National Weather News’ anchor Reid Knight accepted the fact that he’d been dispatched to Treasure Harbor to put together a pilot for a reality series which would uncover the truth behind the secret treasure that had gripped the town—as long as he was able to keep a secret of his own. He’d spent some time in Treasure Harbor covering the large weather event of Igor last year, and had some theories about Drake Burton, his star-crossed love with Camilla Callahan, and the treasure that had been part of the town’s history for hundreds of years. But in order to connect all the dots, he needs help from the one person in town who can make his show a success.
Bree realizes that the access Reid has can help clear her family’s name once and for all. Along the way, though, both Reid and Bree come to find out that there’s truth and lies in all legends—and the same is true in their own lives. HIS TIMELESS TREASURE. Kristen Ethridge
Bree has a degree in archeology, and a distant relative to the pirate. With that going for her, otherwise coming back to her home town, she questions. They treat her like some undergraduate, and Tuesday with a staff meeting she dreads. Then add to the long standing feud with the Callahan’s, could her family name be cleared. Reid back in town as a newscaster wanting her help, and maybe romance. Another delightful read in this series.

.His Timeless Treasure: Treasure Harbor Series Book #5 is by Kristen Ethridge. This series consists of “eight novellas centered around the quest to find the treasure hidden by Drake Burton, in the seventeen-hundreds.” Legend says that the treasure is somewhere near Treasure Harbor, North Carolina. Thousands of treasure seekers have come to Treasure Harbor looking for the treasure. One of those treasure seekers is Reid Knight, a weather forecaster from New York whose paper had sent him for a story to save his newspaper.
Bree Burton had lived in this area for a long time. She had come home and taken a spot at the college and was considered an expert on the Burton history. She would give him the information she finds and he would help her clear her family name. Could they do anything other without sparks flying? Would they be the ones to find the treasure?

Kristen Ethridge is my new favorite author sweet escape books. Her novella, His Timeless Treasure, is book 5 in the 7 book series about the picturesque town of Treasure Harbor, North Carolina and the mystery of legendary pirate Drake Burton. College professor and archeologist hometown girl, Dr. Bree Burton and well-known weatherman hunk Reid Knight fall for each other and solve a three hundred year old pirate mystery along with the help of a old recluse and Bree’s 102 year old great grandmother.
Kristen creates characters that draw you into their story.
I also loved that she tagged her Port Provident/Hope and Hearts series in this story.

Reid Knight, a weatherman at NWN News seeks her help to discover the secret of the treasure. Little does he know he is in for much more.
The story progressed at a good pace as a mystery starts to evolve. There are tenderness and sweet moments during the storyline that made me connect with the characters.
The book ended on a positive note and is inspiring and inspirational. I enjoyed it very much. For a short read it had everything I look for in a story and wrapped up nicely in the end.

This fifth installment in the Treasure Harbor series is an entertaining story of pirates’ treasure, secrets, and family relationships. The plot of this easy-to-read novella is well-constructed, and the characters are delightful. If you like romance and mystery, you will enjoy this read.

His Timeless Treasure is an interesting romance with an old mystery. I loved Bree and Reid and their bonding over a love of history. I cannot say some things I want to because I would spoil the story. I guess all I can say is that Bree and Reid have some great chemistry. She wants to find out what happened to a relative and he is tracing his family tree. They pursue both mysteries together. There are many very satisfying scenes in this fascinating book! I highly recommend it.

A charming seaside town, a feud between two founding families, a local legend about pirate Drake Burton and his long lost treasure, a hurricane that unearths some gold, a whole town of people who have gone treasure crazy, and a sweet romance about what we should treasure--what more could you wish for? This book was a page turner and I highly recommend it!

I give this book 5 stars it was well written where you would not put it down.i love where Reid and Bree, go hunting to find out about the wrong of her family to clear the family name but,instead they find each other.

As usual Kristen Ethridge writes about people you could and possibly do know. She brings her characters to life and you believe their story. I enjoyed the history and mystery put into this. I love the Gulf coast and she really takes me there.

This book was interesting because it was about hidden pirate treasure on Treasure Harbor. It was fun to learn about Treasure Harbor, its descendants, and the rumored pirate treasure. I enjoyed seeing how the story unfolded and I really enjoyed Reed finding his own timeless treasure on the island.

I really enjoyed this quick read. Bree and Reid are great characters that are even better together. I really liked al the supporting characters.

Another exciting book in the Treasure Harbor series! The 2 main characters Bree Burton & Reid Knight have "both gotten good at keeping secrets." It's a fun fantasy to search for hidden or lost treasure, and end up finding the real treasure in the people around you. Kristen Ethridge quotes a favorite verse: "Store your treasures in Heaven, where moths & rust cannot destroy, & thieves cannot break in & steal." Such a fun & captivating book that is well-written with well-developed characters, and a must read for anyone! Another Great Read in the Treasure Harbor Series!

Dr Bree Burton, is an archeologist and college professor that has returned to Treasure Harbor and she meets Reid Knight ,meteorologist and journalist. He is cute but he is looking for the treasure.
Against her better judgement ,she agrees to help him.

When Reid comes to see Bree she never expected to get interested in him. Watching these two work together is amazing. Miles is truly a remarkable person. What he does for Reid is incredible. Reid's loyalty to Mandy is beautiful. You can feel God working throughout this whole book. This book deserves a higher rating than a five star review.
