I really like how the story play out but there were things I didn't like. I just felt like there could've have been more I didn't like the fact that all of a sudden Jamie had a epiphany that her attitude towards Jack was just out of jealousy it didn't seem realistic and if it wasn't for her boss Peter forcing her to make nice with Jack she would've continue thinking the worst of him. Overall it was just Ok I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

I found this book to be only just okay. It's by far not the authors best work. It feels rushed and lacks depth in both the characters and the story. Sorry Ms. Kent but you've done far better writing in your other books than in this one.

Bear handled is book two in the shifter heat series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book and I liked it. I liked Jamie; I have wanted to read her story since she featured in Karen’s story. I liked that she was studying to be a nurse and her reasons behind that. I wasn’t a massive fan of Jake. He flirted with every woman he saw and was a show off. That being said, when it was revealed why he acted the way he did, I started to like him. Halfway through the story I started to see a softer side to him. His attraction towards Jamie was clear to see and I wanted Jamie to give him a chance. I liked Jamie but I was annoyed at her going on a date with another man and it being rubbed in Jake’s face. Especially after he had revealed his feelings towards her. That being said, I did like when she came to her senses and gave Jake a chance.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

A Good Read
A nice romantic book with sex on the side.Jake had just transfered from Texas to LA branch of 7days. He meets Jamie the receptionist and they don't like each other. While having a fight in front of a few guests and Peter their boss. He calls them into his office and tells them to leave for the rest of the day off, go to dinner and figure out how they can get along or find a new job. A good read.

Wow, what a let down.
Jamie from book one turned out to be an idiot. Going on a date with another man just to annoy Jake.
Jake started off seeming like a big flirty show off but ended up just honestly being a nice guy.

The men will be hot, six pack abs and melt your panties off gorgeous. The storylines will always keep you on the edge of your seat. Kate Kent is very skilled at her craft there's nothing she can’t accomplish. Kate Kent is one of the best authors I have read. She can put her heart and soul into a story. Kate is a storyteller with heart, tenderness, compassion and realistic, she can combined both sensual and sexy with clarity beyond measure. I am always intrigued,awed and excited to read any of her books. Her romance and passion is always simply love. I love your curves. I think it’s hot when a woman has some body on her. I don’t like that ‘skin and bones’ look.” “Oh really?” I teased. I really enjoying reading this book. But of coarse I'm a hopeless romantic and this book will give you all the romance you want and so much more. Now if you don't like paranormal romance be warn this is a lovely HEA. But if you don't like this kind of genre then this won't be the book for you. But I think you will enjoy every word and agree with me that it's worth it. This is a great book to add to your TBR list. I'm so excited about reading the next book in this series. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It needs to be on your must read list.

Kate Kent is an AWESOME paranormal romance author. This series is the first I have read of Aria Dove. Evidently she and Kate make a good team. “Bear Handled” is the second novella in the Shifter Heat series. It is a book you definitely want to read if you love hot sex, sexy shifters, and lots of excitement. It is about Jamie a clerk in at the 7 Days Fitness center and the new fitness trainer Jake, who is a bear shifter. Jamie decides to not like the new buff fitness trainer Jake because she thinks he is loud mouthed and he likes to brag. Oh and let’s not forget another reason she doesn’t like him is because he thinks he can get any chick he wants. Technically Jamie has jumped to a bunch of wrong conclusions about him, before getting to know him. After a confrontation between the two almost costs them their job, the two are forced by their boss to take the rest of the day off and get to know each other. They call a truce and then are headed for a steamy match up, but Jamie’s doubts about Jake’s intentions gets in the way of what could be. Will Jamie be able to let go of her doubts and trust Jake? Or will she lose Jake forever?

Jamie finds herself attracted to this very handsome bear shifter by the name of Jake. She find herself wanting to deny her feelings. She does not understand how Jake can be so assure of himself about her being his intended.
Jake might be handsome but he sure is cocky and sure of himself. I love the confidence that rolls off him but I think it is one thing Jamie does not like.
Jake will soon see that he is not the only one interested in Jamie and this will be come very hard for him. Jamie is determined to not let Jake bully her around. It is almost funny to watch these two go back and forth.
This was a good story and glad I got to read it.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.Of you are looking for a sizzling hot paranormal then this is a must read for you.Curvy gym receptionist can't stand the new guy sure he's hot but she's heard him bragging about his exploits .She wants nothing to do with him but when their boss sees them arguing he tells them to work it out before they come back to work.Jake knows Jamie is his mate but can't figure out why she doesn't like him .Jamie finds out Jake isn't what she thought but will she take a chance on forever with him? Find out by grabbing and reading this passion filled story.

Jamie thought her opinion of the new guy, Jake, at "7 Days Fitness" where she works is just a player so full of himself she can't stand him. Until the day the get told by their boss to work out whatever issues they have with each other so what happened in the gym doesn't happen again. Now Jamie realizes there is more to Jake than what she has seen at the gym and she finds herself falling for him, especially when he tells her she is him mate. This is great quick read from Kate Kent. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

And Jake well, what can one say to that lazy Texan drawl, not to mention the guns he's packing, a six shooter that would make Wyatt Earp cry with envy?

She wonders of she was wrong about him? When he says she's his mate, she can't believe what he's saying and leaves. Did she make a mistake? Could he really be her mate? I'd say it's a 2 - 2 1/2 star read.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. It is a stand alone book with a HEA. I recommend this book to all shifter lovers. Jamie works at a fitness center as the receptionist and goes to college at night to become a nurse. Jake is a bear shifter and trainer who wants to be an actor. This is their story of finding love. Looking forward to more in the series. Happy reading.

As always this author has amazed me.. There wasn't as much action as I'm used to but the characters were still so much fun to be a part of that I loved it. It was fun and fast paced.. I felt like I was a part of their journey and their love. I am so glad I got to review it

The book was good. This is the story of Jaime and Jake. Jaime didn't like Jake and thought he was fake. Will she ever let her prejudice slide and see the real him? Will Jake ever reach her? Can they find what they really want? What will happen next?

Loved this read. Jamie and Jake get off to a rough start when they meet they both think the other is too good or too cocky. Once they get to know each other, the sparks fly. I love intended mates.
