The comic is SO cute! Honestly, I’ve never watched the movie before but I think this alone is enough. The chemistry between Judy and Nick is just something else✨

I read the English version from my library. It is a cute story like the movie it skip certain parts of the movie. Good for children, parents could read this to their kids if one doesn't want to show the movie to them.

I loved this movie and when I saw that a graphic novel version of the movie had been written, I definitely wanted to read it. First, the artwork is wonderful. It looks just like the art from the movie. As the story is a retelling of the movie, I knew what was going to happen.

My only complaint is that the graphic novel shortened the story a bit too much. While it's certainly understandable that not every aspect of the movie is going to translate to the graphic novel, I felt like there were areas that were shortened to the point that if you hadn't already seen the movie, you might not completely understand what is happening.

Other than that, it was cute.

''Coelha Espertalhona/Raposa Boba''

Disney Zootopia: Movie Graphic Novel - Walt Disney Company (2017)

Genre: Sequential Art > Graphic Novels/ Fiction/ Comics/ Children/ Mystery
Pages: 64
Rating: 7.5/10

Theme: Stereotypes/ Discrimination/ Prejudice/ Harmony

Opener:
“Fear. Treachery. Bloodlust. Thousands of years ago, these were the forces that ruled our world. A world where prey were scared of predators and predators had an uncontrollable desire to maim and maul and…
‘Blood! Blood! Blood! And Death.’ "

Summary:
The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it's a melting pot where animals from every environment live together--a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force made up of big, tough animals isn't so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox named Nick Wilde to solve the mystery.

Final Review:
I love novelizations. And when one of the best movies - not just animated movies - of the last decade gets a colorful graphic novel adaptation, I cannot tame my excitement. This is a competent adaptation. And I’d love to read more about zootopia, I’m down for exploration of all the other 12 unique ecosystems of the city. This bunny fox duo and the setting has my seal of approval.
There's plenty of action, colour, fun and charm for kids as well as adults.
