Kim and Dave are on holiday in Barcelona. One day they go for a walk in the old town and sit down in a quiet place, but then the terror begins. A man with frightening eyes and a knife is chasing Kim in the small, dark streets - who will help her?

Run for Your Life - Stephen Waller (1996) [Penguin Readers Beginner (Level 1)]
Genre: Fiction/ English Graded Readers Pages: 32 Rating: 5/10
Theme: Crime/ Heroism/ Law enforcement
Opener: “The big street with its cafes and shops and people was behind them now. They walked slowly”
Summary: Kim is running through the streets of the old town. She is frightened. A man with dark eyes and a knife is looking for her. He is going to catch her. This holiday in beautiful Barcelona is suddenly very dangerous. Where is Kim's friend Dave? What can she do?
Final Review: The heroic movie-like adventure of Kim and Dave is a bit lackluster. Safe to say they do not leave their day job to become a crime-fighting duo at the end. Some things are to be left to the movies.
I often think why people are so Curious about other life until one day i felt it myself being full of curiousity and tried my best to find the answer. Seeing Dave and Kim adventure has reminded me about people nowdays and myself. Even though they know it's something dangerous, they keep do it.
Anyway, i read this book 15 minutes only. Wow, proud of myself :))
It's a silly book, but for a beginner it's a good start, entertaining and is a fast read you will read it in 15 minutes I recommend it for who is starting to read book as a first book and it will get you out of a reading slump.
