So disappointed...
Seals could've been so much better!! It had so much potential and I'm just so disappointed in it. The ending was so freaking predictable. The amount of errors in this book made me want to be blind. I just feel like everything was kind of meh and rushed.
David and Kara were an okay character. They did have some funny moments but after the 5th or 6th book I kind of just pass them off now. They mean nothing to me if the story is going to be boring and convenient.
My favorite character was probably Jenny. She was such a bad ass and I loved the purple hair. The twists and turns were predictable but kept my attention long enough to finish the book.
Overall, I'm disappointed in how this ended. I wish it was so much better since it was the last book but there's really nothing I can do about it. I'm glad it's over and I can move onto the next series.

Great conclusion to the series but....
Despite having the best storyline so far, I can't give it five stars. There were far too many grammatical errors that should have been cleaned up during editing. It's like they forgot to edit and only used spellcheck.
It had a very predictable ending, but most books do anymore. I did like the spin, but would have preferred a little more detail in the change back. Seemed all too convenient.
One funny thing, is that every time I read Metatron, I kept thinking Megatron in my head. Just couldn't get away from it. Maybe should have picked a different name? Something less like an evil transformer would have been nice.

Ich bin sprachlos.
Die letzten 20 min. saß ich, während des lesens hier, und habe geheult wie fast noch nie bei einem Buch.
Kara hat den Teufel in sich besiegt.
Sie hat unglaubliche Stärke bewiesen als das schlimmste kam, was sie sich je hätte vorstellen können.
David hat da einem sehr großen Anteil dran gehabt, er hat ihr dabei geholfen wieder zu sich selbst zu finden. Dabei hat er ihr seine Liebe zu ihr gestanden; das gab dann letztendlich der Ausschlag.
Während des Buches war ich am Ende, keiner konnte mich mehr ansprechen geschweige denn unterbrechen. Dieses letzte Buch der Reihe hat mich mehr denn je in seinen Bann gezogen;ich konnte es nicht mehr weglegen.
Kara,David,Peter,Jenny, Ashley und die Erzengel (ja auch Metraton) haben mir bewiesen, dass das wichtigste im Leben die Freunde und die Liebe zueinander sind. Die Komponenten können alles brechen, selbst das schlimmste was man sich vorstellen kann.
Ich kann es einfach nicht fassen, dass jetzt auf einmal Schluss sein soll.
Ich habe alles verfolgt, 8 Bände lang, jetzt loszulassen ist nicht ganz einfach. Man hat die Entwicklungen miterlebt, einfach alles.
Ich werde alle Charakter sehr vermissen, sie sind mir unglaublich ans Herz gewachsen und haben mir viel mit auf den weg gegeben.
Danke an Kim Richardson für so ein unfassbar tolles Buch. Einfach für alles

Have to say I loved this whole series! David and Kara were cute! David's character had me laughing out loud most the time and helped lighten up the timid atmosphere for the other characters - truly loved Kim Richardson's writing! Penny...I mean Jenny was super cool and could kick butt with her awesome purple hair. Loved the characters and loved the ride and adventure they all took me on! From the plot twists - to my gaping mouth about what just happened - to my anger for certain characters. It was so fun!

Though there were times I was getting tired of her going to earth and then Kara would be all like "I know there's something more I have to be doing and I want to find out what" Then she dies and gets sent back to Horizon and just wishes for her to be back on earth with David. If I was her I'd love to kick butt and stay in Horizon! Also another thing that bothered me was how many times she'd be sent back to earth at the end of the book to enjoy her life only to die at the beginning of the next.
If this was the last book I'd say this is the best ending for this series. Hope to see it on paper back because I love having it in my hands than on a tablet haha

Magnífico cierre de una fantástica y fenomenal saga de fantasía. Aunque creo que esperaba algo más para el final sobre todo cuando la protagonista llega a sufrir un suceso muy importante pero bien, supongo que no podemos tener todo lo que queremos más no le quita lo fenomenal. Me ha fascinado tanto esta fantasía . Y no por nada los libros de Kim me han mantenido al hilo y ocasionado que lea y lea y me devore sus historias entre 1-4 días. Tienen que leer sus libros. Y ampliamente recomiendo este saga. Le doy 5/5 estrellas a esta novela o un 9.8/10

I enjoyed the storyline, and I thought it was action-packed, and not so much concentrating on the romance between Kara and David. The ending was predictable, the same as previous books; finished the big job and rewarded to live a mortal life.
Well, except for that part, which wasn't enjoyable as I was sick of the repetitive ending. Thank god it's the last book, and I could move on to the next series, the Horizon Chronicles which also based on the same concept as Soul Guardian's world.

I just finished the last book in the Marked series by Kim Richardson. It was a total of eight books. They were all good but eight was the best, though. It was action packed and I enjoyed every minute of it. It's a story about angels and demons, and their quest to save the world and all the mortals in it. I am a big fan of the good guys in books and movies, but this book you can find yourself enjoying some of the demons.

I enjoyed the concept of the entire series, but after the first few books, the characters stopped developing. They never grew or learned from what happened to them. Sadly this caused the overarching storyline to feel repetitive and the characters to annoy me. It took me maybe 6 chapters to figure out what was going to happen, another 20 chapters of being annoyed by the characters doing and saying the same things they had for the prior storylines, one chapter to confirm what I guessed was going to happen, and one chapter to tie things off smoothly. Overall, I wanted to like the book more than I did.

I really enjoyed this series. I thought it was full of action and a really fun read. plus who doesn't love a good long series. my issue with it however (and I wanted to read them all before giving my review) is that they all end the same exact way. she saves the world and her and David get a chance at a real life together only to be brought back in the next book to fight off more demons or whatever. the stories change but always start and end the same way so it was a little predictable. but still a fun fast paced read

Not what I expected. How did Kara become elemental again?? I get that the light in her fought over Death, but she had lost all her elemental powers again, so how did they arise again out of the blue. Somehow predictable ending but good story.

The ending was as I predicted, but still a pretty good one. Kara Nightingale faced many obstacles, doubts, and was wrongfully accused by many, but she still came out a hero in the end.

I read the 1st book in an anthology and loved it so much I bought the whole series in a boxed set. I was not disappointed. I loved Kara's story. It will be a series I will read again and again.
