I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Yes! David Clearpond finally has some accountability! I won’t tell anymore but Dayton Clearpond is a refreshing addition to Sweetwater. We have already met Rachel; she and Dayton make a great couple. Quick, fun read – with bits of action and a hot story – and I think you will enjoy. I know I’ll miss the Sweetwater folks. Hope we get to visit again in the future.

3.5 stars. Short and insta lust connection again but I liked how it played out.
Rachel and Dayton felt right together.
Great to get a happy and balanced ending for the Clearpond pack.
Reading this, I actually felt sorry for some members. We find out they were being forced by their terrible alpha to fight the Grimpaw bear clam.
I just would have liked some closure about Dayton’s father. Why did he leave his old room as it was. A letter left for him would have worked as an explanation.
And why are there no female wolves in the pack?

OMG! I just love reading Anya Nowlan and Rory Dale books they are so amazing paranormal romance and I've enjoy them all in this series. I knew this would be a fun read. There's nothing better than two characters who have such intense chemistry who is attracted at first sight to each other. Of course, their chemistry will eventually give way to their Hot steamy sexual scenes and they'll end with their HEA. It was fun to read how the mate bond effects them. Wow, this book has everything that I definitely expected and more! I mean I love it when the story makes me laugh out loud and I have a smile on my face the entire book. There is lots of humor in this story that I hope you will join me laughing out loud.
Overall, this was another fantastic paranormal romance from two awesome authors. Anya and Rory are two definitely interesting authors. I loved every aspect of their development of the attraction between our two main characters. These two authors know how to build the chemistry between the main characters and the chemistry in this story is one you don't want to miss. The storyline is Magnificent, well written, with the flow of words is so great and the pace of the story is just right. Anya and Rory are truly gifted and so very talented and so amazing. The characters are engaging, fabulous and fantastic. The dialogue is passionate, realistic, and you will love the interaction between the main characters, the chemistry is scorching hot and they leap off the page with life that's so real. The scenes description are sensual and dynamic with lots of passion. Each book in the series can be read as a stand alone but they are a part of this fantastic series. Another thing I like to give are teasers!

Dayton took off his leather jacket and wrapped it around Rachel. It smelled like him, reminding her of sandalwood with hints of something herbal –she took a deep breath. Okay, stop sniffing his clothes, weirdo. As they reached her place, Dayton took her hand in his. “Despite my uncle’s interruption, I had a really good time,” he said, looking right into her. “Me too,” Rachel smiled. They lingered for a while, neither one ready to let go. Finally, Dayton released her hand and walked the couple of feet to where his bike was parked. “Hey, aren’t you forgetting something?” Rachel called out, still wrapped in his jacket. “Oh, right,” Dayton said, rushing back and making her gasp in surprise when he wrapped his arms around herand pulled her close. Another fantastic addition to this Magnificent series. Everyone of these books will leave you with a happy feeling and in a loving mood. This is a Fantastic series it's scorching hot, sexy, it has romance with attitude. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you're a fan of all things naughty, sexual tension, action and humor, this is perfect for you. Enjoy!If you love romance and in need of a pick up this is definitely a fabulous choice for your TBR list.

If you believe in the world of love and paranormal romance then the possibilities are endless and fascinating.

I recommend this book to everyone who loves a good love story.

Lately i have been nagging about the books in the series being about the same thing and nothing exciting happening....well the author managed to prove me wrong with this one!
Fast paced with an intresting story that keeps your interest from the first page till the last this story has complicated character and an amazing plot!
The orld building though simple is enough and suits the story perfectly and the characters are with attidute,humor and more Alpha than you can bare.

I really enjoyed this book and it made me remember why i like this author so much!
A really great ending to the series with this stand alone book with a HEA!!!!

Dayton has a successful tattoo business in L.A., but all that changes when he finds out his father has died; now he has no option but to return to Sweetwater to settle his father’s affairs. This is an inconvenience for Dayton, but perhaps it is time he faced his past and had closure. Dayton’s memories of his father were hazy at best, but he remembered him as a volatile man. What Dayton has heard about the Clearpond pack did not exactly endear him with enthusiasm about returning to Sweetwater, with good cause. He and his Uncle David were all that were left of their Alpha family and his Uncle has claimed the right to lead the pack. Once in his father’s house, Dayton feels something unexpected; a sense of familiarity even though he has had no contact with the Clearpond pack since he was young, and he barely knew his father. There is animosity between Dayton and his Uncle from the beginning, leading Dayton to rethink his priorities. The Alpha blood in him called him to action; how could he stand by idly while his brothers were suffering – it was time to put a plan into action. Rachel is a lifelong Sweetwater resident and has been running the general goods store in Sweetwater for a good couple of years buying it from the previous owner; she has a number of loyal regulars and business is brisk. Rachel has made a good life for herself, but she wants someone to share it with and is fed up with wasting her time on one lackluster date after another – but even the best laid plans are no match for fate. Rachel is Dayton’s mate, he and his wolf are in agreement with that; now he just has to let Rachel know, and is she prepared to be the bait in Dayton’s plan? Another exceptionally well-written and enthralling shifter story from this author which I would have no hesitation in recommending. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

BIG BAD WOLF-GRIPPING SUSPENSE & ROMANCE THAT SIZZLES

Dayton Clearpond is quite happy with his L.A. Life as a renowned tattoo artist, he was even lucky enough to cultivate some werewolf friends. Receiving a letter from a lawyer that his estranged father George Clearpond has passed leaving him his estate sends Dayton to Sweetwater with plans to sell the estate and leave. Rachel owns the supply store in Sweetwater, has yet to find that forever love that is until she meets the sultry tatted up Dayton. Dayton becomes smitten with the Sweetwater beauty. Dayton’s uncle David is the now the Alpha of the Clearpond wolves, his cruel and murderous ways has caused bad blood between the Grimpaw werebears, the townspeople and even some of the wolf pack. Rachel becomes a pawn in the conflict between Dayton and David; Dayton has never really wanted to be Alpha, but when imminent danger closes in on him and Rachel he must decide to take his rightful place as Alpha or walk away forever.

LOVED this fabulous fast placed well written read by two gifted authors. The intriguing plot, gripping suspense, banter, breathtaking scene descriptions, and spine-chilling action keep the reader hooked till the end. Dayton and Rachel both powerful characters; their romance sizzles to a slow passionate burn. This was a most entertaining read and I hope to see more stories about the shifters that dwell in the town of Sweetwater. If you treasure shifter romance this is certainly a great book for your library. {I was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review.} In the world of shifter romance, the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations, I recommend this book.

Big Bear Blunder is the fourth and final book Sweetwater series of books, but you could read this as a stand-alone book however with this one I think it would make the setting make more sense if you read at least one of the first three books in this series before this one. This book is about Dayton and Rachel. Rachel owns the general store in Sweetwater and has for a few years now. She went on one date with Everett when she first came to town but there was no chemistry, they ended up really good friends instead. However now Everett has Sara, and she is feeling very lonely. Dayton is a very successful tattoo artist in LA, but a lawyer keeps trying to call him about something to do with Sweetwater. Finally, the lawyer has a note put under Dayton’s door and he reads that his father, who he has not seen since he was five, is dead and has left everything to him. Dayton feels that to better sell the estate and deal with everything he should go back to Sweetwater and deal with it himself. Rachel is working as usual when Dayton stops in to get supplies, and she is very attracted to the handsome stranger. She agrees to have dinner with him, and then at dinner finds out that he is a Clearpond. Clearponds’ has such a bad reputation now that this is a problem for Rachel. Can Dayton convince Rachel to give him a chance, that he is different from his father and uncle? Can Dayton bring the Clearpond pack back to respectability?

This book is great!! The character development was great. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes paranormal romances. My only caution is there is some explicit language, as well as some steamy sex scenes. I am so sad that this is the last book in this series.

Loved the conclusion to this series. Dayton Clearpond is a wolf shifter, who was taken away from the pack by his mom when he was five. His dad was violent to her, and others, and ran the pack down. He inherits his dad's house upon his death, and comes to town to sell it. He immediately meets Rachael at her store, and takes her out to dinner. Imagine her surprise when she finds out she is attracted to one of the hated Clearponds, and she is good friends with the Grimpaws. (bear shifters, and the wolves rivals). Dayton seems different from most of the wolf shifters, and she gives him the benefit of the doubt. While romancing Rachael, he has to deal with his uncle trying to run him out of town, and threatening Rachael. Dayton has to make a choice. Go back home to his life as a very successful tatoo artist, or stay with Racheal, and fight his uncle to be pack leader. Rachael is a fisty girl. She doesn't back down and is not afraid to help Dayton take on his uncle. She was also funny, and takes on his uncle. Dayton was a sweetheart. Loving and kind, and trying to take over the pack with as little violence as possible. This was a great story to wrap up this series, but if you haven't read the previous books about the Grimpaws, it doesn't matter. This book can be read as a stand alone book. (But read the other books. They were wonderful).

Rachel is the owner of a general goods store in a small town in Wyoming. Living in a shifter town she's learned which shifters to steer clear of, and the Clearpond wolves are trouble. When a tattooed, motorcycle riding wolf comes to town her perspective might be about to change.

Dayton is an accomplished tattoo artist with his own shop in LA. Going to Wyoming to settle his late estranged father's estate is supposed to be a simple and quick trip. But that's before he meets a curvy beauty and finds wolves that need a real Alpha.

These characters are interesting and their connections and story make for a good read. Rachel is strong, confident and smart. Dayton is bold, clever and loyal. I loved Sam, one of the secondary characters that really added a breath of fresh air to the story. The only constructive critique I had was in regards to the intimate scenes. The couple would begin and then.......ok that was great. Umm, wait what? I felt jarred from kissing to the characters suddenly moving on. I don't have to have all the gritty details but I felt like this needed more. But other than that I enjoyed the story and the twists the plot took, and the characters.

Exquisitely Tender!!!

Rachel ran her own grocery story. She knew about shifters and how much trouble they cost. She had one dat with Everett Grimpaw that ended with them decided to become friends. Everett found his mate Sara and their family has been growing.

Dayton Clearpon was a tattoo artist, as a yound boy he and his mother left Sweetwater after his father hit his mother too many times. Dayton never heard ftom his father until he got a letter and calls from Mister Miller.

Dayton found out that his father had passed away and that the late George Clearpon left everything he owned to his only son. Dayton went back to Sweetwater to handle his father's affairs and found more than he expected.

BIG BAD WOLF was fabulous, Rachel was one sassy heroine who didn't let the villains intimidate her. Dayton was a sweet addition to this amazing series. Loved how things changed between the Grimpaw werebears clan and the Clearpon werevolves clan.

Anya Nowlan and Rory Dale did it again. Everyone should grab this book, you guys won't help but fall in love with the new guy in town.

There is a common trope in shapeshifter romance novels where the shifter knows who his or her mate is. The Sweetwater Brides series uses this trope to good effect. Dayton Clearpond returns to Sweetwater after the death of his father to settle his father's affairs. He intended to settle things and return to LA and his thriving tattoo shop. What he did not expect was a wolf pack bristling under the leadership of his uncle and he definitely did not expect to meet shop owner, Rachel, the woman chosen by Fate to be Dayton's mate.

I enjoyed this book, for the most part. It's a quick, fun read. Unfortunately, it requires a lot of suspension of disbelief on the part of the reader because there just isn't enough explanation for me why Dayton would give up his life in LA for a pack he'd not seen since childhood. There are also some spelling and typographical errors that distracted me. I've read a couple of books in this series and it seems like the editor has overlooked "pecks" as a misspelling for "pecs".

There are steamy sex scenes and, as a result, I believe this book should be for mature readers only.

This is another great story about the shifters of Sweetwater Town. Dayton, wolf, is living in L. A. when his father,the Alpha in Sweetwater dies. He goes back to town to settle the estate which includes a house and land. He meets Rachel at her General Store. He feels drawn to her and invites her to dinner.
Rachel is minding her own business working in her store when the most handsome man comes in with these great looking tattoos, the ones she can see. She wants to see more. He invites her to dinner and she surprises herself and says yes.
I tell you this beginning, which might sound kinda of slow for a review, because their meeting is very important. There is a lot of pack politics, pack arguing, getting to know you friendly conversations in this story.
There is also a not so typical love story, because of the way she handles being with a wolf and her being a human. I received this story for an honest review.

Oh wow wow wow l loved this book!!! Dayton is the son of the former Clearpond pack in Sweetwater, but has not seen his dad since he was 5. When Dayton found out his dad had passed he had to go back to Sweetwater to take care of his father's estate. Little did he know what he was walking into with the Clearpond pack.
Rachel owns and runs the General Store in Sweetwater, when Dayton walks in her world is turned upside down, growing up in Sweetwater she knows about the animosity between the Clearpond pack and the Grimpaw Clan, ever since the last big fight the Clearpond pack has been scarce. But that is about to change.

This by far was one of my favorites of the Sweetwater Brides books I really hope we get a book for Sam and even Cody or Miike

Loved it!!!!!

I love this series. I hope we get stories for Mike, Sam, and several of the unmated shifters, be them bear, or wolf. This is the story of son of the now deceased George Clearpond, Dayton and Rachel, Sweetwaters general ( and grocery ) store owner. Rachel most recently dated then unmated Everett, but they had no spark, only friendship. Dayton comes to town to clear up his fathers estate, and he left Sweetwater around 5 years old. Dayton and Rachel click from the moment they meet. David, the self elected Alpha of the Clearpond Wolves wants Dayton gone and forgotten. What will happen when Dayton feels he can't forget, or leave Rachel? I loved this book, and hope we get more to come! I received a gifted ARC in exchange for an honest review, but, I also purchased a copy. I love Anya's books.

This is a book in the Sweetwater Brides series. I have read several in the series and keep coming back for more. I loved Rachel as the main character in the story. She is a strong lead, able to stand up for herself and not depend on anyone else, male or female. And I loved the connection between her and Dayton. I always enjoy seeing how a mate can change even the most stubborn alpha male and Dayton was no exception. Being able to bring his former pack back to the way it used to be was just an added bonus in the story. I would like to hear more from Rachel and Dayton in the future along with some of the new pack mates we meet in this story.

Well that was a lovely surprise. A decent , honourable Clearpond Wolf for a change. When Dayton Clearpond returns to Sweetwater, he is in for a surprise he didn't bargain on....Rachel, who runs the local store. She is friends with the Grimpaws but has no problems with Wolves or bears.
A story of Dayton facing his corrupt uncle David Clearpond, his fight for alpha and the love of his life. The action scenes were brilliantly written and all in all, another brilliant shifter story. Loved it.

He comes back to town to settle his father's estate and finds so much more. She owns the grocery store and has searched for a relationship with no luck. He does't seem like a good option but love doesn't always come easy. In this town, you really have to choose a side.

I liked Dayton and Rachel as a couple. They definitely sparked a reaction in one another right away. Rachel has a strength about her. This is part of a series but each can be read as a standalone.

Great book

This book was great a great finish to the opposing bear clan in big bear blunder. I love the strong heroine and her equally strong alpha wolf. This is one of those books you can't put down. This book has it all action, romance,friends who should be enemies and a strong sense of family. I loved how this book told a story of shifters and humans. Great read couldn't put it down. If you love shifter stories this is a must read.

Sometime You Must Step Up

An ARC was given to me for an honest review. He came to take care of his father's business. Now he thinking about staying after half of the pack asked him to do so. She doesn't trust the wolves in this town but he hasn't lived here since he was five years old. But something about him let's her know he going to be the kind of trouble she won't mind. Now they must deal with his cowardly uncle for them to have a life together. Enjoy I did.

Another great story is the Sweetwater Brides series. This is the story of Dayton and Rachel. Dayton has returned to Sweetwater after the death of his father. Having not been back to the home of the Clearpond Wolves since the age of five. He meets Rachel who is his mate? Will he be able to save the pack from his uncle? Will peace be made with the Grimpaw Bears? This story is a must read at 5 stars.

He came to town to settle his fathers estate and ended up finding his mate. She thought she would never find love in this small town but when he walked into her store all bets were off, too bad he was the bad guy. Now together they will have to fight for the good of the people of the town.

Loved it as it was exciting, suspenseful, and hot. I really enjoyed this book. What a couple they are. And what a mess it is to get into. But they cross the bumpy road and and it gets smooth. I couldn't put it down and sure hated it when it ended. I consider it a must read. I just love this author as I know anything she writes if going to be good. 3.5 Stars - This one was O.K. Again, I had to wonder where the editor or beta readers were for this one. There were simple errors that should of been caught.

Dayton Clear pond comes home because of having to deal with his absent father's estate. He comes across Rachel the local grocery store owner. These two are attracted to each other right away. But his Uncle is on the warpath. They will have to outsmart the wolf.

You will never be unhappy reading any of Anya's books. I loved how this story branches off from the Grimpaws but still involves the previous storyline to make a true happy ever after ending.
