I was a child prostitute, that is until I met the Hades Rejects and Bart. Then I became someone else, someone loved, someone cherished. I thought I could hide from who I was.
When Bliss was thrown at me I knew my life would never be the same. She deserved a man who could protect her, even if that meant taking out her father. I was going to be that man, one way or another.
You can't hide from the past forever, no matter how hard you try. Sometimes a little blood must be spilled to save the ones you love.
Screaming Mimi lives in Texas with her husband, two girls, and two dogs. When she's not writing she's a domestic goddess who dabbles in photography. She grew up as a military brat and went on to become a Army wife. She's loyal to a fault and cusses like a sailor when the fancy strikes her. She loves hearing from fans so email her at authorscreamingmimi@gmail.com
This book is not for the faint- hearted it has some strong situations.
I could not put this book down, the author captivated me right from the begin of this girls’ story, Bliss Finch, a young girl who was used by her father, Jack, at the age of fourteen as a child prostitute. He made her do everything, but have sex. You see he was waiting to gain something bigger with her virginity, and that’s were her new family came in.
The Hades Rejects a local motorcycle gang that ran guns, drugs and whatever else to make money on. She was supposed to be a gift to the President, Castor. To Jacks surprise Castro would have no part of such a young girl. He and his son Bart dragged Jack out of the club along with the rest of Jacks girls, all the while he was screaming profanities at her. Bliss ran and hid in hopes they would not kick her out as well, for she had nowhere to go and wanted no part of what her father was making her do. Bart found her hiding and thats when The Hades Rejects decide to keep her for their own and try to protect her from her abusive father.
The feelings that sparks between Bart and Bliss is a love-hate relationship as both are trying to deal with their dark pasts. Bliss with her so called father and Bart trying to fix his past to win her love and be that better man, while trying to protect her from her fathers doings. They both took some drastic measures to save the ones they love, no matter what the cost.
This was a great read and the more I read the more I really got into their story. The Author, did a super job telling it. I Loved it and cannot wait for the next book to come out.
Review for Two Feisty Angels and A Devil Blog review by Christi
Bliss comes to the club and taken in by Pops and Bart. But life happens and the pass comes back for Bliss. And it will take them all to save her. Start of another exciting series.
Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a dark MC read and so there may be some triggers for some readers. A lot of emotion and drama in this book along with some unexpected twists and turns.

A 'maybe' buddy read with Kim.... 12-12-'17: Reactions @ EZ were not that great... so... I don't know...? Because of that, moved it to to-read-ooit shelf. The Erogenous Zone; BotM December 2017.
This is a good read that has a darker background/storyline. This is very interesting from the beginning. This has great character development. This is an action and steam heavy read. I do wish that Bart and Bliss had more chemistry, in addition the emotions from Bliss towards Bart fell a little flat for me. I really liked Bart and his personality. This is a darker read that does deal with topics that could be triggering for some individuals.
I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased, honest review.
I liked this book but didn't love it. I felt it fell a little short. There was lots of sex and action but not enough MC action to me. I loved Bart from the get go...Bliss on the other hand had to grow on me. I was hoping for a better ending but now I want to know what happens next especially with Matt and Jessie as well as Holland. Overall good story but could have been better.
A 5 star review for this MC read. Bart is the first book in the Hades Rejects MC series, by Screaming Mimi. Bart is the typical, sexy, overprotective, alpha male. Bliss's young life has been one of abuse and tragedy. Bliss and Bart are thrown together when she is has the unspeakable done to her, she is being offered to the club President. This read was a roller coaster ride of emotions due to it's subject matter. If you like your reads a little bit on the the dark side, this is a a good book for you .
Hold on tight because this one goes from 0 to 100 in record time. It's a hard to review book because you will definitely have a reaction to all the dark and twists within. It's not for all but if you like a book that will trigger feelings you're not sure you have than yes, it's for you.
I loved Bart. Bliss had so much weight on her shoulders and it's hard to really read her. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
Truth I liked parts of the story. I realllly liked Bart, Bliss not so much. I think Bart deserves someone who loves and trusts him. Bliss said she loves him but really, couldn’t tell. When the first thing happened she ran to another man. Then she made decisions that again proved she didn’t trust him. She had more chemistry with Holland. Which ruined it for me. Truth, if what she chose to do and did what she did, just saying, his mouth wouldn’t have been there. So no, didn’t like Bliss. But the other characters I liked so we’ll see.
Hold on for dear life because your world is about to be turned upside down when you meet the men of the Hades Rejects, and not only because they are insanely hot, but because they are fierce in their protection and retaliation should someone hurt one of their own. This was an amazing read, yes it had it's really, really rough moments and reader beware there could be triggers in this book for some, but it was an amazing read and I have not enjoyed a scene of vengeance as I did in this book for quite some time. I don't see how Hades could reject these men when it comes to handling the scum of the earth. But, on to Bart and Bliss' story which captured me instantly. Castor (Pops), is president of the MC and his son Bart is only 16 when they meet Bliss for the first time. Her slimb ball father is trying to begin her whoring by giving the innocent 14 year old girl to him as a "gift", but when he refuses and brings her back into the main room of the club house, she see's Bart and recognizes him from school. Bart sees her as well and let's just say, he's bitten by the love bug and there is no turning back for him.
Their love story isn't always sweet and smoldering as the years pass, Bliss graduates college and hasn't heard from or seen Bart in all those four years, until the day of her graduation that is. And she is pissed off just as much as she is nervous to have him back in her life. She still loves him, but has no idea how he feels about her. These two kids definitely need Pops to jump their butts and kick them into gear.
But her pass comes back to take back what they believe is theirs, and when it does, things get really dark for Bliss really fast.
An amazing read filled with all the emotions and some blazing heat, I highly recommend this book.
In this first book of the series, we meet Bart, his old man and the Hades Rejects. We also come across a sweet thing named Bliss. We find her old man, other wise known as 'father', prepping her for a client. What does her father do? What does he expect her to do and why? This is a really messed up situation all around for Bliss. When Bart takes Bliss under his protection, helping her up after her father goes off when the President and Bart's father comes storming out of his bedroom where he found Bliss waiting for him, she ends up with a crush on him. How old is she? What happens that night? What does the president expect Bart to do for Bliss? What does he do that helps keep her safe? At her graduation from HS, who does she see and what happens? This has some seriously dark aspects to it, in this book, but the story line that goes with it is intense and you have to keep hoping for them to have a good ending. From all sorts of taboo subjects being covered in this book, to the erotic scenes between Bart and Bliss, this has many elements that can appeal to a select group of people. Please do note that there is a very dark side to this book and it is definitely not something that someone under 18 should be reading at all. If you want to find out who Holland, Jack, Jessie, Bart, Matt, Diana, and a whole host of others are, then you are going to need to read this book to see how all these people play into and off of one another. Truly magnificent reading.

OMG what a fabulous start to a Series. I am new to Screaming Mimi and just happened to run across her name and decided to check into her Hades Rejects MC series. BOY oh Boy am I ever glad I found her. Her flare for words and dramatic MC action just suck me right in and I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
To say Bliss has had a horrendous childhood would be an understatement. Her mother dies while she is at a young age, and her father, Jack, forces her into prostitution. When he attempts to “give her” to Castor, The Prez of the Hades Rejects MC, all heck breaks loose. Castor is disgusted that her father would do such a thing and takes Bliss from Jack. Bliss becomes loved and cherished by Castor but what she really wants is to be loved and cherished by his son, Bart. But they seem to have a love-hate type of relationship: Bart secretly loves her, but acts differently due to her being underage. However things change on her Birthday. A drunken night leaves Bliss in heaven and Bart fleeing without a word, leaving Bliss devastated. From here the story takes off. Bliss grows into a beautiful young woman who is loved and protected by the MC, well until she wasn’t.
I don’t do spoilers so I won’t give any more away. But I will say this is a must read for mc readers. Some parts are not for the faint of heart but in my humble opinion, what good mc book is. Thumbs Up for a great 5 star read. Now onto book 2 Pops, and I must say I am anxiously awaiting Matt (book 3 due out late spring 2019).
Fantastic! Action! Hot Sex!! Great characters and fabulous storyline!
Bliss was born to a set of horrible parents and when her mother decided she had enough of her and her father, she left Bliss with a man who didn't deserve to be a father in any way, shape or form. When her father pimps her out to the local motorcycle gang to get their leader into trouble, Bliss finally finds what a true family can be. The one person who she has always had feelings for is the leaders son and he acts like he hates her. Bart doesn't hate her but he doesn't feel like he deserves her.
This story made me tear up throughout the entire book but I also laughed quite a bit also. Bliss is full of spitfire and I love her! She puts me in mind of myself! I could relate to the pain and the revenge that she had and she handled everything the only way she knew she could. Bart is a trip. He can read Bliss like a book and he wants to prove that he is worthy of her but if both would quit being so stubborn for a split second, they could have dodged some artillery. But I couldn't help laughing when they would go into "sibling" mode and fight with each other.
Fantastic book and can't wait to read more about these characters! Book 1 wasn't enough for me, I want more!
A unique, gritty and gut wrenching MC story that was absolutely worth the read. Even though it was raw and violent, it was also a funny, friends to lovers romance story. When Bliss was 14, she was given as a gift to the prez of the HADES Rejects by her pimp father Jack. Little did Jack know that the gift ended up being one for Bliss as the Pres took her in and gave her a new life when he realized that her father was pimping her out. Life was good for Bliss. She was raised like a member of the club, the Pres treated her like a daughter, and she was in love with her best friend Bart. A small problem since Bart was also the Pres' son, and he couldn't go near her. Little did she know that when she decided to make her feelings known to Bart, Bart had plans of his own. Except so did her father Jack. After her father had her kidnaped and attacked, Bart was forced to make certain decisions and revelations if he wanted her back in the club and in his life. Problem was, Bliss had other ideas...
This was a good story and grabbed me from the very beginning and really had all of the good stuff that I like when reading an MC story: tough, badass bikers, a take no crap from anyone woman and lots of drama, however, this story does have some pretty difficult scenes and situations to read that may not be for everyone. This book was gritty and emotional and overall was a pretty good read but there were parts here and there that fell a bit flat for me but I do see the potential of this series getting better and better. Typical MC story where the biker and the girl like each other forever but things, life and emotions get in the way and they don’t really get together as a couple until much later. I would definitely read the next book in this series.
OMG, what can I say about this book. it was such a good read, I just couldn't put it down till id got to the last page then I was left wanting more. this author has a fab way of writing that just has you captivated with the story and the characters. this story has it all, badass bikers, tough women, plenty of drama and some very emotional scenes. I loved everything about this book, the characters were fantastic, the story was page turning and the emotions within the story. this is definitely a must read book.
I found this book by pure luck and was in two minds if I was going to read it but boy was I glad I did its a bit dark with dealing with abuse but was very respectful in the way it was written , its a great over the top alpha male who falls in love but more so was the lead female was kick ass who wasn't letting one get to her anymore .
I recommend this book to anyone who is after a great mc story with a extra dark side here's hoping book 2 isn't too long a wait
The storyline was really good. There did seem to be several areas that were very repetitive and a couple areas that seemed to be a little confusing. Could use some better editing, but if you can get past the grammar and formatting flaws, it’s a good book. I LOVED Bart, though. Lordy was he a sweetheart, regardless of being a “bad boy.”
Great book! I'm not sure why I didn't read this sooner. I've had this and pops for a while. Super glad I read it. Needs better editing but I really enjoyed the story. I bought Matt and am ready to start on POPS.
I’ve read cheesy books, I’ve read bad books. But this one is particularly up there in horrible. The content is your run of the mill biker gang romance. I only got halfway though before the run on sentences and poorly placed punctuation ruined the book for me. I would definitely recommend the author pull this, have it professionally edited, and try again.
Bart: Hades Rejects MC Book 1 by Screaming Mimi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you like lots of action and hot bikers, then this is the perfect book for you! Bart is a MC romance, a second chance romance, a friends to lovers romance, and a dark read all in one. It is part of the Hades Rejects series, but it can easily be read as a standalone.Note: The book DOES delve into topics such as rape and prostitution, so it may contain triggers for some readers. That being said, I generally wouldn't read a book this dark, and if I hadn't I would missed out on some talented writing!
The characters were well developed and mostly likable. Bart is the son of the MC president . Bliss is a child prostitute, forced into working by her father. Their worlds collide when Bliss is delivered as a gift for the MC club president. Bart and Bliss have an almost instant attraction, but can Bart and the MC family save Bliss from her father and his abuses?
This was my first book by Screaming Mimi, and I was very impressed with her writing! I was unable to put Bart down and read it straight through in a day! I have a feeling Bart and Bliss will stick in my mind for many days to come.
