Deciding on one last hoorah before motherhood, Sugar Westin talks Lexi Black into going on a surveillance excursion. Perfectly harmless for anyone else, but when Sugar's involved... Knowing their wives will do as they please and Sugar's knack for finding trouble, Jared Westin and Parker Black make sure they're prepared for any contingency, except Lexi being kidnapped by the Russians along with Titan's newest potential recruit, Bishop O'Kane.
Live Wire is a jam-packed novella with action, suspense, laughter, and the powerful bonds of family and friends. Some of my favorite scenes involve Sugar's outrageous antics and Jared's reaction to fatherhood with a newborn. LIVE WIRE is also a great intro to Bishop's story-BISHOP'S QUEEN-and if the glimpse we have of him is anything to go by, he fits right into the madhouse with the rest of the gang!

Well, actually there is—Sugar and Lexi commandeering a simple op while Jared and Parker sit back and watch it all happen . . . of course, their watching includes high tech gear, locating apps and other fun surveillance tactics.
Sugar and Lexi are an unlikely duo. Sugar, with her gorgeous leather-clad, bad ass, eight-months pregnant self and Lexi, who’s lurked in the shadows behind her computer screen, are determined to help observe Bishop O’Kane, one of the candidates narrowed down to join the Titan team. They’re supposed to observe from a distance—but since when does Sugar really do something she’s supposed to? When they find themselves in the middle of a situation with the Russian mob, Sugar has no choice but to dust off her old ATF tricks and team up with Bishop and enlist help from Parker and Jared to take the bad guys down.
As I've come to expect from Cristin Harber, Live Wire was a funny, smart and sinfully sexy novella in one of my favorite series. Between Sugar’s smartass commentary, Jared’s worry, Lexi’s naïveté and Parker’s geeky hotness, you know things are potentially going to get worse before they get better. I loved how Jared and Parker supported Sugar and Lexi in what they were doing and didn’t stand in their way of “helping” choose a new recruit. The relationships that Jared and Parker have forged with their wives are pretty awe inspiring. The women know they are loved and protected and part of a larger family that will fight to the ends of the earth for them.
The unlikely friendships evident in this book are just one of the many, many reasons I loved Live Wire. Sugar and Lexi—they are the new “Thelma and Louise” in my eyes. And Bishop, damn he’s going to make one hell of a fine addition to the Titan team. I’m (im)patiently waiting for the release of Bishop’s Queen. ~ Missy, 5 stars

Sorry ARC pile, but you got put on hold for my Titan boys.
Loved it. Sassy Sugar is about to pop with Boss Man Jared's baby, but she's going stir crazy and asks to go on a stake-out to vet a possible new Titan boy, Bishop. Sugar drags along Lexi, Parker's wife, and of course, they get in trouble. In comes the rest of the team to save the day.
Can't wait for Bishop's HEA.

THIS book is how you write a novella - so damn good it doesn't even feel like a novella. Fantastically written as only the Queen of romantic suspense aka Cristin Harber does. What a treat to catch up with our geeky hottie Parker and hot and bossy Jared.

So damn good I cannot do it justice! It started with a prologue that broke my heart. It was all TITAN goodness in the middle with Jared, Sugar, Lexi and Parker as main features. Lexi and Sugar were hilarious together. Jared reminded me as to why he is my favorite. #dadwins.

Great short story
Sugar and Jared are having a baby....what could be better than a novella devoted to that. If you have read the series and know the characters, you will love this book. Sugar pregnant is great. If you haven’t read the books you may not get the same enjoyment but it’s still a good read. Great afternoon short entertaining read!

This is the first title I have read in this series and I listened to the audio version.
It didn't matter that I hadn't read previous books as it was easy to figure out who everyone was.
So Titan Group is a security firm who are looking at recruiting some new members. Before they do this they like to do a bit of under cover observation of these potential recruits to see if they are suitable to be part of the Titan team. It takes a certain type of person and they have to be the right fit.
Sugar and Lexi are married to Jared and Parker, the guys behind the Titan Group. When the girls get wind of some possible new recruits they ask the guys if they can do the under cover observation of them. The thing is, Sugar is 39 weeks pregnant and shouldn't really be out there doing anything but in the big scheme of things this is a low risk job. Using her seductive wife skills on her husband, Sugar manages to convince him to let her in on this job, as a final hurrah before she is on maternity leave.
This low risk assignment soon turns into a high risk assignment, especially when some Russian baddies get involved and Jared & Parker find themselves on a bit of a rescue mission to make sure their women make it out safely.
Easy listening for me, strong alpha males who love their ladies & kids and kick arse chicks who aren't afraid to take risks.

I really enjoyed this funny and sexy novella from the Titan universe. It's the first book I read in this series and I can't wait to read all the previous instalments. I love Cristin Harber's writing :-)

Sugar is up for one last hurrah before she has the baby. She and Lexi take surveillance duty on the new Titan recruits, specifically Bishop. What should have been a simple tail turns into a Titan sized situation before either woman catches wind of trouble.
It was great to touch base again with Jared and Sugar, and Parker and Lexi. Sugar and Jared’s baby story is precious. Sugar has always been such a strong character and I liked that she wasn’t a stereotypical “pregnant lady” in so many ways. She is her own person, and that carries into her maternity wear, activities, and ideas about settling down.
This was a short story, but full of action and excitement from start to finish. The established characters show just how tight the Titan family is, and the way they are vetting new recruits only proves just how much the relationships within the company mean to them. I always enjoy returning to the Titan world to see where these men and women are in their lives.
I enjoyed getting to know Bishop just a little bit before his book comes out. The interaction he has with Sugar and Lexi was perfect and had me laughing at the situation. His personality promises to mesh well with the team and I can't wait to see how he adds to it.

Suspenseful & kickass excitement
This was a great read, think it might be my new favorite in the series, Sugar and Lexi-two of the Titan teams wives decide to do a stake out observation of a potential recruit for the Titan team. Sugar who is weeks away from giving birth, is antsy and feeling caged in, but they end up walking into a Russian mob takedown. Story has lots of suspense, action, family, badass characters, and brotherhood. So good.

The only thing better than an Alpha hero is an Alpha heroine! Sugar Westin is back, extremely pregnant but not letting that get in the way for finding trouble. She wants one more adventure before she settles into motherhood and has brought her best friend, Lexi Blake, along for the ride. They are going to run surveillance on the potential newest recruit for Titan, Bishop O'Kane. What could possibly go wrong with that simple plan? Well, with Sugar you just never know.
Exactly what we have come to expense from Cristin Harber and her Titan series - fast paced, full of action, and twists and turns. It was fun to see the heroine's in the story take the lead and to watch the always in control Jared 'Boss Man' Westin and computer geek extraordinaire Parker Blake have to sit back and take a more supportive role. Turn about is definitely fair play! It was also fun to meet the next set of Titan hero's! I cannot wait to see where we go and what kind of trouble they dig up along the way!

Not going to spoil it and drop any hints but its a book you wont want to miss, if you have read the others then you need to add it to the collection. As for the ending of it wow! Definitely worth reading. Its only a short book but there is some action and a bit of mystery as well as a newbie, it has a couple of hot sexual encounters to make you squirm. There is also some suspense as you would expect from our favorite group, now I just want more.

Oh how I've missed these Titan men! This series is one of my favs. There's nothing better.
In Live Wire, Sugar is feeling restless and super pregnant. Wanting to feel as if she's still part of the team (which she always will be) Her and Lexi go on a stake out for new recruits. Not that Jared is super ok with it, but it's not like he can tell that woman want to do.
There's never a dull moment with the Titans. This is an action packed novella. Amazing how much Harber can convey in so many pages.
The Titan family is growing and I can't wait to see what else is in store.

I love everything CH!
This book is a quick short novella that follows the men on Cristin's Titan Team. They are special ops, an under the radar group that does it all. While this could be read as a standalone I wouldn't recommend it do that you get the full effect.
This book is packed with hot sex, alpha men who love hard and just the right amount of suspense to keep things interesting. Add in a horny, dangerous, badass woman and you the perfect short story. Another amazing read by Cristin!!

How on earth Cristin Harber can write a novella and pack so much into it so you still feel like you got a full-length intense story, I don't have any idea! :) But she does it successfully. Titan is an amazing series overall and each book just keeps adding to the goodness.
Catch up with where Jared and Sugar are now, along with Lexi and Parker. A little bit of trouble, a little bit of sass, and a lot of love are all wrapped up in this story. I think I fell a little more in love with the characters and am so excited for what's coming next!

I have to admit that I have not read or listened to any of the books in the Titan series by Cristin Harber before but I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook for Live Wire I jumped on it and I am so glad I did.
This story had me crying several times especially with the prologue, man that just gutted me. I enjoyed getting to know some of the key players in the Titan series and I look forward to reading more of this series.

This was a great epilogue for Jared + Sugar, while also introducing Bishop and visiting Parker + Lexi. One thing about this series is they have fantastic HEA endings that bring out the heart eyes and squishy soft warm fuzzies

Sugar Westin and Lexi Black have a great idea for a girl's adventure before Sugar gives birth. Just some innocent surveillance on a possible new recruit, Bishop O'Kane.
But these are Titan women...nothing is ever really that easy. These girls are tenacious especially Sugar who does not think pregnancy should really limit her bad-ass skills. Lexi is an experienced hacker, but is not used to field ops.
Soon their husbands, Jared and Parker, and their wanna-be-recruit Bishop and his friend are on the case to diffuse the situation before someone gets hurt...especially one of their own.
It's another Titan packed adventure novella with humor, danger, and non-stop action with a side of love and steam. There are precarious situations, personal milestones, and a search for new guys. I adore Jared, Sugar, Parker, Lexi, and all of the Titan family. Other hunky heroes and their wives also filter in and out. They have come a really long way from the single guys who only treasured their guns and ammo, and now they are more and more involved in their personal relationships and growing families.
I really liked Bishop. He was no-nonsense, funny, strong, and cool under pressure. He gets my vote for new Titan recruit!

This book is the next in Ms. Harber’s Titan Security series. It is a novella. It’s not meant to be a standalone story. The Titan Security series a great series and I highly recommend you read it from the beginning!
Live Wire is a novella that follows the next steps for Jared and Sugar. He needs to expand Titan and she’s about ready to deliver their first child. In true Sugar style she wants to go out with a bang, so to speak. She and Lexi (from Black Dawn) want to go check out one of the new Titan potentials. But when does an op ever go just as planned?! This novella is the stepping stone to the next chapter for Titan. It’s pretty fast paced and an easy read. A few twists and turns but mostly a great segue into Bishop’s Queen, the next full length Titan Security novel. The men of Titan wouldn’t be the same without their women and families so it’s always a plus to see some of them get their own spotlight. I truly enjoyed this short, fun read and give it 5 stars. Looking forward to more Titan very soon!

Oh so funny seriously I had tears of joy streaming down my face Sugar just cracks me up and even being hugely pregnant will not keep that woman down ....lol Sugar is going to drive Jared to an early grave but it will be fun along the way.
Sugar was not alone in live wire either Lexi was her sort of sidekick for this op which was so not meant to be an op and Parker is as unimpressed as Jared is that the girls were able to turn simple surveillance into so much more, thank goodness for Bishop and YES he does need to hired full-time by Titan immediately Sugar is right about that.
A fun adventure that rolls into more than it was meant to.

Great little catchup with the Titan boss man and introduction of new member Bishop.
I loved all the scenes with Sugar and Lexi they cracking me up those two.

What made the experience of listening to Live Wire the most enjoyable?
What makes listening to a book is having the perfect narrator read to you. And Mr. Kafer was the perfect choice. He hooked me on both the series and wanting to see what else he'll read to me.
Who was your favorite character and why?
It has to be Jared. This story shows the incentive to what he does. Sad news is that this is just a teaser. The good news is that it should lead the reader to Westin's Chase. It also has you wanting to know more about who Sugar is.
What does Jeffrey Kafer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He is the perfect choice. I have no problem having an idea what Jared Westin may look like and certainly sounds like. He made my choice of my next book in the series very easy. I have to know more about what Jared and Sugar's story is and Mr. Kafer just happens to narrate that story as well.

If you're looking for an audiobook that will take your mind off a day that may not be going too well then this book is the perfect choice. Add in the perfect narrator and everything else will just disappear. Mr. Kafer makes it very easy to just concentrate on what the author has written. He doesn't attempt to do a female voice and that's perfect.
This is one book that I can see myself listening to more than once. As I get more into the series, I would also have to come back and listen to this one. It's a great way to pass the time on a commute that can at times get frustrating. Even though this is a shorter story the author doesn't shortchange her reader by chopping up the story. But it's a great way to get hooked on an author and her series. I can't wait for more.

Lexi and a heavily pregnant Sugar go on a surveillance mission to check out a possible new recruit for Titan – Bishop O’Kane. A safe and easy job, or so they thought. When the gym they’re checking out is taken over by terrorists, they must work together with Bishop to get out in one piece.
Live Wire is a quick, easy read. Under 3 hours. It’s really a cute story. It gives more depth to Jared Westin and explains why he is the way he is. Of course, this is Jared and Sugar, so expect some sexy time…although, Parker and Lexi give them a run for their money in the sexy time department. It was fun spending a little more time with two of the fan-favourite couples, who don’t disappoint in this book. The introduction to Bishop was fun and set’s up the listener for Bishop’s Queen (I already love him!)
I love Cristin Harber’s writing style, she always hits home with a great story that is well written and will have you laughing and sat on the edge of your seat wondering what’s going to happen. Not many authors can grab a reader’s attention in a novella enough to get the reader invested in the characters and the story, this isn’t a problem that Cristin has. From the opening chapter to the final one, she has me riveted.
Two of my favourite scenes are Bishop’s first meeting with Sugar, it was funny and quite endearing. I definitely wanted more of Bishop after that introduction. Also, Parker’s geek make-over, his interactions with Beth were hilarious. And let's take a moment to think about Jared and a baby…sigh, that big bad alpha is a big softie!

4 Stars ~ A steamy and slightly suspense glimpse into the Titan world!
I’ve been hearing so many positive things about Cristin Harber’s popular Titan series that I jumped at the opportunity to review the Live Wire novella audiobook. I do love a good romantic suspense series and Live Wire does give those new to the series, like me, a lovely taste and feel for some of the characters that make up the Titan group. Although Live Wire didn’t explain the role of the Titan group, I was able to get the feel that Titan is made up of highly fierce individuals with various specialized skills who carry out dangerous operations. Live Wire also gives fans of the series more of couples Jared and Sugar (from Westin’s Chase) and Parker and Lexi (from Black Dawn).
Jeffery Kafer’s voice is deep and dark, which makes it perfect for a romantic suspense story. I really enjoyed his narration of the audiobook!
Filled with steamy romantic encounters and a splash of intrigue and suspense, Live Wire is a quick and alluring novella to sample the Titan series. I’m now very interested in reading the other stories, especially Westin’s Chase and Black Dawn.

Live Wire is my first Novella I have experienced as an Audio Book! I loved everything about it. I was reluctant at first because I am use to reading at my own pace (fast) and was not sure I could handle it. The experience was amazing. I was able to get through the Novella and not feel tied down. I was walking around while listening to the book. I love that it did not take anything away from the Titan series. So let me tell you why I love this Novella!
Jared is still his sexy alpha self who loves his wife and growing family. I love Sugar and the things that come out of her mouth. She has always been bad a#$ and does not back down even while she is pregnant. Lexi is out of her comfort zone and is in danger with the Russian mafia We are introduced to Bishop who is in line to try out for the Titan team. I really liked him and can not wait for more behind the scenes of Bishop. The thrills, the excitement and all the sexy scenes have you sweating and heart working over time. Parker who is usually shy and stays to himself made me melt when he finally got to Lexi. Who knew he could be so in control and commanding.
I love at the end how the story brings it back to family. I loved when Jared and Sugar welcome their baby into the world. You do not want to miss out on this Novella if you are a fan of the Titan series!

Live Wire is a fantastic Titan Novella written by Cristin Harber. True to form, she continues to build upon several storylines to create this book. From start to finish, she continues to build suspense and off the charts chemistry.
As the men of the Titan Group begin families of their own and the women are beginning to have babies, it is time for Jared Westin to build his team with new recruits. As a part of the selection process, a very pregnant Sugar and Lexi go on a survalience mission. But as with all things pertaining to Sugar, nothing is ever as it seems and we as readers wouldn’t have it any other way.
I loved getting this peek into the Titan Gropus lives. I also liked seeing possible storylines to come. I can't wait to read more from this amazing author.
PS- Jeffrey Kafer does an excellent job of narrating this incredible story. His performance only enhances Cristin's work. I am truly becoming a fan of his as well through this series!

This audiobook is so. Much. Fun!
Whether you've read all, some, or even none of the other books in this series, you'll enjoy the heck out of this one--it really does have something for everyone. If you've read other series books, especially and , you'll love seeing Sugar (heroine of Westin's Chase ) and Lexi (heroine of Black Dawn ) up to check out a possible new recruit for team Titan. Naturally things are going to take a wrong turn as they do, which will give established series fans and new fans alike a chance to see the men and women of Titan at their best, as they unite to take down the bad guys. You'll meet the potential new recruit who's sure to star in his own series book as well (spoiler alert: it's Bishop's Queen ) and as a bonus, you'll witness a life-changing event for one of the two main couples in this book.
If that all sounds like a lot for a novella, you're not wrong--yet somehow none of the plot lines feel short changed, and we get to see plenty of tender (and a few steamy!) moments for the couples involved. Plus, the narrator does a fantastic job and has a truly kick-a$$ voice to boot. He does a great alpha male, yet still voices the female POVs convincingly. A must-listen!
