Amelita Rae took a wrong turn on the internet one day. All the innocent young lass wanted to do was watch funny cat videos, but then she discovered Boy's Love and that was the end of any worthwhile contribution she might have otherwise made to the world.

She now spends most of her time writing filthy smut that she tries to frame with farfetched plots and deranged characters, but don't be fooled by her bullshit people, its all just smut.

Told in multiple POV, 3rd person, it’s the first installment in the "Innocent Pet" series. It’s not standalone but it’s not the kind of cliffy that makes you hanging. It was a very short read and surprisingly enjoyable! Can’t wait to see what will happen to them. Overall, I liked it and hope you enjoy it as well!

Hmm.... This was goooood. Great non-con/slave boy story.

This story is mostly about how Chiaki gets to be in the position of getting sold to the Yukaza boss. Honestly I was expecting it to be mostly about the auction and the following 'consumation', but there was alot of storyline and character introductions.

The characters are fairly stereotypical 'sweet virgin' and 'big, bad, cold-blooded psychopath', but I really loved that here. Sometimes simple just works and here it really did.

I'm not going to say I didn't pick this book up for some smut, cos I did. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the story and got engaged very quickly, also it's still very hot (if you like non-con). Off to read the next one.

This was a very pleasant surprise! I didn't expect this story to be as good as it was. I picked this up thinking I would get a good PWP but there actually was a story and surprisingly well-drawn characters. I couldn't stop reading until I finished this around 2 a.m. and I immediately bought the second book. If you like a good non-con / slave boy / yaoi story and don't take it too seriously, I recommend this one!

As always, Miss Rae left me breathless and wanting more. I can't wait to find out what will happen between sweet Chiaki and Rokuda. Excellently written and very sexy.

Dark and Shameless!!

Well, that was one hell of a long sex scene! Included for your reading pleasure: rape, non-con, dub-con, abduction, human trafficking, slavery, secret auctions, pleasure houses, pets, masters, chains, and more. Not for the faint of heart!

At times this was rather well-written, at others I found myself cringing and rolling my eyes. Why? ....quick and random POV changes with no demarcation in the text.....lack of editing....sweeping generalizations.

All in all: DIRTY and NAUGHTY!!

I skimmed through a lot of the details that didn't have to do with the MCs being together but once they were it was delightful and almost sugar sweet sometimes. Excited for the next one!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love authors that can write the most dark and twisted stories, but also make them beautiful. I’ve already learned this from the other couple Yaoi’s I’ve read by Amelita, but I still come away surprised.
The prologue starts out with us learning Rokuda is not someone to be messed with. At the time he is 18 and trying to make his way up in a world of violence. He is something to be revered, and that’s shared in explicit detail.

“Even Rokuda’s own men flinched and gagged as the vicious teenager had wrapped the man's intestines around his own fat neck and strangled him with them as the rest of his innards had poured out onto the floor.”

I’m a total freak and I live for the dark and twisted shit. So if that’s too much for you just don’t read the book.
Anyway, in the same prologue we meet Chiaki who is 6 at the time and he is a bright beacon on this same cold night Rokuda has butchered a man. They instantly take to each other in a way only children can. They give each other hope without ever even sharing it.

We then move to 12 years later where Chiaki has just turned 18. He is yet again homeless and living on the streets. A gang finds him and attempts to rape him but he is saved - but not by any hero. His “savior” is a human trafficker. And this is how Chiaki ends up at the auction where Rokuda is. Rokuda, who has never attended or bought a pet at an auction. He simply can’t resist when it comes to Chiaki.

Chiaki and Rokuda have no idea they are the very same that met once upon a time and made each other feel safe on a night they had nothing but the stars.
But the sweetness doesn’t come easy with this one. I assume that will be in the second book toward the ending like usual. This one was all darkness. Rokuda once upon a time softened to the sweet Chiaki, and I can’t wait to see it happen again.

This was a short quick read that I liked. Chiaki has had a hard life his mother is addicted to drugs and left him and although he had a job when his boss's son wouldn't take no for an answer he hit him and took off. While sleeping in an alley he is attacked by a gang and almost raped he is saved by Fujiwa who is the owner of Eros Island. Rokuda who is also known as Dragon is king of the underworld he is also Fujiwa's former lover and both of them are dangerous. This was a really good book. Rokuda paid a lot of money to be the first have his way with the virgin Chiaki. Neither one of them realize that Chiaki and Rokuda have met before. This was my first time reading Yaoi and this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. This book ended strange too me. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I have rally mixed feelings about this book.

This was the first installment of a duology.

There is BDSM in the title, but I think real BDSMers would object or take issue with how this "kink" is portrayed.

If you accept this book for exactly what it is - a fairytale, à la wealthy man saves a sweet young thing - then it's not bad. Of course, the wealthy man is a sociopath crime boss and the sweet young thing is a preposterously innocent and absurdly beautiful 18 year old young boy, so willing suspension of disbelief is required. There's a near rape, kidnapping / human trafficking, gratuitous violence, a sex island, a human auction, and some hot, explicit, and slightly creepy sex - all in 155 pages. And the book ends with no real ending. Consider yourself warned.

It's a typical yaoi story, with an asshole sadistic ambivalent personality hero, and a skinny pet with pretty big blue eyes
And I liked it.

Go figure. Smh.

“He felt a strong desire to own and protect that lovely innocence and to never let anyone else touch that which he had claimed as his.”

The book opens in Tokyo with a chance meeting between our two protagonists.

Rokuda Seito is 18. He’s a dangerous crime lord—the leader of a growing, powerful gang. He’s super ambitious; he wants to run all of Tokyo some day.

Chiaki is a little blonde, blue-eyed boy who’s looking up at the stars. Rokuda is mesmerized by Chiaki. He stops briefly to talk to the child, and to help him.

Twelve years later, and Chiaki is abandoned in the city of Itoman by his drug-addicted mother. He had a job as a bus boy, but the owner’s son tried to rape him—so Chiaki fled.

Discarded and homeless, freshly rescued from another attempted gang rape, Chiaki sees no choice but to go with Fujiwa—a pimp, slaver, and human trafficker. So Fujiwa takes Chiaki to Eros Island.

Fujiwa and Rokuda are old friends. Fujiwa has been trying for years, unsuccessfully, to find the right “pet” for Rokuda. And he knows Chiaki will be the one.

After cleaning the boy and making him more presentable, Fujiwa’s cohorts bring Chiaki onto the stage. They auction off his virginity.

Rokuda’s ASPD is written skillfully. Awesome descriptions of the villa and of the action.

Very excited to see where this goes in the sequel.

“On the contrary, Rokuda wanted to conquer Chiaki in a different way. He had an intense desire to make this night one so pleasure-filled that the boy would never forget it.”

There were highlights.
Sometimes I was very into the story, and sometimes not.
Sometimes I would think I hated the writing style, and then sometimes it flowed very nicely and I liked it.
For all the red flashing lights...non-con, rape, human trafficking, all of that, it was actually pretty tame.
Idk, I might read more, but I'm not compelled to do so.
It was okay, and it had it's high points, so I'll probably read the next one at some point.
I am interested in the MC's, due to that first meeting years ago.

***2016 has been a very unstable year. Not only have I lost favourite role models in droves, I have been into dark places more times than I could count. Yes, I experienced highlights as well but the darkness has had a big impact this year and the only way to keep it at bay was reading, mass reading, back to back books with no stopping and no reviewing. I do apologize to all the writers that I won’t be able to review their books yet but I will get to it. Promise!***

I knew this was part of series, but I didn't realize it would end on a bit of a cliff-hanger - which definitely affected my opinion of the piece. Should have read the other reviews...

That said, it was still really hot. Also, well-detailed. AR can usually be counted on for that, but in this one there was a significant amount of exposition unveiled before the smut. And it was delicious smut.

Looking forward to the next one for certain!

Not my favorite book by Amelita Rae. Even though the premise was about a master and his slave, they didn't even truly meet until about 65% through the story. And I kept losing interest reading up till that point. Once I got to the part where the 2 MC's met though, it got much better and definitely steamier!

Not sure why this story is divided between 2 books. I guess to make more money. It was an ok read. A bit sickly sweet for me but still a fun pet/slave fic.

While I mostly enjoyed the story, this was NOT a BDSM story. In fact, anyone truly involved in the BDSM lifestyle would take great objection to how the BDSM was displayed here, because it was almost entirely non-con and dub-con. Which NOT what BDSM is about.

I picked this up, intrigued by the concept, but wasn't warned that there was literally PAGES of very detailed rape on page. That should have been added somewhere in the warning/blurb. It was bad enough it happened at all, but then it was described so blase as "almost-rape" and stressed that Chiaki was so pure and virginal. Well, I'm sorry, but any penetration (in this case, both oral and anal) that is unwanted, forced and violent is rape. No questions. No doubt. So, if you want that experience to be the catalyst to getting Chiaki to Eros Island, fine. But don't sugar coat it and don't pretend that he wasn't physically raped.

Putting aside that issue - which entirely RUINED the story for me - I actually really loved Chiaki, Rokuda, and their chemistry together. I loved the Prologue, and the eventual meeting again. If it didn't involve kidnapping, rape and force, then I would absolutely have bought the story. If Chiaki had been a down-on-his-luck homeless kid, encouraged to Eros Island for a better life, I would have fallen madly in love with it and his relationship with Rokuda.

Sadly, the continual rape and non-con, dub-con ruined it. I'm going to read the next story, because it's short and (I hope) all about Rokuda and Chiaki, which means there is less risk of further abuse. Rokuda seems to be the only one who actually understands what BDSM really is, though he certainly slants more towards the sadistic end with others, just not with Chiaki. And that is the story I signed on to read.
