Ken Kesey meets Carlos Castaneda meets Jack Kerouac...
"I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were well developed and interesting, and the narrative moved along at a good pace. It captured my attention and kept my interest start to finish. If you lived through the '60s, you'll recognize in the characters yourself, or friends, or people you may have heard about, or people you wanted to be. The story follows a young man named Jake and friends through a quest for life, adventure , enlightenment and self awareness. A good solid story told by someone who obviously knows what it was like to be young in the '60s. The only criticism I would have is that the text could have used a little more attention to editing, as there were many typos and syntax errors. However, it did nothing to detract from the story. All in all, a great novel. I'm looking forward to the sequel to see what Jake and company's next adventures and discoveries will be."
