Collected together for the first time ever, these are the UK-exclusive comic strip escapades of Finn and Jake, featuring all your favourite characters in a series of ridiculous and extremely silly adventures that see our plucky heroes battle giant candy-eating hedgehogs, The Magic Man, Rock Wizards, Egg Pixies and one extremely angry squirrel. Also contains the hilarious Consequences-style illustrated cliffhanger series Finn & Jake's Never-Ending, Death-Defying Quest.

Collected material from the show's UK tie-in comic. The first half of the book is one-shots written by familiar names from the British comics scene (Cavan Scott, Rory McConville and the like), with art that captures the feel of the show even if it doesn't exceed or reinvent it. None of this stuff is as good as the best of the longer Adventure Time comics - though the giant hedgehog story is incredibly cute - but nor is any as bad as the worst, and they're all short enough that even the least characterful pieces don't have chance to drag. The back end, and I use the term advisedly, is a fairly long prose piece, written as a game of Consequences by half a dozen writers, and somewhat obsessed with butts. It's extremely silly even by Adventure Time standards, but this is fine with me.
