I was born and raised in the small town of Klamath Falls. It is there that I met my husband and had my first two children. In 1999 we left Klamath Falls, headed towards Portland. I have since had one more child and have settled in Newberg. I worked as a waitress in a French Bistro for nearly five years before quitting to help care for my ill grandmother. It was during my care of her that I decided to go to school for Medical Assisting. I had planned on continuing onto nursing, but landed a job with a Dr. I highly admire in a practice that I love, that has trained me beyond my schooling. In the nearly five years that I have been employed there, I have spent a large amount of time commuting. During those times I would spin many stories in my mind with the intention of writing them down. I have always loved to write, but have ventured away from it due to lack of time and life. The story of Neveah and Lilly stuck with me and I decided to write it down. I never intended for it to go this far, or become a full fledged story that I would be so proud of. I look forward to seeing where this journey leads me!

Great read if...you enjoy sexy billionaires, quick reads, plot twists, and novellas.

Side Note: This was a great start to the series of novellas leading up to one full length story. Loved the angst, the flow, and the writing. Without giving too much away, the story will make you smirk and scream for more. Check it out!

My first opinion of cash green is that he's cocky and vain. He is also a male slut and treats woman with no dignity or respect. The only important person in Cash's life is his Gran but when Cash meets Jewel for the first time he wants to redeem himself and be a better person but will he be able to change his ways completely and be there for Jewel when she needs him to be or will he just revert back to his old ways.
The story griped me from the start to the end but leaves you on a slight cliffhanger and can't wait for the next book in the series.

Review:
This is the first in a series of Novellas. My assumption it that they all have to do with people that use a particular Laundromat. The first story is about Cash Green. The plot portrays Cash as the wealthy playboy character until he meets Jewel. Jewel goes to the same Laundromat that his grandmother likes to spend her Saturday nights at to people watch. There is something about this girl that has Cash reacting like he has never reacted before. The chemistry is interesting to say the least. We don’t get much of their story. We will learn more about Jewel in the second book Addict which comes out on August 30, 2015. This is a very quick story. Again there will be several leading to a full novel. This book really doesn’t have an ending, but will continue. Yes this is the hardest review that I have ever done. I am intrigued by the way the author is bringing this story together.

*ARC REVIEW COMING SOON FROM ABIBLIOPHOBIA ANONYMOUS*

RATING- 3.5 STARS

I'm excited to see where everything goes and ends up. The accumulation of all these Novellas, then to a full length book. I can't wait to meet the other characters.

Cash Green is like every other male book whore, just sleeps with the pretty girls, never spends the night, wealthy and beautiful. Typical bad boy Richie, but there is always one person in the world for the other, right? And Cash will meet her during his weekly ritual with his Gran and the laundromat.

"For the first time in my life, I want to get to know her. All of her."- Cash

Jewel's isn't one to fall for THE Cash Green. She has her walls built and there has to be a lot of work from Cash to get over them.

"My life is not a fairy tale. It’s fucking dark and dirty.”- Jewel

First sentence from Gran, I feel in love. Woman after my own heart lol! I absolutely love her character.

Towards the end Cash seems like two totally different characters. It put me off with how fast he was able to change. I know it's a novella and the author had to make the transition fast, but it didn't feel like the same dude we met in the beginning. I'm curious to read how his character develops more.

Can't wait to see where this series takes us!

Millionaire (Laundromat Chronicles) by Angie Merriam
Cash Green definitely comes across as having it all. He is also big headed and pompous. He has made it and is living the life. He epitomizes the male slut and makes no apology for it. He treats women with no respect and Hannah is no exception. The only person to ground him and show him that life is not all about money and fake people, is his Gran. She is also the only woman that has his undivided love. When you first read about Cash, you really think he is shallow but when his Gran puts him in his place and he starts evaluating his life, you start to give him a reprieve. Can he redeem himself? What happens when Cash first notices Jewel? Why does he know that she will not fall for his chauvinistic ways. What is Jewel story and will Cash be ready to prove that he can be there for her or will dear old Hannah prove that she has what it takes to play him at his own game?
This story really reels you in from start to finish and leaves you on a cliff hanger of note. The author has done a superb job of captivating her audience. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

What an exciting and new concept this series is going to be for me. The Chronicles start with 6 novella each giving us the back-story into the 6 main characters of the upcoming book titled Life! The 6 main characters all met in a Laundromat of all places.

The first novella, The Millionaire, is where we get a glimpse at our main 6 and get to know Cash Green. Cash is a CEO, a millionaire and a playboy. He is a definite one night love’m & leave’m kind of guy. The only serious woman in his life is his gran. That is until he sees “her” at the laundromat. For once Cash is instantly smitten with a girl that doesn’t let him it.

Cash learns some hard lessons quickly as we get to know him and he’s in for a rough ride when his past catches up with the present and the man he knows he wants to be!

Trust me you don’t want to miss this one.
2 thumbs up and this reader is anxiously awaiting novella #2 - The Addict!

This story is such a sweet heart warmer, with a dark back story, Cash a millionaire in his own right lives the high life of parties and one night stands, but is loyal to his grandma and takes her to her Laundromat once a week so she can people watch. He doesn’t understand why but continues to do it to make her happy. She is the only woman he loves, and puts him well and truly in his place causing him to rethink his ways,, got to love grandma an amazing strong straight talking granny!. On one of his weekly driving duties his spots Jewel a mysterious stunning woman that takes none of his nonsense and keeps her guards and walls intact against his sweet talking. Can he get through to her or will his one night stands haunt him and stop him finding true love. Loved this fast paced gripping story, can’t wait for the next one

This is the first book by Angie Merriam that I have read. This is the first novella in the Laundromat Chronicles. There will be five other novellas and then a full length novel to tie everything together. I really like the idea of this being done this way.

Millionaire is Cash’s story, well, the start of it. Don’t expect things to be figured out for him, this is just the start.

Cash is the CEO of his family’s company. He is a playboy. No relationships, only one night stands, sometimes with a repeat.

I love Cash’s gran, Ruby. She is blunt with him and tells it like it is. That’s exactly what he needs after a hookup with a conniving bitch, Hannah.

But while sitting in the parking lot of the laundromat, waiting for gran, he sees Jewel.

Now he wants to change his ways.

I did know what would happen with Hannah at the end.

I can’t wait to read Addict, Jewel’s backstory next!

I liked how Cash straightens up in a different way than usual. He likes who he is and it's not that he meets a girl that causes him reevaluate his life, it's his grandma. Although he's aware that she knows how he is when she lays into him the truth of it all he realises he needs to change. Then he meets a girl. Then his life decides to throw a twist at him.
I love how this series is being told. We're getting novellas with the back story on each character before the book that brings them all together releases.

I was given an eArc in exchange for a honest review. Thank you.

This is the first book in a new series, Laundromat Chronicles. You will learn to love and disagree with Cash Green in this book. You see his playboy, wild side until he meets a girl in the one place he doesn't want to be, the laundromat. He has a weekly date with his grandmother to take her to the laundromat.

An amazing book by the amazing author Angie Merriam. I recommend this book to be added to your TBR list.
