Seeking revenge for his troubled past has placed Yetti in the wrong place at the wrong time, but unfortunately he is not the one who has to pay the price for it. His absence left the door open for enemies to come after the one thing in his life that seems to be giving him peace, Reelle.
Yetti is bound and determined to make all parties involved pay for ever touching her.

Reelle is settling into her life with Yetti, but she soon finds out that while she is building a new family, the one she was raised in is slowly falling apart. She is left with some tough choices to make about family loyalty.

One bad decision for Keys puts him at risk of losing his life and the relationship that he has built with Asha. He quickly learns that sometimes it’s best to let the past be the past.

Aside from the complications that Keys is creating in her life, Asha has some issues of her own. All hell breaks loose when she refuses to give in to the advances of a co-worker. Will Keys come to the rescue?

Hayes and Rah are working through their issues and finally have things figured out, or do they? They just can’t seem to catch a break, and they find themselves on an emotional rollercoaster that could end their happy union.

The Masters brothers stand together even when their lives seem to be falling apart around them. With new loves and old problems, nothing is ever as easy as it seems.

It's not a secret that I am a K.C. Mills FAN-4-LIFE!!! I actually have a physical visceral response when I know that she has a book coming out. My entire family knows to leave me alone allow me my space and let me READ DANGGONEIT!! Okay I lost it there for a second. Let me put my reviewer hat back on!!! Now in this segment we get the opportunity to see the boys(I should really be saying Men lol) in a more caring and humanistic light. The evolution of these characters is nothing short of miraculous. You have Yetti, Hayes, and Keys and for all intents and purposes everything that these guys have been through they really should be in a white padded room somewhere receiving medication every 4 hours. Instead, they are stronger than anything I've ever witnessed with the characters that Ms. Mills has ever written. They each with the exception of Hayes are self-professed hound dawgs but they are open enough to be able to recognize that special quality that Reelle and Asha bring into their lives. We literally watch Keys and Yetti transform into men that are capable of both receiving and giving a love so strong to the women that they've chosen to be a part of their lives. Yetti really calmed down in this segment. He became a voice of reason to his brothers and while he has always been strong and loyal to them, we were able to see him open up with a level of vulnerability to Reelle like never before. Hayes of course is still the live wire but to see the way he interacts with Rah and Z it is truly heart warmingly special. I'm not going to lie I love these guys but I think they are the edgiest characters that Ms. Mills has ever created. They truly were broken and then they began to pick up the pieces of their horrific childhoods and maybe they aren't the best men but they aren't the worst either when it comes to loving one another and their significant others. Now anyone else outside of that circle can GET IT!!! LOL. Now on to Ms. Mills the writer. As I stated previously I am a die hard fan and I really don't think there is anything that this lady can create that I'm ever NOT GOING TO LIKE!!! I am hard pressed to find the words that will effectively convey how very much I appreciate and love the fact that whenever I crack open one of her books I know that whatever I may be facing that day I'm going to receive a welcomed escape. Let me break this all the way down. Ms. Mills is an enigma. She takes simple stories and crafts them in a manner that allows everything and everyone to drop away from your background. The reader is transported to her creative realm and is stuck there without any intentions of leaving until the last page is read. Her pen game is in a league of it's own and quite frankly Webster's dictionary does not possess enough positive or creative adjectives to explain just how gifted this young lady is. Let me take it a step further. Ms. Mills has the ability to craft a melodious verse without the use of instruments or songs. She only needs her pen and the words that she painstakingly types across the pages. So in short let me say this to all of you readers who may still have any doubts......As an avid reader I fell head over-heels in love with her courage, her sincerity, her flaming disregard to normal trends and her courageous ability to pen a story that ignites my soul and affords me the opportunity to fall over and over again into a world that only the great pen of K.C. Mills can create. Even if the entire world falls away and indulges in the suspicions that her writing isn't all that they say it's cracked up to be.....I'd still say that she IS, WAS, AND ALWAYS WILL BE ONE OF THE GREATEST because for me Ms. K.C. Mills is the end all and be all of what constitutes a GREAT WRITER!!!!!

The characters didn't seem to even think about growing until the end of this one. I was really hoping they all grew up and stopped with all the nonsense. It seems like their enemies just pop up out of nowhere and it's over with before anything can really come out of it. Not sure about reading the next one because nothing can hold the interest in these so far.

I really enjoyed Part 2.....

In this part, we were able to see even more of the issues that have affected the Masters brothers due to their past. Hayes actually admitted that it was hard to keep his fury at bay. Also, Keys blacked out when he beat up the guy who got Asha fired.

I love the relationship between Yetti and Reelle. They fell in love with each other in a short period of time, but the love is strong between them. I think Keys and Asha are absolutely perfect for each other. They are hilarious and in love. Although I sympathize with Keys ex-fling Nic and what she went through, I am still feeling some type of way about what she did. I hope we have heard the last of her and she doesn't try to come between Asha and Keys. I look forward to reading part 3 and part 4. Great job, K.C. Mills!

Totally awesome! Banger series alert!

By now I think everyone knows that KC.MILLS is one of my favorite authors, and she is yet to disappoint me. Not once, not ever! I continue to love the Masters brothers and their relationship. Even their newfound relationships are relatable and lovable that you can't get enough of them. This series is somewhat etched my memory for some reason. I loved it and enjoyed it and really doesn't want it to end...thank god there's another part! Can't wait for it! Fantastic job again!

Excellent

Picked up where 1 ended. Yetti races to be with ree after she is attacked. Keys, yetti, & Hayes deal with ree attackers and their father being out. Keys and asha relationship is progressing but when a ex steps back in the picture getting him shot he finally confessed his love. Hayes and rah are dealing with the baby issues. Yetti and rah are exploring boundaries that he's foreign too especially meeting her parents. Yetti is still a wild card and the secret his dad revealed has him guarded on the new family member they know nothing about. Great read ready for 3

Southern Kings 2

KC Mils has done it again with this one. I absolutely love the Masters brothers and the bond that they have for each other. Nothing but love. The drama continues with each turn of the page. Yetti has a lot going on, but Reelle is slowly slowing him how to love. The same goes for Keys and Asha. I really like Hayes and Rahs relationship. And don't forget about the cliffhanger at the end. OK KC Mills, I need part 3 please. #VLSBookReviews

Pros: This book was really good can't wait to see what happens in the next installment

Cons: book did not go to 98% it stopped at about 82% the rest of the book was sneak peeks of other books that I didn't really care about unfortunately it seems that most of the books that have come out from this company lately aren't going past 85% which sucks because your not fully getting your money worth

WOW

Wow is all I can say. If you haven't read this series yet then you're missing out. Love no matter whether it's on a street level, romance, having it all, or struggling for everything it's still love. The hardest, coldest street thugs break for love. This series shows you just how. With Ups and downs, a little drama and sex this book is everything. Can't wait for part three.

Good Story

Good Story. I'm glad the brothers found love because they've been through it. I loved all the drama and action but the brothers started getting a little too mushy at the end. I did like their loyalty towards each other and their women. It's almost too perfect though. What's next for the brothers? I can't wait to see. Ms Mills did her thing once again.

YOU can't do this to me, I need part three now. When I read the first chapter I know it was going to be good. I like how you brought the two together. The way they met was perfect.

I would have love to know more about Master's mother and fathers and how Reel father became and coke addict.

I love Hayes and keys. But Yetti is my favorite. I really don't know if I would've let Nic live. What if she holds a grudge. Because I'm sure knows it because of the Master's brothers she was hurt. And Cooper's husband is about to add sign his own death certificate.
