Good, but basically just a compilation of accounts that I've read in other LDS Church History manuals, biographies, etc. Hits some of the high points regarding the First Vision, translation of the Book of Mormon, Martin Harris and Charles Anthon, Three and Eight Witnesses, and organization of the Church.
