A very welcomed book. To my mind Colin Gunton is a theologian significant enough for an introduction to his thoughts. Anizor writes clearly and presents Gunton's most basic areas of thought. It is, I would say, directed to a general reading public, but some scholarly engagements are made. I like it how Anizor have a critical comment at the end of each chapter and then a more wider appreciation at the end of the book. I might have to get back more to some in-depth and detailed comments when I have time.
