Still enjoying the series but starting to get frustrated with Iliya's selfishness

I absolutely loved reading the Touch series by Anna Ellis. This was a great story. Characters just drew me in on every page I read. I was unable to put the book down, it was a page turner for sure!

Digging Deeper
I read this, but after the mic drop moment at the end of Kenna's POV, I kind of rushed through some scenes. I really need the story to progress at this stage instead of the overlapping timeline.
I'm trying to figure out how this ends well for all interested parties as Iliya Smoak omits important information and tells her husband, Delancey "Del" Ecker, and their potential playmate, Kenna MacTavish, so many half truths.
Her trying to use Kenna as a means of curbing her true desires for William and Amy can't end well for anyone. She's addicted to them and the pain, dominance, and degradation they provide. Her actions tell the truth. As I said in my last review, I don't think she's the right person for Kenna or Del.
I do like the interesting tidbits about not only the three primary characters but several of their family members and acquaintances that come to light throughout. And despite my unfavorable opinions of Iliya and her relationships, I really do like the story.
I read this as part of the Caress - Three Book Collection .
H = 42; h1 = 36; h2 = 29

Everyone has secrets and a past. The question is, can they move past them?
This nine book series is actually three sets of three, with each person providing their view as the relationship develops. This is Book Five of the series, which provides Illya's perspective as the relationship continues to develop.
The story is very well developed, with well written characters and a understandable and realistic plot. Each of the characters has their own reasons for wanting this relationship and the chemistry is off the charts. The story develops at a good pace and keeps you wanting more.
Fair warning: I found the story to be highly addictive, so be prepared to stay up late reading once you start.
Highly recommended.

I've read several books written by Anna Ellis; she has done a great job at writing a fantastic book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Such a fun steamy story. Loving this amazing series. A real page turner. If I could rate this more that 5 stars, I would. Characters are interesting. Chemistry and steam sizzle. A definite must read!!
