*mild spoilers*
I hate to say this, but this was totally disappointing. I have so many issues with this book that I almost don't even feel like writing it all. This book and series could have been so much more than it is. Silent Secrets seems completely rushed and half finished.
All of the characters were cheated. There could have been so much more development in the relationships between Tucker, Van, Grandma Betty, and Faith. There needed to be. Tyler was barely in this book. Faith's uncle shouldn't have even been mentioned for all that really happened with his character in the end. It seemed pointless to bring him into it. What was the detective's motive to go after Faith like she did...especially going to illegal extremes to get her convicted? We will never know. I guess we are supposed to believe it was just because. I enjoyed the addition of Sonya and Bates, but it seemed like they were forgotten about at the end for the most part. We never get to see Faith confront Talia.
The typos in the book were out of control. Talia's name was left blank throughout the story. It was very distracting. I usually ignore typos, but this one really bothered me.
Finally, throughout the series there was a big build up toward her first time with the guys. Faith and the guys bring it up repeatedly. It is focused on a lot, and in the end we get nothing.
In my opinion, this series should have been longer. There was a lot of potential here, and in the end it fell so short. There wasn't enough time for everything that was introduced to develop. I just wanted more from the ending. I kept reading this series thinking I would get a proper ending eventually, and I didn't.

Finally, the secrets are revealed on what really happened that fateful night when Daniels' parents died and a trial is held.
This felt like the longest of the four books even though I read it fairly quickly, like all the others. It was definitely longer than the first book, that's for sure, and I finally have no complaints whatsoever about the length *lol*.
I liked the plot, although I would have liked more scenes with only Tyler and Faith, but maybe that's just because I like him the most out of the guys. There were some romantic scenes and some action, that was definitely not missing, but again, not with Tyler.
Overall, it was a great conclusion to the story and I liked it a lot. I probably won't be picking up Just Married, unless sometime in the future, as I already got the ending that I wanted.

I spent my weekend reading this series.. and looking back Im like whhhhyyyy? It wasn't a bad series. Really it wasn't. It just wasn't great. There wasn't a whole lot of development and it's some serious insta love shit. I feel like there was a lot of un answered questions. Like the whole thing with Talia.. What the heck happened with her? I am also SOO disappointed that we didn't get a love scene of her first time with all the guys. It's a new adult book right? So why the heck couldn't we have seen some of that action? Oh well. Tis life.
This is almost like a guilty pleasure type book for me. Because I knew it wasn't great while I was reading it but I still couldn't stop.
I know that there is a 5th book. Well I think it was just an little bit extra that the author added in for the readers. And that is super awesome of her. But I don't think I will read it.. Hell I say that but I probably will. I have no self control.
This is almost like a guilty pleasure type book for me. Because I knew it wasn't great while I was reading it but I still couldn't stop.

I think this book is the perfect place to end. I've read all of these books and the story was sweet and I liked it but I think I'm done lol. It's a really long series just for her story. Does that make sense? Sure there's other things going on but honestly I think I'm done. And leave it on a happy note. I do recommend this series to my friends that want a teenage happily ever after at least at this book lol. I'm not going to say what happens in the next two books because I don't know. I just want to end it here.

I have just begun reading this on my Kindle and am really confused about why the name of Tucker's sister doesn't actually appear in the text. In the second half of chapter 2 (beginning about location 400), every time her name should appear, there is just an extra space.
I have enjoyed the Faith Series thus far and was excited to start reading book 4, but this is really distracting me. I think her name was Talia in book 3, but for some reason my edition of book 4 is simply missing her name. Has anyone else noticed this?

SPOILERS THROUGHOUT:
I liked this book. It gave me everything I asked for in my previous reviews and I was happy with that. There were more details and more descriptions throughout the story. The book was also longer allowing Nikki Bolvair to slow down the pacing and set the scenes right. If you compared this book to Love Is Not Lost you wouldn't even think it was the same author because of the major improvement in the writing. Nikki has grown so much in her writing throughout this series and I am really proud of her for it.
While this was a major improvement from the previous books in those aspects, in others, it fell short. For example, I thought that the last four chapters or so were really rushed and I didn't enjoy them. I feel like Nikki had set up a lot of things to be plot twists and while she laid the ground work for those things, she threw all of them at me at once. There were like five or six major plot twists in the last four chapters of the book and it was overwhelming. I felt like every time Nikki got done explaining one of the plot twists, she would jump into the next one and it cheapened the shock factor for me. I didn't get as much out of the plot twists as I felt I should have.
Another thing I didn't like was also in the final chapters. There has been such a build up of Faith and the boys' relationship throughout the series that you would think, their first time together would have been written into the story. Also, in the epilogue, the boys proposed to Faith which should have been really special, but it wasn't. Nikki Bolvair rushed through and glossed over both scenes and I felt like I was cheated out of the story in a way. Because of this and the plot twists fiasco, I deducted stars that the book had up until that point.
Overall, besides those last few chapters, I really enjoyed this book. I had a lot of fun while reading it and I have enjoyed watching Faith and the other characters grow throughout the series. I am contemplating if I will be reading the final book or not because it seems like it is going to be just one long, drawn out, epilogue.

What a letdown :-(
I dunno about this one
I was so ready to write an excited positive review of this story. Its a really great real world, sweet but actually plausible RH. Getting immersed in this story - the characters, the world, the passion...It's easy.
Until it's suddenly...NOT.
Something happens about midway through this story. (Spoilers to follow)
Randomly, Faith demands her parents adopt two (unknown to them) kids. Just...out of nowhere. And they agree. Just like that. This complete shift in the story left me so confused that I frowned at the story for the next few pages while I tried to reconcile it. I was so confused.
But wait - there's more.
The author threw in an even MORE random, shady, "wtf" plot banana peel. Basically no reason, Faith gets...re-adopted?... by a family she's not even close to. And it happens fast. LIke, SO fast. A single paragraph. So at that point, the dots are no longer connecting for me, and I read everything up until the epilogue...The SECOND epilogue, that is, since the first one is at the beginning of the book...because I kinda just don't believe in these ppl, OR the writer, anymore.
Why did she do it? I guess it was a quick, "oops" fix to a plot development? What did I just spend my money on?
Not to mention that, after all the steamy-ish passionate scenes tearing us up for an explosive actual ultimate act, the writer completely omits it. That p*sses me off, because up until the actual act, which she skipped over, the passionate scenes were very descriptive and engaging.

😕 huh... that’s it?
So I enjoyed the start of Faith’s story in book 1 and even book 2 but then things took a turn for the... I don’t know how to describe it. I just know I was getting bored and losing interest. But I wanted to finish book 4. It’s great to finally figure out the mystery to her story, although I wasn’t expecting it, it all seemed rushed and thrown together. Also seems like the editor was rushing because I was getting a headache from all the mistakes... Raina not Rania! There were a few lines I gave up on trying to understand because of how it was written.
On a positive note the steamy scenes with the McGuire brothers gave me goose bumps and had me smiling but other than that I was bored. I found myself rushing through pages just to get through it. What happened to Thalia, Van and Tucker and the rest of the Manto family? How about Mr White? Like I said rushed. I still have book 5 but I’m seriously rethinking spending the time to read it. Maybe it’ll answer some of my questions on the other characters but considering how book 4 was... Hmm, keep on reading or go to another series?
All in all it’s probably a good starter series for anyone just getting into Reverse Harem if you can get past the bad editing.

The author's idea on the story has great potential and it's such a pity seeing it turning out in this way.
The real problem here is the book's lenght. It's not the first time I write about this.
1)Everything is so rushed I can barely breathe. Anything possible happen in like 25 pages.
2)I don't like the fact that the author threw in Faith's uncle like he was barely worth the mention.
3)The stalker and the biggest problem of this book like was Talia wasn't even in the story the last chapters.
4)Not to mention Tucker's grandmother. Faith was family for her even before she met her. How the f*ck? Faitg couldn't look at Tucker's face seconds before and in a blink of an eye he became family?
Everything is confused and I didn't even talk about all the typos in the book. It's like the author has ideas while writing the book and decides to add them. Ideas need development and unfortunately it's not the case for this book like all the others in the series.
I'll keep on reading the last one, even though the story is not well written and not well developed like it deserves, I'm curious about the ending.

Who edited this book? What a mess. The fourth book in the series is hard to get through. Spelling errors. Sentence structure issues. Character names misspelled or missing. I felt I had stop to guess as to what the author ment sometimes. I think the fact the main character still needs counseling and still has not had any feels unrealistic. Same issues she has had since book one have increasingly gotten worse - night terrors, anxiety, sleep walking, violence in sleep or in a conflict. There are still some redeeming moments but they are few and far between. Characters are neglected. I think the author may have forgotten we are all here for the relationship development with the McGuire boys and possibly Tucker and his family with this installment. At the end of day the missed opportunities by the author to tell a better story with the wonderful characters she had developed in previous books was what I was left feeling. Not as bad as A Game of Thrones Season 8 but almost. Maybe that is why there are two more books? The authors way of apologizing for the mediocre attempt produced in this book? Let's hope. Because I already paid for them and feel I should read them if I bought them.

I'm going to review books 1-4 right here, because I read them so fast they all meshed into one.
These books were so quick & easy, and I was hooked by the story alone in the first book. I had to keep going to see what happened.
Faith has her own issues going on, and needs to be saved. & thats exactly what the McGuire boys did for her.
This was such a cute & loving Reverse Harem story, and it met a lot of the key points for what I look for in these stories.
I did expect this to be more on the New Adult side of things, when it really fell into Young Adult.
I gave this book 4 stars because it was such a cute wrap up of this story. I fell in love with the boys for all different reasons.

This series is getting significantly better as it goes on like 10 times better than that first book. So many details were left out of the first book because it was so short and it was very very frustrating but I liked the idea so I kept going and also because I’m incapable of starting a series and not finishing it this is one of the rare occasions that I am 1000% thankful that I continued reading because the series just got so good oh my golly I can’t wait for the next one

It was fine. Faith can be annoying and I don't get why the granny and tucker storyline is still going.
I am still baffled by the idea of a 17-year-old working as a "para-parent" with traumatized orphans and foster kids. How dare she force her own guardians to adopt too. It just reminded me how immature Faith was.

Daniels life is far from simple. Tuckers past with Tyler becomes an issue. She also gets some part time jobs. Both are great but not without their difficulties. She and the guys continue to deal with their pasts and hers and try and process new information handed to them. It’s a trying time but there’s good characters arches and growth.

I loved this entire series but I am a bit bitter about the ending. All four previous books were like foreplay and right when they are all finally about to do the deed, it ENDS :( My inner freak wants more. But there is one more book so there's still hope for me yet!

Ok I am putting my review for the last 3 books altogether as I read them one after another in a short space of time and my issues with them kind of developed over all three books but were so blatant and ridiculos by book 4 that I couldn’t overlook them anymore.
So random thoughts from the series: While I didn;t mind the 3 brothers 1 girl set up in book one I did expect that Faith would develop strong individual relationships with each brother over the course of the series making it believable that she would have a relationship with all 3. Unfortunately I never got that sense. In fact all 3 seem pretty interchangeable from Faith’s perspective. And even though she claims to love all 3 the only brother she seemed to have an actual distinct relationship with was Tyler. There was nothing to her relationship with Lincoln or Kayden that she didn’t have with tyler except the chance for lots more sex with different partners (and while this may have its attraction it is not love).
Then there were the ever increasing ridiculous connections which stretched credulity to the breaking point and beyond as the series progresses. I mean Raina just happens to have been Austin’s gf. Not only that but she was driving the car when Austin dies. A bit of a stretch but ok. But it doesn’t stop there. It just happens to be Austin (and Faith’s) parents who hit the car and killed him. I mean what are the freaking odds of that. And why did they hit the car? Cause the mum was texting with a long lost sibling. Who is this long lost sibling. Why it is Faith’s college professor. FFS And the, then we have the most ridiculous one of all. Somehow Faith’s foster mother Sarah just happened to be jogging past Faith’s place at the exact time her dad was attempting to kill her and was the one to bash him on the head and save her. Are you fucking kidding me!!
And speaking of unnecessary and out of left field things we have Tuckers shady family adopting Faith out of the blue. Umm seriously on the strength of a 10 min meeting (she didn’t even interview when she was hired) and a single day trip to pick up stock (where she spent most of it in a different area to Faith) Grandma Betty now considers Faith “family”to the extent that she freaking adopted her. WTF.
Then there was the whole arrest based on an ILLEGAL (yes illegal with no warrant done by a coerced teen) recording where Faith admits not that she killed her father but that she doesn’t know whether she did or not cause she can’t remember. Umm that is NOT a confession, nor is it any different from what she said to the police at the time but is now somehow enough for her to be arrested and arraigned? Putting aside Dect Yasmin weird and never explained vendetta to ‘get’ a 13yr abuse victim who was bashed so much she freaking died and had to be resuscitated for the murder of her father (which if we take as given explains why she would arrest her) but does not explain in any way why any half-way competent attorney/DA would let it go to court.

I mean what are the freaking odds of that. And why did they hit the car? Cause the mum was texting with a long lost sibling. Who is this long lost sibling. Why it is Faith’s college professor. FFS And the, then we have the most ridiculous one of all. Somehow Faith’s foster mother Sarah just happened to be jogging past Faith’s place at the exact time her dad was attempting to kill her and was the one to bash him on the head and save her. Are you fucking kidding me!!
And speaking of unnecessary and out of left field things we have Tuckers shady family adopting Faith out of the blue. Umm seriously on the strength of a 10 min meeting (she didn’t even interview when she was hired) and a single day trip to pick up stock (where she spent most of it in a different area to Faith) Grandma Betty now considers Faith “family”to the extent that she freaking adopted her. WTF.
Then there was the whole arrest based on an ILLEGAL (yes illegal with no warrant done by a coerced teen) recording where Faith admits not that she killed her father but that she doesn’t know whether she did or not cause she can’t remember. Umm that is NOT a confession, nor is it any different from what she said to the police at the time but is now somehow enough for her to be arrested and arraigned? Putting aside Dect Yasmin weird and never explained vendetta to ‘get’ a 13yr abuse victim who was bashed so much she freaking died and had to be resuscitated for the murder of her father (which if we take as given explains why she would arrest her) but does not explain in any way why any half-way competent attorney/DA would let it go to court.

I have gotten very into reading Reverse Harem novels lately. It's super hard to find decent ones that don't just read like fan fiction. This series is really good though. Both the characters and the story are fully fleshed out and well written. I'm enjoying becoming invested in this world and pleased that I discovered this author.

Well I pulled an all nighter and finished this book. I thought that this book was better developed than the other three. I liked that it was longer and had more meat to the story. I felt that it still jumps around too much. I liked how the relationships developed more. I was surprised at who killed her father. The whole going to jail part was a little out of no where, which is fine, but I feel like they could have done more to explain what was going on better. And all of the sudden being adopted. I would be pissed if it were me. That was a strange twist that I feel was not really important. I also felt that the whole "sex" issue was such a build up but then there was like two sentences about it happening. Even though I found issues with it, I really enjoyed the story. It was nice to Faith develop and open her heart. I am looking forward to seeing how this continues.

Seriously? That's it? Three books of not knowing who was to blame for Daniels' dad's death and we get the answer so easily?
All the series seemed very rushed (there is some benefit in that, but still), but this book was like wow... And not in a good sense.
Same with the last love scene. I waited for that so long, the love scenes with each of the boys were pretty descriptive and for the final scene we get this? I wouldn't even call it a watereddown version, as it was basically non existent. Veeeery disappointed.
Glad this series is over though.
Would have given 2 stars, but since I rated the previous books at 3 stars, when they were slightly above that, I compensated here.

Silent Secrets by Nikki Bolvair was an amazing read. This book is the fourth and final book in the series but I am sure we haven't seen the last of these characters. Throughout the series, you will follow Faith (Daniels), Tyler, Kayden and Lincoln on their journey to define and navigate their unconventional relationship all while battling the past as it affects their present and future.
Bolvair did a great job in Silent Secrets as everything started to come together about Faith's past. Just when the reader thinks they have it figured out, she throws in another twist to keep the reader guessing on the edge if their seats. I have read books where the author kept throwing in twist after twist and much more drama than necessary until the plot was one convoluted web. That is not the case in this book. Some of the twists were small and some were large but they were all presented in a way that added to the story instead of taking away from it.
I must admit that I cried through the last portion of the book. There were spots where I full out laughed, spots where I lightly chuckled and portions where I wanted to throw my device because I was just mad. That is a credit to the great writing of Bolvair. Over the duration of the series, I became emotionally invested in these characters and felt everything they felt.
I highly recommend this series. It has everything.....great lead characters, fun and crazy secondary characters, a well developed story line and every emotion known to man. ❤️

Silent Secrets is the conclusion to The Faith Series, a group of 4 reverse harem novellas featuring Faith Daniels and The McGuire Brothers. A short, entertaining read. This is the book that finally gives us the answers to Faith's past. There are a few surprising twists and it's good that she can finally let the past rest and stop carrying any guilt.
There are some sweet scenes between Faith and her guys, her family, her "kids", and her girlfriends. There is also a little humor inserted with Tucker and a surprise twist there as well. However, I was so unhappy with the book's ending. The author completely cheated the readers. The relationships culmination we have all been waiting for is completely skipped over. The three McGuire brothers take Faith for a romantic week to romance her and take her as theirs together as promised. Despite all the teasers leading up to it we get nothing. It's completely glossed over and we're told it happened and that's it. Then we jump forward to the next major event a year or so later. If I was rating the book on this alone it would be a 2 star for my disappointment.

It's been an emotional roller coaster through this series. We fell in love with a broken Faith way back in book 1. A girl who had been through more than anyone ever should. A girl who wasn't sure of her past, what truly happened, and no idea what the future held for her. Then we met and fell in love with the McGuire brothers. How could you not love each of them equally. This wasn't just a story about a girl and her boys though. There were questions that needed answers, secrets being kept, BIG secrets! We finally got those answers. We find out what really happened the night her father died, who was behind the text that started it all, how Faith ends up in JAIL!!!!, whose behind the messages coming to Lincoln and Daniels, and Tucker, oh Tucker! What are we gonna do with that boy?! I have loved each book in this series and I LOVED this one too. I think Nikki did a great job of bringing it all together. Although I am sad that Daniels and my boys story has ended I look forward to starting the next journey Nikki takes us on.

I was disappointed with book one but continued the series to see what happened. I felt book three was an improvement but this book has taken me back to being very disappointed.
The characters really lack development and then suddenly you find out one of Faith's teachers is her uncle!!
I still personally feel that Faith should have started her relationship with Tyler and not gone in with all three brothers immediately. What I also found frustrating is there has been so much build up to Faith being with the brothers intimately and yet there is nothing around this in the story, it's a fine deal and she is now sleeping with the brothers on different nights.
I also struggle to believe that the boys father and Brady who are both police officers are oblivious to the bed sharing that is going on in their houses.
There could have been so much more between Faith and Tucker and the brothers and Tucker but it just lacks ummph

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Silent Secrets and can honestly say that it was the perfect conclusion to the Faith series. The McGuire boys were both supportive and understanding which is something that I've come to expect from them, and Faith was finally starting to feel like she was on solid ground.
Some secrets were revealed and new characters introduced which all led up to the unveiling of what really happened the night Faith's parents died.
No spoilers, but I was definitely surprised!! Didn't see it coming at all!
Faith started her journey feeling like an outsider in the Brady household but by the end of this book she is surrounded by love and family, some of which is unexpected and couldn't of been predicted but I'll let you read the book to find out thise details! ;)

Disappointed!
I loved the first 3 books in this series. Absolutely loved them. In fact, I loved them so much I was counting down the minutes until my preordered copy of Silent Secrets would hit my kindle. I started reading right away... Like stayed up just to read it and boy do I regret it. By chapter 4 I knew I was going to be let down. That spark that was in the writing in the first 3 books was completely missing... Like the author was finished with these characters before she even began book 4. The errors were awful... When you have characters names missing and instead it reads as " 's"... There is a problem. But the biggest disappointment was the lack of clear voices each character had prior to this book. They all sounded the same. I missed Faith, Tyler, Kaden, & Lincoln.
