A wanted serial killer and his girlfriend are on a bloody killing spree across the United States. Agents Hank Rawlings and Beth Harper, along with the rest of their team, are on a nationwide manhunt to bring them to justice. Scene after scene and body after body only add to the media coverage. The wanted couple's faces are splashed across every television and cover the front pages of every newspaper, yet Hank's team remains a step behind-leaving them searching through the wreckage and bodies left in the couple's wake. As the pair takes a turn for the border, Hank must pull out all the stops to capture the murderous lovers before they take more lives, cross the border, and slip through the FBI's grasp. The hunt is on.

A fascinating FBI thriller which follows the chase of a savage murderous spree in author E.H. Reinhard's, "Committed". This is the third Hank Rawlings/ Beth Harper suspense thriller. The story had me hooked very early on, and I read the final 150 pages in one two hour sitting. As a fan of history, "Committed", jumped out to me as a parallel to the famous 1959 killing spree and chase of Charles Starkweather, and Caril Ann Fugate. The book in itself was not a cheap rip off of the Starkweather story, but a deeper introspective of a couple without any morals whatsoever, and the FBI who scramble to end the vicious pair they are chasing. Nick Frane 35, a career criminal in Louisiana hooks up with Molly McCoy, 23 originally from Montana. Frane and McCoy cut a path of death and mayhem as they travel from Louisiana to Great Falls, Montana. FBI agents Hank Rawlings and partner Beth Harper are added to the original two man team tracking the dangerous couple. The problem continues to be that Frane and McCoy strike with terror before FBI can get a bead on their locations. As the couple hijack and steal two different RV's, and several cars along the way the FBI need to find out where the end game is going to be. Where exactly this couple intend to finally stop their cross country crime spree will be key to stopping them. By accident at one very grisly crime scene, McCoy messes up by calling Armond Gorman in great Falls. Frane is unaware that FBI has been tipped to the Gorman location. When Frane figures out FBI may be waiting in Montana he's livid. It seems McCoy grew up in Montana and worked for Gorman as a teenage waitress. In addition to working at Gorman's restaurant, McCoy gave Gorman sexual favors for money from ages 15-17. The FBI are clearly stumped to how this guy Gorman's has a role in this spree. Gorman living in Great Falls, is clearly holding some type of secret for the entire spree. This absolutely riveting tale is the glue to Rawlings and Harper meshing together as partners. Author E. H. Reinhard has exceptionally crafted Rawlings and Harper into a solid investigative team. After three books partnered up chasing some of the worst criminals running around, this formidable team was a blast to root for. Hank spent all those years as a sergeant to Carl Kane in Tampa, he now shines as an FBI agent. Beth Harper may be the senior agent of the team, but Hank has solidified the pair as a top homicide team for the FBI. Reading extremely fast, the pages moving at high octane speeds keeping this thriller top notch. Five stars out of a possible five stars for, "Committed", by author E.H. Reinhard. If you haven't stumbled into Reinhard's Carl Kane Tampa thrillers, you're missing out on some excellent noir. His characters are so well developed through his dialog thus making some very enjoyable reading. Please do yourself a favor, and check out E.H. Reinhards' Kane and Rawlings series. Must reads.

What A Ride!

FBI Agents Hank Rawlings & Beth Harper are back in the field, doing what they do better than anyone else: chasing & capturing the worst, most dangerous, sadistic & evil serial killers that could ever be imagined. No matter what it takes or how long, they are relentless in seeking justice for any & all who have been affected by these criminals & their heinous crimes against humanity. This series is exhilarating! You'll find yourself totally enmeshed within the non-stop action; throughout the book your heart will finishing pounding, your pulse racing, & sitting so far at the edge of your seat that it's a wonder that you don't fall off! I can't recommend this series enough... if I could give it more than 5 , through Goodreads & Amazon, I guarantee that I would! A wonderful addition to your library... so what are you waiting for? Trust me, you won't be sorry! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I really enjoyed this book because it is really packed with a lot of action. This book is about FBI agent, Hank Rawlings, and his partner, Beth Harper. They are trying to catch a psychopathic serial killer couple who are going across the country killing people. They have to figure out a way to catch them since they are always throwing Hank and Beth a curveball of where they are going. This book is the third in the series and every book has kept me on the edge of my seat. I would definitely recommend this book because it is not too long of a read and is not repetitive with the storyline. Also, since it is a crime book, the content is not too graphic. The author describes the scenes very well without going too much in depth to make people uncomfortable. The book is suited for most people, probably between the range of young adults to adults.

FBI Agents are hot on the trail of serial murderer Nick Frane, 35, and his 23 year old girlfriend, Molly McCoy. The only problem is that the couple is always two steps ahead. Agent Hank Rawlings and his partner, Agent Beth Harper, are sent to help. As Nick and Molly make their murderous trip north from Louisiana, Molly makes a big mistake! She makes a phone call to a former boss, Gormon in Montana. Hank and Beth leave the other agents and fly to Montana. (This book reminds me of the 1959 crime spree of Charles Starkweather and Caril Ann Fugate.) This book was definitely fast paced.

On the Road Again

Good reading. Hank and Beth definitely have a lot of intrigue going for them. They make good partners for each other. All their cases really have them going. No guess work in this book, just ongoing suspense. You did good on this one. I haven't been reading them in order but you write them so it can be done without stepping into the next book. They do give a little in site where they are off to next but doesn't spoil it for you. Keep up your good work.

Another good Hank Rawlings Thriller

I liked this episode of Hank Rawlings adventures in catching bad guys and gals. Consistent with previous novels, Hank has to track down villains involved in a series of robbery/murders that gruesomely left no witnesses. Hank and partner track them down, and follow them as they make their way to Canada. The chase grows more exciting as they quickly edge closer to the Canadian border! You will not want to put this crime thriller down!

A terrific series

This was an intense, complex, and suspenseful story that will hook you from beginning to end. Chasing tragedy after tragedy, everyone's trying to stop the couple who's been on a killing spree across the country. Will they be able to get ahead of them? It's not a story that you'll want to miss.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.

So-so

Not as good as Book 2. The author spent too much time describing rooms, interior of buildings etc. that aren’t necessary to the story. I skimmed through at least 10 pages of fluff.

Quick Read

A book packed with non-stop action. Your pulled in on page one? Fast paced with great characters. A life as a FBI agent would have to be dedicated to the job with little down time. A great thriller!

I have read most of Reinhard's Lt. Kane series and really enjoyed it. This book was a little too cruel and gory for me. Others might not mind it so much. It was still a good story.

These are getting better and better ~ you'd think that after a while, reading about serial killers would become overload ~ but not this series and not for me! I can't wait to read the next one! I seem to be burning through them about one each night {and, yes, I'm sleeping just fine, thank you!} ;-p

Good reading

This author never fails to write a novel that will keep you up way into the wee hrs.

My only critique is that there tend to be a lot of minute details that could have been omitted. For example: Going into detail about what actions

Hopefully, this is not based on truth

Hank and Beth's characters are definitely growing on me. The violence and lack value of life by the serial killers is difficult to process. Also, the depth of description of simple events can detract from the plot's flow.
