Programming for Powerful Choices

Rate this book
Be comfortable with the successful version of yourself that already exists and build upon those strengths and attributes. The key programs of human behavior are habit and imagination, and they are far more powerful than logic or will power. Success and happiness are not accidents that just happen to some people and not to others; they are predictable results created by deliberate ways of thinking and acting.

To be an achiever requires the release of self-sabotaging behaviors. Ask: have I unknowingly blocked my own success with feelings and beliefs of inadequacy, which I have proved incorrect by my actions?

The way you feel from moment to moment is a direct result of the way you use the snapshots, videos, and sounds stored in your mind.

What would it take for everything to turn out all right?
What will I think of myself if I do the best job I am capable of?
What will I think of myself of if I only put forth a halfway effort?

Grow with the knowledge that you have no idea where or if there are limitations to the special qualities you offer and what you can achieve. You do not want to be accused on having 'mental arthritis' meaning you are stuck in a limited framework of mindsets and viewpoints.

Imagine, with as many details possible, how you want to look and feel as you offer a winners performance. While memories and patterns from the past are helpful, today's imagination factor is what has to be employed to pull these together for the vision you have of tomorrow. Use your senses through pictures, sounds, tastes, physical movement and the written word.

Mental flexibility supports you in achieving dreams and goals because you are open-minded and willing (even when nervous) to accept new challenges and adventures. Tapping into the incredible power of your mind with focus, agreement, and intuitive forces is like a laser beam pointed at success.

Do you bypass opportunities you 'know in your heart' would be beneficial because your internal judges immediately assaulted you with reasons (excuses) not to do it? Do not be concerned about placing attention or concern on the how, when, what, why, and where questions of accomplishing those dreams and goals. If you are willing to believe in yourself to achieve it, ways will be found. Seek out people you can turn to and investigate the resources needed to strive for success.

Learn from others: what they did right, where mistakes occurred, and what they did to continue pursuing their goal.

When you take hold of a problem and view it as an opportunity to brainstorm and use your critical and creative thinking skills, you open up your mind to many more options that can potentially resolve the situation.

This is one of many books in the series Permission Granted Today. All take an in-depth look at a specific topic which gives you an immersion from different perspectives.

I hope you enjoy the material and align your powerful programming to make choices you appreciate and trust to build a better life for yourself and others.
