing to hide them or help her grow from them . . . If I had the writing opportunities Chyna had I wouldn't do anything to mess them up... She kept on saying she wanted her relationship with her daughter to grow but once again when a fine dude came along she put that on the back burner . . . In this book Keisha really had me hating characters that I loved in the last book . . . (Honestly You can tell she’s only rewriting her old work because she’s out of ideas and needs the money ; every book she wrote is turning into trilogies at this point smh ) I wish she would just give Chyna a happy ending and move on before she can get any worse !!! This crap is a book form of Keisha's own personal life . . . If that's the case she should've written an autobiography or something . . . I hate to give bad reviews but as a fan, I gotta say this book did not live up to my standards nor do I think it was well thought out . . . I really regret buying/reading this book. . . & it turns out it's going to be a 5th book :( when is enough enough ?!?!?
This book was like a mirror image of my life.I laughed, cried but most importantly I learned that you have to love yourself first.I found strength in Chyna I honestly thinkk that every woman has or had to go radio silent in their life.I swear this book was my therapy! Keisha has and alwAys will be one of my favorite authors! If you haven't read this or any Keisha Ervin book you slipping!Job well done.Love you!
You have done it yet again Miss. Ervin!!!! This book was everything I needed it to be and more, you never disappoint. I need the next part to drop immediately!!!! I don't know how you manage to put my life into your stories every time but you do!!! I'm truly your forever fan honey!!! Much
I've stuck with Chyna black since the first book. I'm mad it took her 10+ years to hit her head over Tyriek, then turn around and meet Los. But in every book, Chyna has always taught me something valuable. I couldn't put this book down until the last page! To see her growth was beautiful. Please support this author's crafty work!!
She's done it again. Radio Silence had experiencing every emotion possible. It was refreshing to see Chyna receive real love without having to go through a bunch of hoopla. The book was well written and flowed perfectly. Can't wait for the next one.
Kiesha your stories never let me down. They always seem to hit home. Have me over here in my feelings rethink life's choices. I love your books. Please write more to this story so I can get my life on track. You always hit home
keisha ervin did it again. this series will have you not put it down for nothing. it really show as woman we all want is money , love and power but we deal want it comes with it
