Rate this book
Newly promoted, Captain Ashlyn Shaw has been ordered to take Delta Company to the Bennington System. Their mission is secure the groundside defenses and seek out the Callusian invaders. It should be an easy assignment. The Fuerconese Navy has proven time and again it is more than a match for the enemy. Once Taskforce Liberator arrives in-system, Ash and her Devil Dogs get to work. Except no battle plan ever survives the first encounter with the enemy. This time the Callusians are breaking pattern and it will take everything Ashlyn has to lead her people to victory.

The Devil Dogs will get the mission done, no matter what the cost.

Battle Bound is a short story set in the Honor and Duty series universe.

An SS./ASG. SYFY. Deep Space Action Adventure (BB) (HAD)

SS./ASG. have penned a SYFY. Short Story about one planet and their Marines, especially the ones know as Devil Dogs. The primary character is now a Capitan greeted to Major and she is preparing the Devil Dogs to assault a planet already taken over by an enemy. They engage the enemy and win the battle, but during the course of battle they find that the enemy is willing to sacrifice as many troops as necessary to stop the Devil Dogs. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Another short addition to the series that gives some more insight and background to the main character. I also loved that some of the other characters from the series were in this short story and particularly enjoyed the interaction between Captain Shaw and the Admiral as well as the other Devil Dogs. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series and sure wouldn't complain if there were more short stories to come!

Down and dirty, not too much detail.
