I didn't stop giving hand jobs because I wasn't good at it. I stopped giving hand jobs because I was the best at it.

come to my blog!

She's hired by Susan who claims the house she shares with her husband and stepson is haunted.
"Empathetic silence is one of the most underused weapons in the world."
The psychic is used to telling people what they want...but the more time she spends in the house, the more she begins to wonder if there might be a smidge of the supernatural in this world.
"But she did invite me to her house, and women like that don’t invite over women like me unless they want something."
Whew. I honestly still don't know what to think about this one. It's written by Gillian Flynn, so I feel like I need to love it - because I've loved everything else she's written...but I'm just not sure.
"Nothing to worry about at all."
“I quit my job after a three-year period, as carpal tunnel syndrome is a very real thing.”
“These are people whose primary purpose is to live in the city but feel like they are in the suburbs”
“The only thing I really knew about Mike was he loved books. He recommended books with the fervor I’ve always craved as an aspiring nerd: with urgency and camaraderie. You have to read this! Pretty soon, we had our own private book club.”
“How do you keep a thousand books in one room and then call the room a den?”
“An angry stepson and a husband who was always away, no wonder she let her mind go to dark places.”
“Empathetic silence is one of the most underused weapons in the world.”

I went to bed last night shaking my head and smiling after reading Gillian Flynn's new short story. (written for George R. R. Martin)
Yep, it's dark, Yep, it's creepy-weird, and Yep, it has an ill-fated ambiguous ending and a nameless narrator. (no more hints)
