It's time to start planning for Spring! Grow: A Family Guide to Growing Fruits and Vegetables is a great resource if you plan on gardening with children. Grow will teach your child about plants, what plants need to grow, and how different seasons affect different plants. You child will learn about testing soil for health, composting, and fertilizer. Grow is a useful guide to learn about planting seeds, to harvesting fruits and vegetables. This comprehensive gardening book for youngsters not only includes beautiful illustrations and handy reference to popular vegetables, but with the book you will also get nutritional information, stickers and games.

Mer fin än bra. Trots spel, klistermärken och inspirerande bilder är boken ganska ointressant och opedagogisk ur ett barnperspektiv.

This book was great! Spring is just around the corner and we are preparing for our summer garden. The bold pictures and informative text were exactly what I was looking for to add to our shelves for our garden unit. Grow was easy enough for my elementary students to understand and learn from and it also had information to teach my high school students. We are looking forward to rolling our sleeves up and digging into the dirt.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest opinion.

An extremely comprehensive book on grown a garden for the younger generation. I love that the author does not talk down to the kids. It not only explains carbon, water, etc, it gives the chemical equations. Most books for this age would shy away from that. It describes the various tools and what you use them for, how to find out what type of soil you have, even how to make your own organic fertilizer. I really like this book and can see myself recommending it to young garden enthusiasts.
