Deadly Demons

Rate this book
After a weekend of sex and murder, Nathan has discovered he is not the only one with sinister secrets and addictions. He is faced with accepting another woman in his life that could possibly be the key to breaking him from his own selfish ways. It has been a fun weekend for him, but now he must escape the law and find a new place to hide. Will he be able to continue living the life of deadly dominance, or will he fall in the hands of the police?

Adrianna is Nathan's number one fan and ultimate love interest. She may appear to have a conservative shell over all of her clothes, but underneath it all, she is just as sex driven as Nathan. After she murders her friend Mandy and discovers her own deadly demons, she realizes a life with her favorite author is all she wants even if it means facing his past with... Mrs. Red.

First a little warning as this book/series contains some possibly distressing material. It involves graphic rape, torture, cannibalism and copious amounts of blood and twisted fuckery. There might be things that may make you feel uncomfortable, turn you on or maybe even vomit. But none of that effects me so bring on the dark side!

description

Deadly Demons picks up right where Deadly Dominance left off. In this round we get to find out the aftermath of Nathan and Adrianna's night of sexual deviation and chilling slaughter of Adrianna's "friends", Mandy and Bo.

Nathan and Adrianna get the hell out of Dodge and are now officially on a road trip to get far away from the scene that played out the night before. Both of them are constantly thinking about killing the other and wondering if the other will get them first.

description

I feel like part of this book could be a new game show called "Getting to Know Your Serial Killer". A lot of this book really gets the back story on Nathan and Adrianna and really tells us how and why these two do the things they do. In my opinion, Adrianna is a sexual submissive with homicidal tendencies. I really think she was feeling kind of bad about killing her friends and its really starting to fuck with her head. Nathan is a power/control junkie who brags about his conquests through his books and someone from his past is about to catch up to him. AND I can't wait to see how that turns out!

description

The sex is absolutely sickening and fantastic. FUCK! Adam and Alexia can really write a great sex scene. Here is a bit of one scene that is crazy hot!

"His lips find mine and his tongue slips in massaging me. When I become hungry for more, he rips my head back to show me he's in control. As his grip loosens my hair, I feel him penetrate my tight core, lunging so deep all I feel is his heart beat inside of me."

There is so much fantastic stuff in here that I don't want to accidentally give anything away so I'll make this last bit quick. We do get some new faces of evil in this one. Bethany and Mrs. Red. That's it.... that's all I can say about that. OH wait... that fucking ending? Holy shit! I did not see that coming!

description

This book is filled with blood, debauchery, murder, sexual wickedness and evil perversion. This is a very well written story, but does have some misspelled words or words that are spelled correctly but are the wrong words for the sentence. That is literally my only complaint. I can't wait for you all to read it and I am SUPER EXCITED about the next book.

I received an advanced copy of Deadly Demons in return for an honest review.

In Deadly Dominance we met Nathan, a man who finds enjoyment in torturing and eventually killing his sexual conquests in the most horrendous ways, until he meets his match in Adrianna, his female equivalent.
In Deadly Demons the story continues, the pair have sought a kind of solace in each other and have forged a twisted, macabre connection through their enjoyment of killing.

This book is harsh, I mean, stomach churning, vomit in the mouth, walk away for a break harsh! The authors have found the essence of evil and splayed it on the page in a way that compels you to carry on reading until the very end.

I found it fascinating reading the memory passages, finding out more about why Nathan and Adrianna had been pushed onto the path's they had chosen and although their crimes are heinous and beyond vile in places, I kind of found myself sympathising with their situations.

We are also introduced to a new character, and you just wait, she is the mutts nuts.....I can't say too much without giving away spoilers but I honestly felt that she made Adrianna look like Mother Teresa in some scenes, she's a total head f***!

This book did not disappoint me and in fact I found it more intelligent than the first, the writing is so beautifully graphic and the authors have captured the thoughts and feelings of the characters in a way that will leave you aghast.

Once again I say, don't pick this book up if you have a weak mind or stomach! But if you enjoy a true erotic horror, this is the read for you.

Holy Shit, Deadly Demons was on another level. Wow, I was so blown away by the story. Damn, I went absolutely crazy after I finished reading that I could not think of what to write for my review. It took me 3 days to get my thoughts together. I really went insane. I was in trance for a while. Deadly Demons is a crazy ride. Everything about is one fucking ride that will have you drinking wine from a bottle. Lol. Trust me I was up in the middle of the night drinking because of this book. It will have you wanting weed and a therapist on speed dial. Deadly Demons absolutely annihilated me.

Deadly Demons is not for the faint of heart because damn the contents in this book will give you nightmares. It almost gave me nightmares. I was scared but damn it was just so intriguing. The story gave me shivers. I was seeing goosebumps on my skin. Deadly Demons was so damn good. Fuck, this book was so beautifully written that I became so addicted to it. My eyes were so glued to the book the entire time. It was controversial. It was horror at its effortless and finest point. It was pure sick and gory. I never in my life become so truly and deeply affected by this book. Let me tell, it affected me immensely. But I wanted more of it. Adam and Alexia wrote a brilliant book filled with so much dark element that they creeped into my dark soul. Wow. To rate it 5 stars is a blasphemy, this is a 6+ star book. This was magnificent man.

Nathan is one sick, fucked up dude. He is the most fucked up antihero I have ever read. But I still loved him. Wow, I loved that I got to understand his story more. There was some background information of him that made me feel so sorry for him even though he was a sick and sadistic fuck. Wow. I got to know more about Adrianna. She is an interesting character. We are introduced to another Character Bethany. She is as fucked up as Nathan. There are no words for her. Absolutely nothin. All I can say she is beyond sick in the head. They all sick in the head. They all psychos.

I am going to stop my review here because I might risk talking so much about it that I will end up spoiling it. You got to fully experience this book. I mean it will drag you the depths of the drkest pits of hell. It is a wild ride.

To understand this story, I would recommend reading book 1 first.

Deadly Demons the story continues. With Nathan and now Adrianna, as you will remember Adrianna is just as sick and twisted as Nathan, as we know she is his number one fan.

I had to put this book down a couple of times. At parts, it felt to much for me. don’t get me wrong I really enjoyed the book but just needed a break from it.

The Book is pretty fast paced. we met new Characters. and we Meet Bethany and erm wow she might just be worse than Adrianna. you will have to read to find out …

I liked we had the different POV and we get an insight to both Nathan and Adrianna pasts and what happened to make then the way they are.

If you don’t like Horror or gore! this book isn’t for you. This book sure isn’t for the faint hearted.

This book is just as crazy as the first one but it is so well written and so detailed it is like readying a horror movie script.

I really can’t wait for book 3!!

Can I just say this one was a total mindf#%*!
This was an exceptional continuation in the series. We dive in where we left off and when the story takes off on another course we get to meet some even more interesting characters... Nathan and Adrianna's story is unlike any other I have ever read before and delving deeper into their pasts we get to see a different side to the characters that have brought them to the people they are today. I enjoyed getting glimpses into their pasts as I often wonder what makes people the way they are. Sometimes I wonder if people are born the way they are or if there is circumstances in their lives to make them who they are and inherently I believe people have the ability to choose their own paths regardless of their course of life but yet ultimately they are born with something deeper inside them that comes out when they are put through certain situations. I wasn't expecting the story to take the twist it did at the end but it leaves me to believe much more is to come with the next book and I so can't wait to see what unfolds next.

Well bust my britches! Nathan and Bethany are back doing what they do best.... wreaking havoc and committing atrocities! It's not often a sequel can be as good as or top the first book, but Nathan and his side kick not only stole the show but they made a freaking series!

So what's different in DD? A boat load of stuff and I promised no spoilers ! Trust me my feelings are hurt that I can't tell you about my fave scenes! I can only say book one is "gray-nilla" compared to book two! That's right folks you heard it here FIRST! Deadly Demons is pitch black, gritty, and wonderfully excessive!

If you decide to play with Bethany and Nathan, I hope you enjoy their playground as much as I did! DD is definitely not for the sensitive or squeamish. So before you engage, heed the warnings!

Five stars!

ARC REVIEW

OMG Deadly Demons fed every horror filled image and erotic taboo kink you can think of ~ where Adam can and I am sure will take is in the final book is beyond my wildest dreams of dark twisted thoughts because this book covers 99% of them.

To get the full impact of the book you need to read Book 1 ~ Deadly Dominance to learn how Adrianna became part of Nathan's strange world.

I thought Nathan was in a class of his own and Adrianna was his soul mate how wrong was I another awaits his true sole mate.

The story unfolds nicely giving us details of Nathan's past and the wicked Mrs Red who opened his mind to the dark desires he now craves and also what lead Adrianna to have a similar thirst to kill.

*** This is a Horror no limits read so be warned and make sure you eat before reading! ***

Once again my mind has been blown away by these characters Nathan, Adrianna and now Bethany!
It is so hard to put into words on how much I love The Triple D series, to me it just keeps getting better no questions asked. Not only is Deadly Demons more horrific and down right disturbing, it is a brilliant work of art when it comes to them killing not to mention the hot and heavy sex. I do recommend reading Deadly Dominance 1st. This will not disappoint if your looking for a super dark read. I'm so grateful to have the chance to read this.

Rating: 2/5

As the previous instalment, I found this a very difficult review to write, simply because there is a discrepancy between my enjoyment of reading it and my urge to continue reading it. I.e. I didn't enjoy it but I couldn't put the fucker down. As with the last one, I'm going to continue to do my review a little differently to normal.

She is a quiet book worm who can devour a cock just as well as a novel.

What I liked
- Reese & Vice really go out there. There is no fear of portraying some absolutely vile events, including cannibalism, paedophilia, rape and gruesome, brutal murder. Something to commend them for.
- I honestly felt the urge to continue reading despite feeling a bit sick at times.
- I liked the third POV added to this one.

My desires have finally been unlocked from the depths of black that resonate in this already diminished shell

What I didn't like
- I'm still not actually sure what the fuck was going on.
- It was gore for the sake of gore and shock, rather than for any plot.
- I honestly, for the life of me, couldn't keep up with these characters. One moment they felt one thing, then they did something completely different, then they went back to the first thing...WTF?! Be consistent. Stop backtracking. These characters need to be fully-fledged.

I can taste the sweet revenge on my wet lips. Nathan is revealing my true self with each lustful whisper from his novels. I feel a connection so enthralling, its dark mystic wanders in the shadows of my dreams.

Overall, although a slight step up from the previous, and despite having some positives, this series needs a fully-fledged plot and fully-developed characters for me to give it higher than two stars. A commendable effort, which, once again, doesn't quite meet its potential.

ADAM'S WAY TO BE SO DESCRIPTIVE AND CAPTIVATING IS ASTOUNDING! ADAM HAS MADE ME A FAN/FRIEND FOR LIFE! TOTALLY A ONE HANDED READ

ADAM HAS DONE IT AGAIN. FOUND A WAY TO CAPTIVATE MY MIND, BODY AND EMOTIONS ALL AT ONCE. THE STORY LINE PICKS UP RIGHT WHERE DEADLY DOMINANCE LEFT OFF AT, WHICH LEMME SAY, WAS THE FIRST PLUS OF THE STORY WHILE READING IT. NATHAN AND ADRIANNA HAS JUST FINISHED SLAUGHTERING HER FRIENDS, AND THEN ITS CLEAN UP TIME. THE WAY THAT ADAM REESE HAD WITH HIS WORDS TO BRING YOU IN AND MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE TOTALLY WATCHING THE MOVIE. THE FEELINGS THAT NATHAN ARE STARTING TO HAVE FOR ADRIANNA... R THEY REAL? THAT IS THE QUESTION AND TO WHAT EXTENT WILL HE GO TO SEE... IT'S TIME TO DISPOSE OF THE FRIENDS AND TO GET THE HECK OUT OF TOWN AND AS FAR AWAY FROM ALL OF THE CRIME SCENES AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. NATHAN IS ASTOUNDED BY HOW LIKE HIM ADRIANNA SEEMS TO BE, DARK, DEEP DARK PASTS, BUT WILL HER PAST BE WORST THAN HIS TO BRING HIM DOWN, OR VICE VERSA? iT IS CRAZY THE DIFFERENT QUESTIONS THAT THE STORY MADE ME KEEP ASKING MYSELF.

THEY OF COURSE RAN INTO DIFFICULTIES AND PROBLEMS AND IN A AMAZON APPROPRIATE WAY OF SAYNG IT S*** JUST KEPT HAPPENING. HE WENT TO HIS FRIENDS WHO GETS RID OF THE BODIES AND WHAT THEY DO WITH THE BODIES, OMG; WOW. THEN THEY OF COURSE END UP STUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, AND GOOD GOSH! WTF! S*** AFTER S*** KEEPS HAPPENING AND THE PLOT IS JUST SO THICK AND I AM ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT.. BUT THE ODD THING IS, IS THAT I AM TOTALLY TURNED ON BY WHAT IS GOING ON AND THE WORDS CHOICE THAT ADAM USES WHEN DESCRIBING WHAT IS TAKING PLACE, AND THE SICK ATTRACTION THAT ADRIANNA HAS IS JUST SO STIMULATING.

THEN 2 BECOMES 3, BUT NOT EVEN IN THE MANNER THAT YOU WOULD THINK.

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Adam Reese has done it again.  He has that rare innate ability as a writer to turn the reader against one of the main protagonists in just a few strokes of his pen.

I love Adriana, don't get me wrong, but I also hate her.  She is a winey bitch. I mean come one!  She knew what she was getting herself into.  You can't change someone like Nathan.  His scars are deep seeded. He needs an ally not a pet.

Insert Bethany, the cannibalistic badass. She will either be his savior or his undoing. Unconventionally paired together, they seek out Mrs. Red to put a stop to her before she gets to them first.

Favorite Scene: I loved the ending  It was the edge-of-your-seat suspense that I crave.

Favorite Quotes:
"I hate it that I don't want to kill you."

"Her eyes are lost in the depths of her depraved mind, and I am the master of her dreams."

Epically done!

I've always said that a book worth reading pushes and pulls you leaving you to question your emotions. Sometimes and very rarely is a writer or writers talented enough to bring out all the feels in rapid fire at one time.
It kills me because yes a review is so very important but writing is a art just like music or painting. Where I find beauty others will not and what I find to be horribly written and a complete waste of brain space others can't get enough of.. art is subjective.
Usually I leave a blanket review but i feel that to many has done a terrible injustice to the author/s by doing so. In this book we are taken further into the broken minds of Nathan and Adrianna and what /who caused them to be so damaged. There are so many layers to the characters I was rocked! I was amazed by the many different and sometimes difficult way i could take certain senecio and flip it into something metaphorical and totally feel for the character. Epically done!
Loved it!
Book one I devoured without putting it down.. this one is much darker and to say I felt like I needed a hug and hot cocoa in certain places in the book is truth. Just WOW!
I can't wait for more and it's refreshing to have someone push and pull those feels .. Not a HEA and that's perfectly ok. Life is messy and unplanned

Book 2 picks up where book one ends. We find Nathan and Adrianna together cleaning up there mess from their little weekend party. Adrianna seems to think she's finally found the one who completes her and Nathan starts his ruminating about how it would feel to kill her and why he allowed her to live and all these thoughts that are streaming through his head, which I really liked reading his inner dialogue.
Meanwhile he also tells her what brought him to this life he now leads, we have an idea of what happened to him as a teenager and it seems the past is also coming back to collect. Nathan is smart, he realizes right away what's going on with the Mrs Red, she's taunting him now. Playing with him.
There's an incident on their way out of town that takes the storyline and the book in a whole new direction. There was a point where I asked myself, "hey, why'd he do that?" But patience child, surely we will see that in book 3. I'm not a Bethany fan... self entitled doesn't get it with me.
This book was much deeper than the first, you gain insight into the making of Nathan, along with a different and brooding side of him. Bring book 3 to the table Adam. We're waiting.

This is the second book in the series and Deadly Dominance needs to be read first. This book is also not for anyone looking for a "fluffy" romance as it is for 18+ and a horror book. Definitely not for the squeamish.

Nathan Andrews may have met his match with Adrianna and has the two must escape from the lake he heads to his buddy Mike's place to help him dispose of his latest victims.

Yet Nathan knows he is still being watched by Mrs.Red who is hell bent on revenge. When Nathan gets assistance from Bethany he brings her into the troubles and when something happens to Adrianna will Nathan finally be brought down?

This book is hard-core for shock value but it definitely not made for everyone. There was definitely a few places with Bethany that my stomach turned over.

That being said I am definitely enjoying this series and how different it is from everything else that's out there. I really had no idea what was going to happen with Adrianna and Nathan as they began to run when they knew they were being chased by Mrs.Red.

I wasn't surprised at the ending as Nathan doesn't really seem to have a heart but I am interested to see what happens next as things don't seem settled yet.

Let all rivers run red. That is blood red.

Nathan is back with his dark and twisted ways with Adrianna in tow and she surely knows how to step up to the plate when trying to impress.

The story is told in dual POV and we get a glimpse into the past and the events into Nathan and Adrianna's life and why they became the way they are.

Then there's Bethany........well all I'm going to say is holy shit she is in a league of her own.

Adam and Alexia know how to write a fantastic Erotic Horror story. Blood, gore, hot sex scenes, there is absolutely nothing off limits. So for all of you hard core Horror fans read Deadly Dominance first and then Deadly Demons. These two books will certainly scratch that itch for you.

Bring on book 3

This book picks up where Deadly Dominance ended and the blood, gore, and deviance does not let up. We find Nathan and Adrianna cleaning up the massacre from the first book when all hell breaks loose. Our duo needs to dispose of some bodies and that is where we get to meet Max and Bethany. Max is just disgusting but can I say that I love Bethany? Oh Bethany, you are my new favorite psychopath! Heed the warnings on this book because these authors are not afraid to cross any line that society deems to be immoral, illegal, or repugnant. If you like blood, guts, and torture you should give this book a try.

I strongly suggest reading the first book before you dive in to this one.
I have never in all my years of reading had to put a book down before...until this one. I think Adam just may have helped me find my hard limits...maybe. This story is full of everything a good horror story should have . Gore, sex, and characters that you hate to love. If you are looking for a romance, this isn't the book for you. If you are looking for a story that will test your limits but you can't put down? You need this one. I cannot wait for the next one to see just how Nathan's story unfolds.

Deadly Demons takes you on a dark erotic journey with Nathan. A writer with some deep seated secrets that have him kill for his sexual satisfaction. Mrs. Red, a twisted soul who initiated Nathan into the life he led was every bit as messed up as Nathan. This book reeled me in from the first sentence. You can't stop walking down this lurid path until the end. Gripping, descriptive, you feel like you are standing right along with Nathan. A definite must read if you like your stories dark and erotic

Nathan has a twisted sexual need. Blood is an aphrodisiac to him. Adrianna is a tortured soul but a love interest for Nathan. Maybe they are perfect for each other or maybe they are stacking blocks to demented sex and debachery. NO spoilers so you will have to see for yourselfs. Kudos to Mr. Reese. I loved this book and surprisingly Bethany is my favorite. Can not wait to see how the next book evolves.

OMG, this book consumed me and kept me reading from the first page until the last.

The book starts where Deadly Dominance ended and you can feel the turmoil Nathan is experiencing by keeping Adrianna alive. But then a 3rd girl enters the picture. But the part of the story that kept me reading is how a person from Nathan's past is back and bound and determined to get revenge.

I really hope there is a book 3. I really enjoyed this series.

I really enjoyed the first book but wow this one just pushed it over the edge. Loved this. Nathan is just so bad and Adrianna is trying to be just as bad and prove herself to him. The body count rises and we meet Bethany and she is just as messed up as Nathan and Adrianna but in a totally different way. The three of them bring the body count up and boy are there some surprises. We even meet Mre Red the one who made Nathan into who he is. Excellent book. Can not wait for the next one.

This is the follow-up to Deadly Dominace which is fill with gore, sex, violence and cannibalism. We finally get to see Mrs Red who has changed Nathan's life at a young age. We also get to see the relationship evolution of Nathan and Adrianna but I wish it would have been longer (my only complaint). Good story but do not read it if you have triggers
