Great Book

I didn't put it down until it was over. I just love Haley. She is so innocent and sweet but quite strong and just so likeable.
I like the character and relationship progression it was great to watch everything grow. The story was sometimes slow but with everything else it was no biggie.
I don't want to wait until next year though, I want the next one now.

My heart is breaking! This one brings out all the feels. I love this series and Autumn and Julia don't hold back as they pull you so far into these characters that you are riding the emotional roller coaster right there with them. This is how a book should be! Now excuse me as I cut this short to move on to book 3.5.

(second read)

Oh MAN...what an emotional rollercoaster!

This installment of The Stardust Series went from giddy highs with wonderful feels to frustrations over idiotic decisions to plenty of angst and wrenching emotion. And of course, the latter is where it ended. If I didn't already know Chamaeleon is out, I would be crazy upset at the cliffhanger! But it is (and I have already read it, so....:)

I still love these characters - especially the majority of the guys. And most of the time, I love Haley - though I have to say, less so in this book, because she kept a metric ton of annoying secrets and made some TSTL decisions. But hopefully it will all come right at the end.

Not even going to attempt to write any more here because

I. Need. Book 3.5. NOW.

Off to read... :)

UPDATE PROGRESS NOTES:
89.0% "Okay, I'm sorry, but Knox just does NOT seem 23. I buy Theo as 21, and Chase in that neighborhood too. But Knox, Liam and Jax need to be older. They act more like the 25-28ish range."

87.0% "Sigh...you are being TSTL Haley"

83.0% "Oh. My. God. I LOVE this scene. So. Many. Delicious. Feels!"

72.0% "Oh all the crazy good giggly shivery feels! *hand clap*"

63.0% "And here we have the "no dating Haley pact"...LOL I completely forgot there was one of those old standbys in this series..."

55.0% "The Arrow watching is just so sweet :)"

46.0% "This makes no sense...one: Ethan isn't there, so that frees up a bedroom, and two: they all stayed there before and there was specific mention of guest bedrooms. So Chase having no bedroom on Christmas Eve and sleeping on the couch makes no sense."

37.0% "Ethan is such a dick"

36.0% "You go girl! Nice to see a heroine who kicks butt despite being afraid and in an unfamiliar situation :)"

18.0% "Umm...wasn't Liam's ring a gold signet ring? I could swear it was, but here it says silver signet ring. Continuity issue? Anyone else remember?"

12.0% "Well, Haley being sweet and completely likeable sure didn't last long! She has become a bit of a brat."

8.0% "Team Haley!"

2.0% "Yay! And we start this one right off with Haley's secrets. *sigh*"

Pyxis is my favorite of the Stardust series so far. The main story thread about Haley's missing father is still the central theme, but she is living her life more and more. She's working, making a few girlfriends, reconnecting with her only former GF, and getting closer to most of the guys. Her life is finally becoming her own and with that, she's encountering a whole new set of emotions; anxiety, confusion, guilt, lust... She's also experiencing those wonderful flutters you get when you're around someone you've starting to fall in love with. She's coming to the realization that she's in love with all but one of her guys on team Jaguar. They are all clearly smitten with her and jealousy pops up here and there creating a bit of tension.

Although Haley needs to communicate more about her feelings with the guys (although I understand how difficult this would be), I like how she's handling everything. She's getting closer to them in a natural way. She's loving and caring; fun and thoughtful. Each one of the guy's characters has been developed so nicely that my favorite changes page by page. I can't blame Haley for wanting them all if I can't narrow it down myself.

There are several seriously sweet scenes in the book both with Haley and the guys one on one and as a group. Her connections with them and vice versa are portrayed exactly right. It's all made to feel so natural and real. It's not all good though. When encountered by the reigning manwhore of the group Haley shows strength of character. Although she has had feelings for him since the beginning, she calls him out on his behavior and shuts him down. While the consequences have a negative chain reaction, she dealt with the conversation with grace. Danger still exists and a new threat is directed towards Haley. She takes control of her life completely at this point. The results will impact everyone. Pyxis ends in a cliffhanger with major actions by one member of Team Jaguar and by Haley.decision. I can't wait for the next book to find out what happens next with these two and the others!

This is a reverse harem and it's the 3rd book in the Stardust Series. Also, it's a cliffhanger, a BIG one. The next book will not be out until Spring of 2017 so if you can't handle waiting then you should not read this yet. But it's so so good you want to read it now! I love this series and it just keeps getting better. Quick recap going into book 3, Haley and her dad were in hiding but she didn't know it. Bad things happened and she got seperated from him. The guys showed up and kinda sorta kidnapped her back to Santa Cruz. She moves in with Knox and Theo and starts working with all the guys at their "investigation" company while they are trying to help find her dad. So now that we are caught up. We get to spend more time with the guys and Jackson is really pushing his way to becoming a favorite. We get a more laid back and in depth look at him and his life. Liam gives us a more series side than the ever flirtatious rogue. Knox and Theo are just as loveable as always. Chase...well Chase stirs things up a bit by revealing a secret to Haley. Ethan loses major points. Major major points. I don't even know what to think about Ethan right now. We get to meet Jess and she gets to meet all the guys. The dynamics between Haley and all the guys are changing and it starts to cause some tension. Haley makes a decision on the hunt for her dad after finding out a few things. Someone finds out Haleys true identity and gives her an ultimatum that rocks everything. Then Ethan does something that makes Haley do something that seriously changes it all. And that's where we are left. Ahhh what am I going to do until next Spring?!?

Pyxis begins with Haley working for the company the guys are working at and still worried about her dad. That is until she finds out some information that the guys don't have and she's unsure if she should tell them or not. Things with Jackson and her have been difficult and it feels Ethan is pulling away as well, so now she's not sure what to do or who to turn to.

But when more bad things happen she decides to take matters into her own hands, but she's still unsure if it is the right thing to do or not.

This book starts off really kind of slow, and kind of a repeat of the previous books in certain ways. I was very frustrated with the fact that Haley couldn't learn some of the secrets the guys had, it drove me nuts.

But I understood it for the most part, what really bothered me about this book was how there wasn't much to it really till towards the end. It really picked up then a whole lot.
And it was really nice to see how Haley felt about each of the guys as well.

Then the ending was a cliffhanger that had me wish the next book was already out!

So, overall I really liked this one a lot. And I'm super excited to read the next one. I just hope the guys can figure their stuff out and that it includes Haley.

I am basically going to leave a review for all of the books thus far as I could not stop the entire series to leave a review. I was completely enthralled with each and every book in this series. I have no idea why I waited so long to read this, but if you love reverse harems, then don't wait! Grab book 1 immediately and then settle in. From the moment Chase and Haley bump into each other, I was intrigued. The chemistry is so palpable in each of the guys with Haley, I almost forget there are others as she is with each one. It such an amazing talent that Reed has by making me feel apart of their world. Although there are many reverse harem books out there, Reed has this unique perspective allowing the reader to feel the struggle of what the process of falling in love with multiple men and actually having it all. I don't want to ramble on, but all I can say is that this series made me laugh, cry, swoon, scream, take a cold shower, and fall in love with each book. I almost want to start all over again...hmmm maybe I will!

I really want to like this book series but....I skipped/skimmed so much of this book because it was irrelevant to the story. I didn't care what she was eating or what the house looked like-3 books in I want relationships developed and plot lines thickened and this book just didn't do that. the most compelling part was the last 5% of the whole book. the rest barely was worth reading. kinda disappointed but wasn't expecting much after the 2nd book.

This book is very similar to the last book. I still love the characters, but we are moving at a snails pace. We are still being told things we would rather "see", and the chapters seem to end too soon. Thankfully, some of the relationships are finally progressing, and it's about time. At the rate the relationships and the plot is moving, I am having trouble seeing how the authors are going to give this series a satisfying conclusion(if this remains a five book series).

I have to wait how long for book four?!? Ugh! You just broke my heart with this cliffhanger! Of course, if I weren't loving the series, I wouldn't care, so there's that at least!

I just can't explain how excited I am about this series. This book steps everything up a notch from romantic tension to plot and ends on cliffhanger. I love Haley and the guys (bar one who is on my black list and who I'm still very angry at) and you even see more of Haley's elusive best friend.

Wow! An addicting series!

If you like CL Stone's Academy series, you will probably like this one. Some similarities...full of suspense, twistful moments, hot guys, and heartbreaks along the way!

A team of six hot guys! Ethan, Chase, Knox, Theo, Liam & Jackson take care of Haley

I'm glad I stuck with this series. This book got much better. I thought Haley was more relatable and the things she was struggling with were believable and made her a realistic, dynamic character. I am not a fan of Ethan. I kind of hope he is gone for good.
Chase is my favorite!!! Then Theo. Then all the rest except Ethan. Ethan doesn't even make the list any more. And its not that he did anything wrong per say, but I just don't care for his behavior.

Pyxis

Haley finally chose a path. I agree with it. How is she going to have a relationship with all six of them unless it turns into one of these fantasy reverse Harem series. I feel for Ethan. He tried to make the change, but I understand how he could not be around her and the other guys. It's completely crazy and complicated situation which I still don't understand, but the writing is good so I will continue with the next book. I've been attracted to several people who were friends, but I never considered being in a relationship with three or four people at one time. Feelings are going to be hurt even when you say no I can deal with it. Anyway, just my observation about this situation.

It was okay

I'm saying it was okay because for the majority of the book it was still uneventful. I still like how there was a lot of dialogue between characters. You really get to know each of the guys and who they are as a person; however, it doesn't make up for the fact that the plot took forever to begin.

I hate to admit it, but I couldn't put this one down. The romantic tension really ramps up in this one, but the storyline regarding Haley's dad is almost an afterthought now.
Although, to be in Haley's shoes with the Sexy Six Pack? To be so lucky? #fictionalcharacterproblems.
I dare say I'm excited for the next installment!
