Melissa Parker’s secret is out.

Now that the entire world knows she’s dating Sam Morneau, Mel suddenly finds herself and her relationship under the intense scrutiny of celebrity gossip bloggers, curious fans, and appropriately concerned family members.

But then, that’s nothing compared to the other secrets and scandals that plague The Kind of September. In the midst of their long-anticipated world tour, a toxic combination of infidelity and betrayal has left the band and its fan base angry, confused, and ultimately broken.

No one ever said that life with the world’s most popular boy band was easy, but in spite of everything she's seen, Mel is still willing to believe that it’s worth it.

I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Like all the other books, this one was so good!

This book was filled with nonstop craziness. It was pretty much bombshell after bombshell. What happened in book two was just the tip of the iceberg. So. Much. Drama. But I loved every second of it (I’m a sucker for celebrity drama. It’s my guilty pleasure). I just couldn’t believe all the things that were happening. Much like the last 50 pages of the previous book, it was utter insanity.

description

Aside from the drama aspect, I loved Mel and Chloe’s friendship. I liked that Chloe would text Mel and check in with her whenever she heard something about the band or Mel. It was really nice seeing their friendship develop especially after their initial rocky start. I hope we see even more of her in the next book.

I also loved that this book focused on their tour. I loved the places they visited and the behind the scenes glimpse of what it’s like being on tour. Since I am an RVer, I can definitely relate to the small bathroom space. Those showers are tiny!

Overall, this was an excellent continuation of the series. I cannot wait to see how it all ends!

Melissa Parker is the kind of girl who likes to stay in the background. Sam Morneau is the complete opposite. He's outgoing, loves attention, and just happens to be apart of the hottest boy band The Kind of September. Mel and Sam have been dating since November. They've kept it a secret and liked it that way.
Until...
Their secret is out!! Duh Duh Dunn
Now there the target of intense scrutiny of celebrity gossip bloggers, curious fans, and appropriately concerned family members.
When I read this book it made me feel so many different feelings. At one point I'm crying for the characters, at the next page I'm laughing my head off. I loved this book so much! I really enjoyed how there were so many twists and turns. I also enjoyed how at every new chapter there was the chorus of one of the bands songs. There was nothing I didn't like about this book though. I recommend this book to you if you enjoyed the other books in the series ( Boy Band and Backstage ) or if you enjoy books about love and drama filled books. Worldwide is my favorite book out of the series and one of my favorite books over all! Everyone should read this book!!

This is the 6th book I've read by Jacqueline and my love for her writing only keeps on growing. She has an effortless way with words that makes you yearn for more and entirely forget about time. Her characters feel so undeniably real and 3D that you can't help but adopt them as your own friends. I read this baby in one sitting and I only hoped it would have lasted longer.
This is the 3rd book in this series and I just love how it follows the same person throughout it all. There's nobody else like Mel! Mel is seriously one of my favorite main characters ever and her relationship with Sam is just the cutest! And yes, I still like her even though I want him all to myself.
I love that we are shown how every situation impacts the group in a different way. Each character has their own unique personality and I can't help but love them all! Well, the ones that deserve to be loved.
I love how Jacqueline shows us both sides of the internet, the bad and the good, without favoring one over the other. There was so much tension in this book and I loved how expertly Jacqueline handled it. Also, these books just keep getting crazier and ending in such major cliffhangers!!! I was left speechless since I never saw the last events coming. I need to know what happens next, now!!

Worldwide Love Life

Trouble is brewing with a band as famous as The Kind of September. Add to it rumors about the relationship between Sam and Melissa, and the mix gets quickly out of control.

Preying upon the attention the band receives, the threat of a breakup comes closer. But whose? And what will happen to those that do?

Worldwide continues the problems a popular band can generate and who can be hurt through the simplest of decisions. It delves into the thoughts and feelings, exposing the harmful actions that plague humanity whoever we are.

Jacqueline E. Smith does a great job at weaving the story. For those of you who liked the first two books, there is an unanticipated twist. Read it. Post a review. I would love to know what you think.

REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)

Ms. Jacqueline E. Smith you never cease to amaze me with your vivacious writing. I can't seem to get enough of it (fingers crossed for the creation of a fourth novel). I'm unsure as to which book of the series is my favourite because I love them all equally!

I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This in no way alters my opinion of the work.
“I know they say that a picture's worth a thousand words, but it's amazing how often those words tell the wrong story.”
Please. The series absolutely cannot end like this. This will not do. Jacqueline, please tell me there is another book in the works. I need closure! And more importantly, I need a certain character to be disposed of.

When I started this series, I honestly thought this would be the last book. Now it's clear to me that I will be in a Boy Band withdrawal until the fourth book comes out. Things can't end like this. I need conflict resolution, haha!

*I was fortunate enough to receive this book from the author in exchange of an honest review*

I love all books by Jacqueline dearly. Out of the 3 books that I’ve read in this series, this one by far is my least favorite. It was entertaining, but something seemed a bit off.

There was a right proportion of drama, cuteness and swoonworthy characters. But the plot seemed a bit negative. I enjoyed the book, but the characters were testing my patience. They made so many stupid decisions in the book, they got on my nerves. This book was a major ‘ aghhhh are you stupid? What the hell?!’ moment for me. I just wanted to smack most of the characters on their head.

I enjoyed Mel & Sam's relationship and Josh, omg what a cutie. But everything was falling apart in this book. Nobody had their shit together. I just didn’t like it. And the end, oh my god, the end, the author is so cruel. I was so invested in the story that I felt everything the characters were feeling and it goes without saying that the urge to beat the shit out of Tara Meeks was constant. But it was a good read. Cannot wait to see what happens next!

I am enjoying this series, but this book has been my least favorite.

This book continues with all the drama and antics from the last book, but it is very much the same situations. All of the scenes seem to be rehashing different versions of Twitter trends and gossip scandals.

There are some new and upsetting developments in this story that will keep you on your toes. I am looking forward to the conclusion and getting all the answers to the questions I have in the 4th book.

Love this Series!

Worldwide is full of worry and rumors for all of the characters in the Boy Band series. This one feels a little more like filler material, but I still enjoyed it and got to know some of the other characters more because of it. I have a feeling book 4 is going to be the most drama-filled installment yet!

More onstage and offstage antics with The Kind of September and Mel, Joni, and Tara. Social media explodes with all the rumors going around. What's true? You'll laugh out loud (I did!) and scream at the characters and their choices. I'm glad I bought the 4th book when I bought the 3rd so I don't have to wait to find out what happens next! Very easy and fun to read.

This third book in the series took me a bit longer to read. I guess the fact that Mel and Sam were out in the open, smothered my need to read on a bit. But then all that Cory/Tara stuff happened, and Ms Cliffhanger struck again. Come on Spotlight, I need you soon.

This book was possibly my favorite one in the series yet? The story has become SO much more interesting at this point, I NEED to know the rest of it ASAP.

I have always loved the Boy Band characters. Sam is hilarious, Mel is quite funny herself in that awkward way of hers. I love all the boys (even Jesse), but right now let’s just say there is one boy in the band, I am unhappy with *cough* Mr. Bad Choices *cough*

Worldwide provides an even more detailed picture of the negative sides of fame. Even though Sam and Mel try their best to handle things as smoothly as possible, they face a lot of hardships, and this was portrayed VERY realistically, through fan tweets and newspaper article snippets.

Jacqueline E. Smith’s easy going style of writing is something I admire in all of her books. The story always progresses fast and efficiently. I finished this book in one single sitting and loved every second of it. I say this all the time, and will repeat it again- I love how each Boy Band novel ends with us readers NEEDING the next book NOW. It increases my respect for the book every time.

My favorite part of the book though was the chapter intro style. All the Boy Band novel chapters begin with a couple of lines from a song by the fictional band in the series, or by the other musicians mentioned in the book. I love the idea, but Worldwide had the best lyrics out of all the boy band novels.

So if you love music and/or boy bands, cute romances, stories about friendship and love and drama and celebrities — go pick up these books now!

"There have been moments when I've questioned everything. What we're doing, why we're doing it, why everything happened he way that it did. But then I look at you, and when I do, that's when everything makes sense. Life is beautiful and simple and as long as you're here... I know everything will be okay."

I have no idea where to even start with this book! After reading the first books in this series, it was extremely hard waiting for this book to release. Worldwide is such a fun, exciting, drama filled book! That might be why I love it so much? Who doesn't love drama?

It was so awesome to jump back into the world of The Kind of September! The second book left ended in a horrible spot! We found out a dirty secret, that I wont speak of just in case some of you have not read the second book yet, and the group was left a mess. It felt good to see that Sam's and Mel's relationship was not hurt over the secret, but will it survive when their relationship goes public? The band might be falling a part, friendships are dying, and fans are a huge pain! Us as fans, do not really realize how annoying we can be sometimes. I always assume that celebrities do not bother with what they read on twitter or face book, but Jacqueline has showed me that many of them probably do read the things that fans say, good or bad. Just because they do not respond doesn't mean they do not see what you say. This is something that I have always enjoyed about this series. This series is REAL. Jacqueline doesn't sugar coat being famous. She also doesn't sugar coat relationships. Jacqueline shows her readers the beautiful and fun sides of being in the biggest boy band around, and also the dark, evil side.

I have adored Jacqueline's characters from the start so it was nice getting to experience a little more with them. I said it once and I will say it again, The Kind of Summer and their friends feel like my friends. The characters are portrayed so friendly and real that it is hard not to have emotional connections to them and with them. I cry when they cry and I am happy when they are happy. I also hate certain characters when they hate certain characters, I wont name any names here.. haha

Worldwide focuses a lot on the secret that is destroying the band and Sam and Mel's relationship. We see a lot of tension between the group of friends. The whole time I just wanted everyone to make up and be happy because I love all these characters. Near the end, Jacqueline hits us with another twist and then ends book three there. Why do bad things always have to happen at the end of books? I can not handle it! lol.. I am now patiently waiting for a book 4! I need this story and these characters back in my life as soon as possible!

If this is your first time hearing about The Boy Band series, I highly recommend you look it up on Goodreads and add it to your TBR. This is a series you need in your life. Especially if boy bands, love, drama, and fame is your thing.

'I've heard people say
I'm the lucky one
I've got forever
I've got freedom
But I don't have a love..."

*Chapter 15 intro song. This chapter. Yes this chapter.

I literally rode in an ultra mega huge roller coaster. First and foremost I definitely understands why that who-must-not-be-named existed in this book. She adds flavors in it. Technically speaking, I won't focus much on her. Just want to say the book really amazes me on how it turned out. I got hooked and did not put the book down. The flow of the story is swift and good and it make you read more and more. Chapters and every chapter.

The world now know what is going on with Melissa and Sam Morneau. Their secret relationship is now exposed to the world. It turned out that it is their most anticipating world tour but many things happened and the turning point will make you crave for more. With all those bloggers, gossips, and the social media world, they of course know what is going on but sometimes they just ovethink over what is going on about the life of the band. People got angry and confused on what is really happening to the band. Love will break something else. Downfall also happens.

I really did not put down the book. I surely love the plot of its own and even though it is a light read, I like how it goes. It seems simple but one person is the main antagonist in here. The author carried the personality of the antagonist which makes the story goes well. So as also to the protagonist. I love the love between Mel and Sam. Intimate and purely love and comical things. As for the other member, they are not left behind in the story and as a matter of fact the story not just circulates around Mel and Sam but also to the other characters and I like that.

This is the story that makes me grin whenever the antagonist act something. I don't hate her and love her either.. I am amazed on how the author connects things. You know, this story is nothing if she is not there. See I even don't want to mention her name. Trust me this is worth a read and I want you to meet her.

If you are searching for a light but fantastic read. If you are fond of bands and celebrities, their life and such, you will love this. The life behind the camera is very legit in this book. If it is a food, this is very crunchy and very flavored to bite. This is for you. Mixed emotions and trials. It is between friends, lover, enemy, fans, bands and the whole celebrity things out there. This is worth a read. I am giving it 5 stars!

I am such a huge fan of The Kind of September!

WORLDWIDE focuses on the downside of fame: rumors, gossip, crazed fans, and the not-so-nice hashtags trending on twitter. The tension between the guys is palpable and the band is falling apart. But, amidst all the drama, the show must go on!

And of course now that the world knows that Sam and Mel are dating, she too is thrown into the spotlight. Poor Mel! Fame brings its own problems regarding relationships and falling in love. Dating a high-profile band member puts Mel in the public eye of a lot of jealous fans! Her family is (justifiably) worried.

Despite the drama that surrounds them – the romance between Mel and Sam is super sweet. I love them as a couple!

I’ve mentioned it before but I love how Author Jacqueline E. Smith includes the band’s song lyrics in her writing. The lyrics are beautiful and I can almost hear the band playing in my head when I read her poetry. It’s such a nice touch.

The characters are so lovable. I enjoyed all the witty dialogue between the characters. Sam Morneau is literally laugh-out-loud funny! I just love the band conversations between the guys.

And the villain I love to hate is back – I won’t say much more, but whoa… it’s a whopper!

This series is a MUST for music lovers. Highly recommended!
