USA TODAY-recommended author, A.J. Messenger, lives in California. Her novel Guardian was featured as a "must-read romance" in USA TODAY and was chosen as a "Staff Pick" on Goodreads.
This just gets better and better the ending have me shockeddddd… wowwww love this so far the book the story its just amazing no lets see wat book three offers
I was given an advanced copy by the author but not just for a review, she is honestly too kind.
It's taken me awhile to write this review but "Fallen" has stayed with me throughout my own life's journey. I came back to the book today and skimmed through it, went over my notes and still was in awe of A.J.Messenger's skill at portraying this kind of relationship. Alexander, a guardian angel and Declan, a sprite with some awesome powers that we're beginning to see develop, but also a mortal girl. I feel there's an elegance to the writing. Yes, the story has the bad guy and all that he brings with him but as I believe "Light always overcomes Darkness" Declan has two wonderful friends, Finn and Liz and I love how developed the characters are, especially Finn.
A.J. has created a beautiful world and I see it through Declan's eyes. I admire her ability to write about things that relationships endure, especially teenage relationships. Alexander always has a plan and he does pay attention to many details. When the time for him and Declan to make love, he was a pure angel in love. The author didn't make anything feel bad when it came to the intensity of the main character's relationship. It was all pure and decent. I love how Declan and her mom went down to the beach every year on the date of her father's death. I love the way they talk to him and cleanse their soul at the beach~That's what it feels like to me. I'm not giving away too much, I hope, but I'm anxious to read "Revelation" and absorb it fully. There's a lot to come if Declan's memories of her father's guidance come to light and I do believe they will be true. Thank you A.J.Messenger for sharing this amazing series, it has helped me in my own faith in ways that have lifted my heart and spirit.
Wow! This is my first angel paranormal. I loved the clean and pureness of this series. This is a level for all ages. Just pure love. I loved the relationship of Alexander, the guardian angel and Declan, a Spite with some awesome powers that starts to develop throughout this book, but also a mortal girl. Her being mortal and in the beginning, the rules is why the never made love until the end (Strictly clean). When it was time for Declan and Alexander to make love, he was a pure angel in love.
I loved how Declan and her mom went to the beach every year on the date of her fathers death. I cried through the entire thing because I do the same thing with my children at my husbands gravesite. There's allot to come in the next book with Declan's father. He saved her in this book so I know he'll be in the next book.
I don't want to leave the review without mentioning Declan's best friends, Liz and Finn. They were wonderful additions to this series, their characters evolved in this book. Especially Finn and his love, pure love for Liz. I've never read or heard about a person with Asperger's. He was the sweetest and kindest person ever. I highly recommend this series
I don’t understand why everyone is giving these books 5 and 4 stars. The plot is boring. Seriously. I’m just finishing the series at this point because I have nothing else better to read at the moment and I have this thing where if I start a series I must finish. I hope they get better, but needless to say I am highly disappointed right now
The story just gets better and better with each book in this series, it's so hard to put down and it gives you that uplifting feeling as you read as well as the feelings of fear and sadness but it's content is so varied and surprise that I think you go through all the emotions. It's a brilliant book to read that gives you a full array of emotions and a beautiful uplifting experience
Somehow I had a feeling the ending was what it would be and it still made me ever so happy! Once again, this series has me feeling all the emotions and wanting more. Onto #3!!!
.I liked this book just as much as I liked the first one. I hate that Alexander and Declan go back and fourth between dating and not dating because I feel like there better together then they are apart from each other. I can't wait to read the next book to see where there the story goes.

I love all of th characters and really feel like I'm engaged in the plot and can't wait for the outcome of it all ! Real page turner!! Unique world of guardian angels and of course good fighting evil .
Loving and warm romance between our heroes. ..characters all have well told backgrounds so that you can empathise with them...baddies are suitably bad...well told story .
I started the second book straight after finishing the first one. The plot twists are great and give a good rhythm to the book. The love story still gives you butterflies and the relationship does evolve in a pleasant way.
Fallen by AJ Messenger is the second book in the Guardian Series. The first book, Guardian was released in 2014 and was awesome. I loved the characters and the story that the author created. It was one of the first indie books I had discovered and I was amazed at how great it was. I had been very impatiently waiting for the next books in the series.
I was thrilled that Fallen was released this summer and that the third book will be out in the fall.
Fallen continues to follow Declan and Alexander as they explore their relationship and Declan learns more about Alexander’s world. We learn a little more about Declan’s family and see a little bit more mature version of Declan. Her relationships with her mom and friends are really great to see in the book. I loved seeing Finn and Liz again. They are awesome.
Declan is smart, caring, hardworking, a great friend and willing to do what is necessary. Alexander is a smokin hot guy from Australia (just think of the awesome accent). He is sweet and thoughtful, witty, compassionate, intense and over protective. Their relationship grows and so does the danger. This book has it all, romance, passion, friendship, mystery and suspense.
I highly recommend the Guardian Series. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Book 2 of this series. An absolute joy to read. Excellent character development. Too many authors Tod a y over explain their characters, this author developed just enough and left a little for your imagination. I highly recommend this series for both young and old.
Interesting enough to keep reading but skimmed the ending. Directed towards young teens it seems until the certain 0.5 🌶 scene at the end and even then it wasn’t too bad but no character development so I’m like why. The plot twist got me but the storyline is kinda surface level. Found a few grammatical errors like “tasted” when the word should’ve been “taste” or an omitted word. It’s a basic version of twilight.
I've read this book three times....thank you, Kindle Unlimited :) I absolutely adore this series! Declan and Alexander have the kind of love that can defeat evil at its worst. In this book, Alexander has to disappear for a while, leaving Declan completely broken. There's a series of new friendships, revelations and betrayal. Will evil be defeated? Will Alexander find his way back to Declan? This is a must-read series! Book 3, Revelation, is coming out soon. I suggest reading all 3. I'm patiently waiting for Amazon to drop Revelation so I can download it! 5 stars!!
As Declan and Alexander find their way together the outside world seems to come crashing in. Alexander's fighting his brother hoping to make thing turn out right. So excited for the next book.
There’s a lot of giggling induced scenes, sweet commentary, a few dark situations, but predictable outcomes. It’s a fast but good read. Hurry up August 26th! I need to get my paws on REVELATION!
