A chance meeting on a Caribbean island gives Navy SEAL Quinn Parry another opportunity to impress the sexiest Army sergeant he’s ever laid eyes on. But Leah Saunders isn’t interested in an over-the-top alpha male…unless he wants to submit to her.
Zoe says, "The SEALs Undone series collides with the ASSIGNMENT: Caribbean Nights world! It's dirty and sweet and a little bit unexpected. But if you liked Quinn in Fall Dirty, then I hope you love this story of how he finds his own HEA with the first woman to captivate his entire heart. And once he finds her, he's a goner. It's a vacation romance with a touch of second chance and enemies to lovers. I loved writing it. Enjoy!"
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Zoe York is a busy working mom of two young boys, wife to a very understanding soldier, and creator of modern, sexy, small town contemporary romances.
She lives in London, Ontario and is currently chugging Americanos, wiping sticky fingers, and dreaming of heroes in and out of uniform.
Super quick and super hot read. A bit misleading because it’s not really a domme/sub situation but more of a kinky sex, try anything thing. I liked the author’s knowledge of military and how it was naturally peppered into the story, giving it an authentic feel. I liked Leah as a heroine, she was badass but also soft when she needed to be. Quinn was super sexy and laid back. He wasn’t really submissive though and she wasn’t all that Domme either. I think the author tried to keep this relatable and slightly vanilla, as a result she kinda did what a lot of authors do when writing a femDomme, she made her soften as the relationship progressed, and she made her need to dominate related to her issues and not just a natural part of her personality. This is unfortunate and I see this a lot when writers try to explain why a woman would want to be sexually dominant. Sometimes a woman can just be dominant and not have it wrapped up in her issues. I wish York had done that here, she got close, but then at the end she made her need to dominate go away as her love for her man grew...just ugh. They both remained kinky, but I just wanted the D/s to be more distinct. It’s like York couldn’t imagine a big Navy Seal being submissive, but for real, aren’t all military men somewhat submissive? They take orders, follow orders and don’t have a lot of personal freedoms when enlisted. You’d think submitting sexually would be in their wheelhouse. 🤷🏼♀️ But totally a steamy read, jam packed with sex and a bit of a love story too. Kinda insta but this is a short novella so I think that’s inevitable. I did enjoy this overall.
Quinn Parry, the third from the menage in the previous SEALS Undone book, Fall Dirty, meets Sargeant Leah Saunders and falls in lust. But she brushes him off. But then they meet up again on a Carribean Island and he sees this as his chance. But Leah isn't in to the same kink as Quinn is...for one, she doesn't like to submit, she prefers her guy to. Quinn, for his part, is willing to take Leah however he can get her - even if it means submission.
So this was good. I liked how laid back Quinn was and willing to go with any kind of kink out there. Although he had his alpha-like tendencies, he was easily able to suppress them to turn Leah on and it totally didn't bother him. Of course, my theory about that would be because she didn't really make him submit. In all of their encounters, Leah and Quinn were pretty much on equal footing, he gave commands, she gave commands, both listened and obeyed. In one scene Leah has control and makes him wait for release, but in another he puts her on her back and has his way with her. The control factor is very light in this story - both a good thing, for those, like myself, who don't care for the power games in D/s, but also a bit of a disappointment because we don't really get to see Leah take control of an alpha SEAL...I almost wish it had gone further. I absolutely appreciate the open communication about intentions at all times - no doubts or questions about who wants what.

Loved Leah and Quinn! Especially the moment he realized she was a top. Her teasing him when they first talked about her kink had me fanning myself. I could totally see Quinn tied up waiting for gratification. So hot!!! I love how Leah loses herself when she's with Quinn. She's this tough as nails Master Sergeant who likes to be in control; but with him, she just melts into his kisses and touches. And Chapter 8!!! Whew! I can't wait for more of this couple! And knowing Zoe, there will be more.
Zoe York has written another steamy read and it was a super easy insta love romance. I loved the relationship these two characters have but I wants so much more from their story. Zoe wrote a slightly different romance compared to the other books in the series just to help spice things up and it definitely worked.
As I wrote earlier this week, May was crazy busy. But an E-Reader Addict’s gotta read. So Zoe York and her SEALs Undone series to the rescue!
Fall Quiet is another hot, steamy story!
Quinn sees Leah at a bar one night, but she brushes him off. He sees her again during a military training the next day, and the fact that she dresses him down does nothing to cool his interest. When Quinn runs into Leah again several months later on a Caribbean island, he’s determined to spend time with Leah, even if it’s only for their time on the island. Their week together gives them a chance to explore their deepest desires and, of course, both decide a week isn’t enough. I love a kick ass heroine, and Leah was great - I love seeing a woman ask for, and get, what she wants. I love a hero who asks the heroine what she wants and is willing to give it to her, even if it stretches the boundaries of his comfort.
This story was more steamy than sweet, but I thoroughly enjoyed Quinn and Leah!
Genre: Romance - Military, SEAL, kink Stand Alone: Yes Part of a Series: Book 9 of the SEALs Undone Series POV: Leah and Quinn Steam level: Pretty Toasty 5/5
Although I have several already, this is the first book I've read by Zoe York. Fall Quiet was a lot of fun with a perfect mix of steam and sweet. Although dealing a little with kink, it was light and didn't push a lot of boundaries (well maybe the characters' boundaries but that's part of the fun). I really liked Leah with her bossy and independent attitude and Quinn with his easy-going personality. The interplay between these two characters was fun and light-hearted. I would have liked to get to know both Leah and Quinn's background a little more but I understand that the book can only be so long. Overall a good book which makes me look forward to read more of Zoe York's books.
I read this in the Some Like It Geek anthology which I received from NetGalley. This is my honest (and late) voluntary review
Leah is used to having control over every aspect of her live including sex. Can Quinn get her to loosen up that control a little or give it over completely to him?
Leah has a right control on her sex life and doesn't have intercourse often, but is willing to play in the kinky scenes as often as she can. Quinn will be whatever she wants him to be but at the end of their week together can be be everything she needs? Can she truly trust him with her secrets and fantasies? Loved this book and how much more kink is in this one. Each one gets a little kinkier.
I'm loving this series by Zoe York and love this book. The whole series is wonderful, but this is definitely my new favourite. It is a little spicier than usual for Zoe, but still such a sweet story.
Fall Quiet is about Navy SEAL Quinn Parry and Army sergeant Leah Saunders. Quinn is trying his best to impress Leah, but that doesn't work for her. She is all about taking the lead, in and out of the bedroom. Quinn knows that sometimes to get the girl you have to give her what she wants because in the end they both win.

I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.
The last 2 Seals Undone books were a bit more dirty than the rest of the series so if you don't want to read kink skip these 2.
Quinn and Leah are perfect for each other. Even though they are both "tops" he's willing to give her more of what she needs because he'll do anything for her. It wasn't supposed to be forever. What was supposed to be a week long one night stand turned into a future neither of them saw coming.
Oh my gosh! These two are so freaking cute together. I’m not usually a fan of stories where the heroine is the dominant personality, but Leah made it work for me. It also helped that they kind of took it in turns who was in charge. Leah had her opportunities and so did Quinn. I loved how open and honest they were with one another about what they wanted. It was so much fun watching the dynamic between Quinn an Leah change from lust into love.
In this ninth book in the SEALs Undone series we meet Quinn & Leah.
Quinn is a SEAL & Leah is an Army sergeant. The first time they see each other is in a bar that is frequently used by all the branches of the military.
The next time they meet is on Leah's home base where Quinn's team is training. What happens when a control loving sergeant runs into the big SEAL while away on vacation?
This was a great self-reflection story! Both our hero and heroine think they know themselves quite well, but upon meeting the other, realize maybe not so much. Is it really what they know or only what they think? The heat between them is off the charts scorching, and that is a good prompt to explore what they think they like or don’t like. Having someone by your side to push and bounce things off of certainly helped with those endeavours!
This is a great story but it is totally different from the rest. If you think book 8 is a little different than the rest this is really different but still a great story. I would recommend this book to everyone who likes a dirty little story with lots of heat and heart.
Love this book! The whole series is wonderful, but this is definitely my new favorite! It is a little spicier than usual for Zoe, but still such a sweet story, I love these two! I forgot I preordered this, and was so excited to find it on my kindle! You definitely won't regret buying this one!
Liked it better than book 8 as there was more of a story and not just sex. I love hot sex, don’t get me wrong. BUT I also love a good story of meeting, dating, interactions with friends....a story!
Liked Quinn a lot but didn’t warm up to Leah as much.
I loved the chemistry between Leah and Quinn. I loved the give and take of control, that was so, so hot. I'm happy that Quinn finally got his HEA. Can't wait to read the next one. Thank you Ms. York for another great story.
Quinn and Leah illustrate how sexual/loving activities within an exclusive relationship are accepted and sacred to that couple as long as consent is mutual. There is definitely a difference between Kinky and BDSM .
A woman dominating her man is not my cup of tea, but so York did a good job with this. Hero is an Alpha man and is excited about anything excites his lady, so the concept was OK.
The MCs were fun and flirty and both had a very interesting take on their sex life as both were dominant. Parts made me cringe but it was a good listen.
