Shaun Henderson learned young that the best defense is to strike first. It’s perfect in business but not in matters of the heart. Morgan Pereira had walked away from a high profile position to protect her son. Years later she is given another opportunity to climb the corporate ladder. Taking the job opens wounds Morgan thought had healed. If Shaun really does want her, he’ll have to learn that some things can’t be forced. Love plays by its own rules.
Jeannette grew up in a large family, number ten out of eleven children, eight of them being older brothers. She quickly developed a great sense of humor, mostly from necessity. One of her greatest joys is sitting on the porch where they were all raised and hearing the stories from years gone by. Quietly laughing to herself, she notices how they embellish the stories more and more each year.
Storytelling was passed down from her grandfather and mother. Jeannette caught the bug at a very young age. If she didn’t have her head in a book, then she was off somewhere with a notebook, jotting down stories of what she would write if one day she became an author. Although the notebook may have vanished, the stories are still vivid and waiting for the right time to be told.
Despite having an amazing family, there have also been some sorrows in her life, including the loss of loved ones. Over the years, Jeannette has spent countless hours volunteering for different organizations and acting as a caregiver to those dearest to her. As a result, supporting the elderly became of utmost importance.
As she approached a milestone birthday in 2015, she decided to take her passion for writing and blend it with her desire to continue to help others. As she writes her stories, she hopes they touch someone’s life. Within the layers of the romance, the foundation remains throughout and is one that is dear to her; make a difference in someone’s life each day!
In 2016 she met someone who encouraged her to push herself even further and try her hand at spicy intrigue. One year later she has four books in this new series and each one pushing her limits just a bit further.
Like the wind, Jeannette’s life changed directions several times over the years, yet one constant remains: her desire to leave this Earth a little better than when she entered it as she tries to live by these words, Make your mark on the world today as your acts of kindness is all anyone will remember in years to come!
This is book three of Jeannette Winters Barrington Billionaire Series which also coincides with her sister Ruth Cardello's and niece Danielle Stewart's books of the same name and all the books link in with each other.
Meet the handsome billionaire Shaun Henderson. Shaun learned at a very young that the best defence is to strike first before anyone notices your coming and hit them hard. It’s the perfect solution in business but not for matters of the heart.
Enter Morgan Pereira. Morgan had walked away from a very high profile position to protect her son from the cruel comments from his father and grandfather. Many years later Morgan is given brand new opportunity to climb the corporate ladder again.
Taking the job in Shaun Henderson's office suddenly opens very deep wounds Morgan thought had healed when she walked away.
Shaun really does want Morgan but he must learn that some things can’t be forced. You need to wait your time and hope it's everything you want. Shaun spends a lot of time with Morgan and her son when they get to know each other. Her son is autistic and Shaun learns that autistic people act differently and learn differently. Can Shaun make a bond with Morgan's son as he starts falling in love with Morgan. Who knows but they say that love plays by its own rules.
Can Morgan and her son accept that Shaun wants to spend his life with them and have their happily ever after?
This is one book that brought tears to my eyes as it's not very often you get an author write about disabilities such as autism. My parents and i believe that i have a form of autism as i have to have things around me and they are put in a certain way. The doctors always disagree. I wish other authors would also include disabilities as not many people can recognise the symptoms.
This book is available in both the original version and a sweet version.
There should be an option for more than 5 stars as i would definitely give her more but have to settle for 5

This book is You & Me Make Three, of the Barrington Billionaire’s Series, written by Jeanette Winters. I think Shaun Henderson is even sweeter than Dean. Read it and tell me who your favorite is! It’s a great book!!
Shaun and Morgan are wonderful together. He’s hot in so many ways and she is in total control of him , wether he admits it or not . Autism scenes are written beautifully with Tyler , Morgan’s son.
Morgan Pereira walked away from her former job cause she didn't want to compromise on her self respect. She also left a high profile position in order to protect her son, Tyler. A few seconds later she was given a second chance to climb the coporate ladder when she's offered the job at Poly-Shyn.
Shaun Henderson and his siblings didn't have the best childhood growing up. To survive, they all had to learn how to protect their hearts which made them seem ruthless, arrogant and very pushy. All those traits are great for when they are dealing with business.
What a man to do when he sees a woman he wants but she's wary and he's coming on too strong?
As Morgan started her new job with Shaun looking after her progress while Dean and Tessa were away wasn't easy. He tried to play like she wasn't affected by his presence and vice versa but they both failed.
Being around Shaun Henderson opened up some old wonds Morgan thought were long left behind her. The hurt she felt when Tyler's father and his family turned they backs on them because Tyler was autistic.
Shaun changed in ways no one thought possible and he did all for Morgan and Tyler. In spite of his horrendous childhood, he wanted to make sure that he was nothing like his father.
YOU & ME MAKE THREE was filled with lots of family moments, beautiful and unexpected fun between the hero and the heroine. But most of all it was filled with heart. Jeannette Winters did a remarkable job, she threw obstacles at the characters and made sure they came out stronger than ever when all was said and done.
The story started a bit slow for me. At first, I wasn't really into it but every turn of a page takes me deeper into the story until I find that I can't put the book down until I get to the end.
I like the added diversity of the story. It gives more feelings and emotions into it. In fact I feel like there should be a book two fo this book three. Because I want to know what happened after they became three. How did Tyler feel about that? How did Shaun develop their relationship. I would like to see how that one build up. Because much as I like the diversity, I feel like it wasn't really explored. Like Tyler was just there to add as a conflict to the budding romance between Shaun and Morgan. So yeah, another story or maybe a novella starring them would be something that I'll love to see.
Storywise, it was really good. The first part as I said was a bit slow for me maybe because of the lack of dialogue and too much self-thought. Although I like knowing how characters really think I also like being shown these things through scenes that involved dialogue and interactions. It gets better throughout the story as the characters show you a part of themselves and when you really get into the heart of it, I guess it doesn't really matter how it started.
All in all, I really enjoyed reading this story and I can't wait to find more of what happened to the other Henderson siblings.
This is book 3 from Jeannette in the intertwining series with her sister and niece. I have read her books from prior to this series and it is amazing how she has grown as an author. Now onto this story. This is Madison and Shaun. Madison walked away from a prestigious job because of her son who has autism. The company she walked away from was her son's family and because he wasn't "perfect" in their eyes they wanted nothing to do with him. She could have stayed if she gave him away. She couldn't do it so she walked away. It wasn't enough for them to not want her or their child they also had to blackball her in the business world. Shaun is the Henderson who is the thinker and the worrier who as he feels is the most like his miserable father and he wants nothing to do with a relationship or love until....but it typical fashion will Shaun stick his foot in it because this is uncharted territory for him. Will Madison be able to see past everything? Madison is so set in her ways because of her schedule with her son. He is her number 1 priority. This book was a quick moving story and I found myself rooting for the HEA. Did they get it? If you haven't read this series I don't know what you are waiting for. I cannot wait for the next book in Jeannette's series.
Shaun was such a wonderful surprise, I fell in love with him almost immediately. Morgan was refreshingly different than a lot of heroines, strong and tough, yet very soft and vulnerable at the same time. You could almost tell from the beginning they would be great together. Who wouldn't love Tyler, anyone that has had very much time with an autistic child knows what special little beings they are, Jeannette Winters did an excellent job portraying him. I loved every minute of this book so I hardly put it down once I started. Easy 5 star rating.
Every time Jeannette releases a new book I know it will be great. With every book she has written each has gotten better and better. This book is no different. I couldn't put it down even if I tried. "You & Me Make Three" is so enthralling, breath taking, so intense, so everything. I don't think there is one bad thing I can say about the book.
I so recommend you pick you up your copy of this book today. Your going to fall in love with it along with the author.
What can you say about a man that steps to the plate to help out where a father doesn't want any part of his sons life - Shaun is that man, does he go about it the right way not at first but that doesn't stop Morgan from falling in love with him especially after what he does for Tyler.
I loved Shaun's story and how he excepted a child with autism. Lexi even though she didn't play a big roll in this book she still made me laugh when she just balled Morgan into the company for a position... can try find love.. u know it!! Can't wait for next book
An emotional read with a strong leading lady with a lot on her plait, Shaun learns her secret and instead of giving up he goes all in and finds away to let her see he's a good guy and would do anything for her. I couldn't put it down and I'm looking forward to the next instalment.
Another wonderful story. It was just as good as the last two. I loved the way you included Taylor with his disabilities and not making him seem different. I couldn't put it down.
I absolutely love this series. I have only one problem. I read faster than she can write. Lol. I guess that's a good problem. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this book. Great read.
I enjoy reading this book... I hope the author doesn't matter me giving you a highlight for her book!!!💜💜ENJOY IT!!!!
He led them just a few houses down from where they were. There was a house, which was similar to her parents, yet a bit larger and only a single family. Shaun pushed open the gate, and they walked onto the porch. “Shaun, what are we doing here?” He opened the door, which was unlocked, and ushered them inside. He watched her as she looked around the vacant living room before asking again. “Shaun. What am I looking at?” “Our new home.” “What do you mean? What about your place in Boston?” “It is not a home, never was. And besides, it’s not a place for Tyler to grow up. You taught me the importance of routine, and I have come to enjoy our weekend routine very much. Your father even agreed to let us keep the bikes at his house until Tyler gets used to them coming here.” Her eyes watered. “You really mean it? You’re willing to give up all that luxury for this?” “That stuffy, empty, lonely place where I showered and slept for a place I can look forward to coming home to each night? Maybe even get a home-cooked meal and a kiss at the door?” She laughed. “I think I can arrange both. Dinner’s at six.” That was something he already knew and planned on making as much as possible. “So you like it?” “I love it. Thank you. Thank you for loving us the way you do.” He bent and kissed her gently. “No baby. I should be thanking you. Without you both in my life, I don’t think I would even have a clue what love is.” She started to kiss him a second time, but he stopped her. “I promised ten minutes, and I’m holding to it. We have the rest of our lives to make this our home.” Then Shaun turned to Tyler and asked, “Tyler, are you ready for some cake?” “Cake.” He pulled Morgan’s hand and headed back to Elisabeth and Loras’s house. Everyone was already standing around the cake when they arrived, and Elisabeth was holding a knife. She handed it to Shaun who cut the first piece, then he in turn handed it to Morgan. She placed it on the table without cutting into the cake. “What’s wrong?” She leaned over and pointed at what was written on the cake. You & Me Make Three. He watched her cross out the three. Her hand was trembling as she took her finger and started writing in the frosting. F-O-U-R. His stomach dropped. Was she saying what he thought she was? He grabbed her by her shoulders and turned her to face him. “Are you?” She nodded. “Yes, we are pregnant.” Shaun pulled her into his arms and hugged her so tight that he was afraid he may have hurt her. “Good thing I bought the five bedroom house. I was hoping you would want to fill it.” Morgan smiled. “I would love to.” As he kissed his new wife all he could think about was one day needing to build an addition to the home. Five bedrooms didn’t seem anywhere close to what they would need. Whether they will be born into the family or adopted, our family will fill this house with love.
Morgan is fired from her barista job when her new boss tries to force her to wear skimpy clothing to "show off her assets", but then is given a job at Poly-Shyn under Shaun Henderson. Morgan is hiding secrets from those around her that could destroy her if they get out. Shaun suspects that Morgan isn't who she appears to be and is determined to find out what she's hiding.
The grammar/ misspellings bother me in this one, as they have in the others.
Wow, what a story. I've been reading these novels from the three different authors where the stories are intertwined and just love how they come together. What I enjoy most is these billionaire one-night-stand kinda guys getting taken down by these beautiful women.
Shaun and Morgan get their love story! Morgan is a single mother of an autistic son and, upon losing her barista job by confronting her jerk of a boss, is pulled by Lexi into the HR office of the Henderson company. Shaun is in charge while Dean and Tessa are gone for a week. Complications, as always, arise but they finally work through it all to their own HEA!
Shaun was with PolyShein business. Morgan was working in the human resources department. Shaun was helping Dean manage the company while Dean went on his honeymoon. When they meet, she was drawn to him, as he was to her. They had several meets and finally planned a date.
Being a single parent is difficult. There is nothing easy about raising a child alone. A special needs child is even more complicated. Add in a parent that not only offers no support but prevents your ability to earn a living comparable to your education, and you have a devastating situation.
