Monkey Business

Summer receives the opportunity of a lifetime when she scores a placement in a volunteer program at a zoo before the fall college classes begin. She loves the blackback gorillas, and she is under Ben, her mentor, who is over that area. Summer is careless when it comes to being on time and irresponsible in making smart choices. Ben decides that she has pushed the issue too many times and threatens her with losing the placement or a spanking. When she puts herself in serious jeopardy at work, he spanks her. This story covers Summer and some very poor choices she makes and Ben's heavy handed guidance. The story has several spanking scenes and one moderately explicit sex scene at the end.

SAVING SUMMER is a charming, romance with sparks flying between an internship zookeeper and her mentor.

Summer is eager to care for the animals -- especially the baby gorilla named Pickles. Still a teenager, she finds herself at odds with 'adulting'. She is late to work, stays out partying with her roommate, and collecting traffic tickets. All things her mentor Ben finds annoying. But he has taken a special interest in his intern.

Ben gives her chores that he balances with fun times with the gorillas. And when necessary, he adds his firm hand to correct her errors.

A quick, enjoyable read with humor and a budding romance.

Saving Summer
: Constance Masters

Once again I didn't read the last sentence of the description in the preview. I appreciated the mature content warning at the beginning so I wasn't totally shocked.

A young intern meets a man that thinks she needs discipline. Not as severe as other spanking book I listened to.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Jim Sartor
