About the author

French Canadian poet, novelist and essayist. He specializes in Quebec modern poetry, in particular that of Gaston Miron. He has taught at the French studies Department of Université de Montréal until he retired in 2009.

This was an exquisite work. I am so enthralled with the landscape and the images he has desribed. Nepeveu has captured the imagination and it brings me to a place I've never been. What a beautiful use of language.
