One hell of a book. One hell of a tale. I'm yet to read the English book but I really don't know whether I want to. The translation was THAT good.
The amount of emotions brought out by this tale is unbelievable. I never thought a tale about transformation of a simple Chinese farmers life and everything around it will be so heartfelt.
O-Lang, it's heart-wrenching what you had to face in life in happy times and unhappy times alike. Without you, none of the latter achievements would've been possible just like nothing would be possible without the Earth.
A classic everyone must read. It will speak to your heart, sneak in, and will quietly stay there just like O-Lang quietly fell asleep behind the cauldron on her wedding night.
